Hey Ross. How do you put the powder on?? I bought the brush and the powder on Amazon but I AM CLUELESS lol. omg this is so funny. let me know plzzzzzzz
Unless you have some sort of skin disease, you don't need moisutrizers. You later said you're using a product for oily skin- In other words, t you're drying out your skin and then lubricating it. Your face has a shiney look that people who use too much product get- Looks like you're plastic
@hexum7 Actually, you're wrong. I'm a trainee dermatologist and moisturising your skin is vital to ALL sky types. I think Ross has glowing, almost perfect skin. Men aren't meant to look too matte because that looks plastic, but Ross' skin is slightly dewy which is great. Learn the facts before you criticise.
@dannnxo no, men should not look "dewy", which means shiny, greasy. i have seen this on men and it's always guys who use a lot of product- it's not a natural look.- and not all skin types need moisturizer- just ask anyone with an oily complexion...are you sure your training is any good?
@hexum7 Yes, my training is very good thank you very much. Any professional will tell you that even if you have oily skin, you need to moisturise. You only need to type in "does oily skin need moisturising" to see for yourself. "Moisturizers can be used to prevent the skin from becoming too dry or oily," ... "When you wash your face, regardless of what type of skin you have, you're removing the oil that holds moisture in your skin. Oily skin needs moisturizing, too"...
@dannnxo what kind of "trainee dermatologist" uses random sites as sources? The claim that all skin needs to be moisturised was concocted to sell product. Please produce actual studies in legitimate journals that support this position.
@creejay Oh yeah because I'm going to be able to pass down a journal to hexum7 to read. I don't use "random sites" as sources, but I was just trying to explain what I have learnt. I'm guessing you're a dermatologist then?
@hexum7 ... It's just a misconception that people with oily skin have, "oh if I don't moisturise, my skin won't be oily". Well that's not true, I'm sure there skin still gets oily regardless. I have very oily skin but I keep it maintained using a lightweight and matt moisturiser. I would never skip moisturising.
PLEASE HELP, ok so I bought the cleanser, visibly even moisturizer, natural glow, that he showed, and it slowed down the acne that kept popping out which was great but it didn't make any of my acne scars or my face clear? what should I buy and do? im desperate please help
okay, so for shampoo I use men's dove thickening shampoo, and for conditioner I use furctis conditioner, once a day, but my hair is always dry, kind of hard, and puffy after my shower, when i'm supposed to have straight hair.
So my Question is this? do you know any great products for a really soft, flowing, not dry hair- shampoo and conditioned that I could find at a local beauty salon or wal-mart
Does the jergens self tanner stuff basically make your face look odd after you shave, as you are basically exfoliating and removing the color, the top layer..I shave every 3 days but don't want to look spotted or have a lighter tone in one area than another
I was hoping I could somehow get a matte finish with just a moisteriser, but if thats not possible I might resort to make-up. Only problem is I avoid companies that use animal testing and I have dark skin so I cant use that LOREAL powder. Anyone know of any good alternative that are just a invisible as that powder?
ive yet to find a moisturiser that im not allergic to it makes my skin like go scaly i used one resently it looked like somone burned my skin on my face i couldnt leave my house it was that bad i exaggerated a little but it did look like i was burned
The only problem with SPF products is that they only protect you for 4-5 hours max (the best ones). So when you're finished from a day at work your completely at the mercy of UVA and UVB rays (except in winter). How does an expert like yourself get around this?
Are you ever gonna do a video of products that can be used for various situations?
I found you can use distilled water and hydrogen peroxide mix with some essential oil like tea tree oil as a cheap teeth whitening, or using Dawn Hand Renewal for our hands since it is terrible for dishes. Then there is using sifted sugar as a hand, foot or body scrub?
Great advce !! some of your products you cant get in the U.K, which is a pain.. I want the eye roller, wher can I get it please.. I cant get crest toothpaste in the U.K.. can you show products I can get in the U.K..
some of your products you cant get in the U.K, which is a pain.. I want the eye roller, wher can I get it please.. I cant get crest toothpaste in the U.K.. can you show products I can get in the U.K..
What do you think about Darphin Under eye serum? is it worth the price, does it work? its costs quite a bit of money, so i want to know about it before i purchase it :)
Hey Ross, love your channel man. I'm glad there's guys out there like you looking out for other brothas lol. Well I was wondering if you could do a video on how to clear acne scars? Not really clear, but help them fade away more? Or maybe you can answer by just simply commenting back with some tips! I'm 99% sure there are other guys out there like me with the same problem! Thanks a lot man. Keep up the good work :)
@MrCircyy yeah same here although i am now trying that neutrogena moisturizer mentioned in this video. hopefully it will protect against the sun which is my weakness
Hey ross, are astringents anywhere in your routine? I have been using clean and clear's sensitive skin astringent w/ the foaming wash you have and I have had good results but not amazing. Should I continue w/ or w/o the astringent. It does contain alcohol, but it feels light.
if any of you guys have oily sky use MAC cosmetics oil control lotion its my favorite. personally i need concealer but i think ill buy all that stuff from MAC
Ross: In one of your previous videos you recommend Aveeno Active Naturals Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 15. Now, between the 2 that you recommended in this video, and the Aveeno, which exactly do you believe it perform better? Thank you!
Ross you are a doll! Your tips work for anybody and everybody man or woman. I love that toothpaste too, ive used that one for a long time and its the best.
Do you have any suggestions for tinted moisturizers/bb creams that men can use, and absolutely will not make you look like your wearing makeup? I want something that will help give me a lively coloring to my face, Im already oily so I don't need anything that acts as a "glow enhancer".
yay! I'm so glad u made another video =) I'm learning so much about products, especially the MakeUpForever HD powder the microfinish one. Really great! Keep making videos cuz i really enjoy them =)
@MensSkinCareWithRoss yea it is kinda unrelated hahaha i was just curious i mean i know there are so many scents and of course its different person to person.. but perhaps maybe some tips.. hahaha. also do you think that diy masks work any better than the tube or packet ones? there are a ton of them out there.. from lemon juice to egg white... and many gurus swear by them.. just wondering what your thoughts were.
@MensSkinCareWithRoss hey Ross i gotta say i'd use most of your products but i dont want to go to a store and be embarrassed by buying the products :( plus my mom wont let me order stuff online x.x
I'm going to be a Cabin Crew for a middle east airliner soon, so your advices will be a great help. I do take care of my skin already, but I didn't know some of the products. So thanx for sharing.
When you use the BHA liquid, do you apply it on a cotton pad or just with your fingers? Also, how often do you use it as a chemical exfoliant? My current routine with it is to apply it after cleansing and toning. Since I use a cotton pad for the toner, I just put a few drops of the liquid on my hand and then pat it all over my face. I do this just at night.
I love that a guy actually cares about having sunscreen. And thanks for messaging me back. Since I have a beauty channel I can give your tips to them to give to their hubbies or boyfriends. I'll even put your link in the bottom.
