  • shut up you pakie

  • Thank you thank you I learn a lot God Blesse you

  • does this method only work on 11 to 20

  • it only works for numbers with a base of 1

  • The power of the internet.

Now, I found myself multiply two numbers that's close to the tenth, just for the fun of it. ;)

    Thank you!

  • 1.take a deep breath

    2. think of someone u like

    3. press F10 5 times

    4. send this to 5 youtube videos

    5. look at ur backround

  • I'm a 12th grade student and I never stumbled upon this method in my self. This is such an absurd! Anyways very appreciate the effort! isn't simplicity beautiful...?

  • Thank you very much u are the best man ;D i dont have problems in math but its still better than i do THANK U :D

  • can u do it with different bases like 16X25

  • This is how multiplication of large numbers should be taught. One can easily calculate the partial and whole products of any two or more massive integers.

  • broken english but he's smart

  • one word.....Awesome!!

  • my god this is good, it is like 11 times tables lets say 11x 72 = 7+2 = 9 then add in the middle answer 792

  • this is not easy i am in 3rd grade the smarter way that u said is hard very hard

  • Thank you so much

  • Love it! Love it! Love it!!!

  • i tryed to to impress my mom with my multiplication...

  • I guess you can't apply the base rule for all numbers. Try 63x64 using base 10. The answer you get is 1182 which is wrong. Can you please tell us how exactly base rule works for different numbers? Why do we add/subtract from 25 when we use 50 as the base?

  • cant understand him. broken english

  • I'm pretty proud for you. You appear to be a very intelligent mathmatician; I thank you dearly for the demonstration good sir.

    Now here's a question..........

SHOW US ALL HOW TO DIVIDE PLEASE AND THNX ALOT !!!!

  • @howardhughmiller Thats not a question good sir.

  • 32*20 donor work -.-

  • what about ?0x?0 =?

  • 99 x 99 take the 9 off 99 x90 = 8910 then 99 x9 = 891 then its 8910+ 891 = 9801

  • id like to have been taught this when i was at school

  • cant do 99x99 because 99+9 = 108 and then 9x9 = 81 which would make the answer

    10161, answer is 9801

  • try multiplying 108 with 9 (972) then continue using his method with + 81... you should come out with 9801

  • 13 x 12 take the 2 off of 12 so its 13 x 10

add the 0 to 13 so its 130 then take the 2 you haven't used and do 2 x 13 thats 26 now add 26 and 130 and you get 156 you I have learned to do this very fast so i allways answer multiplication fast in class

  • This is bullshit! It only works if the basis are 10^1, like in this example.

Following that principle you can't multiply 43x13.

    Useless shit.

  • can u do any number

    or like 10 to 20

  • Aww thank you!

  • you are so smart

  • omg!!! Thank you!

  • omg ty so much for this method genius 5/5

  • yh yh...it works whit low numbers like 13 x 13 but try do like 98 x 56 than that fuckign thing not work so....i say bad work !

  • cause 98 and 56 is closer to 100.. its in the other video.. the numbers that he showed are only closer to 10.. :)

  • thats easy, (100(56) - 2(56))

    5600 - 2*56

    5600 - 112

    5488

  • try this for all multiplication take 6 off of 56 now its 50 x 98 put the 0 behind 98 now its 980 take the 5 and multiply so 5 x 900 = 4500 + 5 x 80 = 4900 now 6 x 98 take the 8 off so 6 x 90 = 540 then 6 x 8 = 48 so 4900+540+48 =5488

  • I already know all these skills but thanks for helping us out anyway. I personally think that it's easier when you've learnt all your times tables and do the calculations normally because what he did slowed down my calculation. XD lol

  • what if it is like 135x125

  • the math behin the trick:

    12 can be written as 10+2, 14 as 10+4

Or more generally for any number close to 10... 10+a or 10+b

    now the multiplication becomes (10+a)*(10+b)

which can be rewritten as 10(10+a+b) + a*b

So this is why it works.

  • Thank you for posting this awesome video!!!! I can multiply Double digit numbers simply now!!!!!

  • awsome thxx

  • It works with numbers in the twenties to. U just have to multiply it by 2 after u add the number so 23X22: 23+2=25X2=50, those are your 2 first digits, for the the last one u do 2X3=6 so your answer is 506 XD It'S that simple :P

  • Navz007, tell the people it ONLY WORKS with numbers in there teens on either side. Someone try 21 x 22 his way and see what you get.

    it's still cool other wise.

  • what if it is like 13x56?

  • Wow how'd you find this method out? My fastest way is way more complicated!

  • you are a life savor thanks

  • omg thx

  • thx!!!!!!!!!!!! awesome lol

  • u fuckin awesome man

    really!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude your so genius, thanks for sharing us your blessings

  • NICE!!!

  • great video, my son will learn how to multiply using this method!!! thanks!!!

  • really cool, works and tanks, this is very simple compared to the normal method. Thx ^.^ Thx

  • your my saviour thanks navz you rule

  • Damn thats cool!!

  • thats really cool

  • i love doing this...

  • My favourite subject is math, but am afraid to do maths

  • i fully agree with u, I tried to do it using base base 20, 30 etc but it becomes complicated again.

  • that's awesome

  • What kind of animated program did you use to make this video?

  • how would you do 50 times 50

  • 5 times five times 10

  • so bad

  • Wow this is pretty neat

  • Awesome dude

  • dude this is called vedic maths

  • i think u need to sleep....lol

  • sorry:P

  • good way 4.5/5

  • Did he say Gagulador? haha

  • great job.. but i dint get a right answer for this one.... 21*13 = 273. but using your technique i got the answer as 243....jus check out n let me know :(

  • i think it only works with a base of ten. so it's kind of useless for anything else

  • i fully agree with u, I tried to do it using base base 20, 30 etc but it becomes complicated again.

  • Well if you take 21 and subtract 10 you get 11, multiplied by 3 is 33. Add that to the 240 and you get 273 which is the answer

  • this was in response to reshu7

  • I did it disributively: (13x10)+(13x2)=156. Its easier for me ( I practice a lot)

  • hi.. u showed good examples

but i got stuck with one example.. can u plz explain to me

like if i want to multiply [ 22 * 12 ] or [12 * 22] in the same way as described here .. i got different answers and both are not correct..

  • God bless you man .. thank you

  • I think the speaker sound is similar with BORAT.. :)

  • you sound really familiar

    i think i have talked to u b4

probably bcos im from the same background as you

  • lol. ive talked to you before im sure

  • 156

  • Im going to subscribe and faviorite this, you'r a good teached, thanks man, thankyou

  • yeah it only works if 1 is the first digit

  • you're a genius!!

  • That was cool I think after a few rounds I could get it!

  • turteeen vid twelv

  • Im confused??????? ? ? ? / ?????

  • R U A FOB & DESI

  • i dont think it works for 96 X 25.

  • where did this come from?

  • The easiest way is ..

    13*12 = 12*12+12*1 = 144+12=156

    16*12 = 16*10+16*2 = 160+32=192

    18*14 = 18*10+18*4 = 180+72

  • no,its 1x1=1 3+2=5 3x2=6 156

  • Thats only easy, if you fastly know that 18*4 = 72...

and then you have to calculate 180+72 ..

    so .. 14+8 = 22(0) + 4*8 = 32 = 252 is easier..
