I don't think its entirely clear that Romney will be the frontrunner in '12. We are still 3 years away. Here's my darkhorse candidate for the GOP in '12: Indiana governor Mitch Daniels. I think he will have a better chance at beating Obama in '12 than Romney because he'll turn Indiana red and possibly Ohio the way the last state approval rating with Obama has shown (49%). There's no way Romney will win his home state. With that being said, I hope Romney wins the GOP in '12.

I don't think the religious issue is going to go away with Romney. The Religious RIght which is made up of Fundy X-tians believe LDS are blasphemers and "not real x-tians." While seemingly ironically, LDS share a lot of the same views toward social issues with the Fundies and have made similar efforts to enforce their views on the rest of us. It's probably in our best interest to maintain the Fundy/LDS rift. They be more disturbing if they ever teamed up.

Mitt Romney will never be president of the United States. Not after Obama's election. That's not to say I agree with everything Obama is doing, but there's simply no turning back at this point. The repukelican party is DOA.

I don't think its entirely clear that Romney will be the frontrunner in '12. We are still 3 years away. Here's my darkhorse candidate for the GOP in '12: Indiana governor Mitch Daniels. I think he will have a better chance at beating Obama in '12 than Romney because he'll turn Indiana red and possibly Ohio the way the last state approval rating with Obama has shown (49%). There's no way Romney will win his home state. With that being said, I hope Romney wins the GOP in '12.

Cenk, I am telling ya - the GOP pays extra to have the best brains in marketing strategize for them. 1 of 3 things will happen 1) GOP is grooming dark horse while hopefuls mug and flounder; 2) The super-rich are letting the GOP fade because they are getting what they need from the DEMs now, or 3) GOP has already planned to fulfill the 2012 prophecy to end the planet earth and need their campaign money to build rockets to escape. You'll see - crazy like Foxes.
