Brings back memories when i visited Indian and went to Rajasthan, my friend's Bhabi made this and I couldn't figure out what the round flat things were, now I know, it's made of besan, hahahaha
hi, nice recipe.. need to know one thing that is it possible that we make gatte and freeze them and make sabzi whenever we need it.. i mean making gutta is only the cumbersome part so we can do it in advance and make a dish later....
i am from rajasthan and i never saw anywhere the way in which u made gutte ki sabji. first in gutte ki subji tomatoes never used and second we fry yogurt instead of tomatoes. ur subji is more like gutte ki kadhi.
@SNEHA12345ab it is not necessary that one has to follow a particular receipe slavishly. sometimes a twist or a change evolves the dish, this is quite a good receipe, authenticity notwithstanding
which video editing tool do you use? and do you use more than one camera for recording? Does you hubbies help in recording or do you guys do it by urself? please answer all of them... love ur videos :)
Thanks for the recipe... or all the recipes that you have provided... also I love the pan & the utensil tool that you are using. Do you know where can I purchase them? Thanks...
Our very popular pan was purchased from TJ Maxx (unfortunately, it doesn't have a brand written on it). The red spatula is from a long time ago..again, no brand.
I just tried this recipe out and it is delicious. Well done! The only thing I forgot to do was to add the garam masala into the dough, so I just upped it in the yogurt mixture. :-)
u guys are so well conscious of the qty of oil u use, that's great...Indian food tends to use alot of oil and its important to set limits even though its tastier with more oil we need to exercise some control.
how can you divide it into 3 to 4? you can cut only in 3 or 4 pieces :P just kidding! thanks for the recipe...

@vinitakukkar: Yes, you can, you might need to boil the gattas a little longer in the gravy when you are ready to serve.
