I didn't really think she was a talented artist but still what a waste of life... It wasn't like she deserved to die at all, but her death hasn't really made me upset... It's just tragic what depression can do to a person, especially with all the drugs use everywhere... Even though I'm mostly for legalisation of drugs, this is why some are just purely dangerous and should remain illegal. Just a massive waste of life, and one that didn't do any real harm to anyone

Agreed 100%. I loved the sentiment of the video Kev, because I felt the same way. Incapable of approaching it comedically at least for the moment. Very sad waste of human life and a great talent. There's always' a "guy" who introduces someone to drugs. With her, it was her boyfriend..crack and Heroin. Nice guy huh? Problem with drugs you can't stay high. Drugs run out. You can't run away from your pain or your life. If you "embrace" pain, you can make your art better. Message: DON'T DO DRUGS!

Ignorant people saying "Rehab" was her only good song, are probably saying that because that's the only Amy song they've heard. Her first record 'Frank' was great, went like triple platinum, and Back to Black garnered all the acclaim and awards for good reason. She was a brilliant artist, with a timeless voice, who for whatever reason, was never happy with herself, and beat her body and soul to shit. Maybe Maybe she couldn't handle fame, Don't know. But I do know she'll be missed.

-.- okay let me just start with, yes amy winehouse is dead.. but we all must have seen this coming also the fact that in the same day there was loads of teenagers killed in norway and loads more people killed by a car bomb..... sorry for being a bastard but im getting annoyed how people only mention one person that obviously had these problems and not mention the ones that was shot down or blown up while at summer camp or on their way to work. there are many more people outside the pop world. :)

Never really cared about her or her music, everyone saw it coming the way she drank and did drugs. I know how you feel though, I felt the same when Ryan Dunn died. @JamFoub sorry mate 21years is max for all the things he did, the prisons in norway are first class hotels as the inmates describe it. they got tv beds internett phone get real food from catering get 200kr (40 dollars) a day while they are in prison.

The only thing I think we can take solace in from Amy Winehouse's death is that for all her fans, many of whom are young aspiring singers, it will be a message against drug abuse. I, myself, am 15 and although I would never have considered taking drugs anyway, this just makes me more adamant that I never will. RIP Amy. Your voice will be missed.
