Unless you have some sort of skin disease, you don't need moisutrizers. You later said you're using a product for oily skin- In other words, t you're drying out your skin and then lubricating it. Your face has a shiney look that people who use too much product get- Looks like you're plastic

@hexum7 Actually, you're wrong. I'm a trainee dermatologist and moisturising your skin is vital to ALL sky types. I think Ross has glowing, almost perfect skin. Men aren't meant to look too matte because that looks plastic, but Ross' skin is slightly dewy which is great. Learn the facts before you criticise.

@hexum7 Yes, my training is very good thank you very much. Any professional will tell you that even if you have oily skin, you need to moisturise. You only need to type in "does oily skin need moisturising" to see for yourself. "Moisturizers can be used to prevent the skin from becoming too dry or oily," ... "When you wash your face, regardless of what type of skin you have, you're removing the oil that holds moisture in your skin. Oily skin needs moisturizing, too"...

@hexum7 ... It's just a misconception that people with oily skin have, "oh if I don't moisturise, my skin won't be oily". Well that's not true, I'm sure there skin still gets oily regardless. I have very oily skin but I keep it maintained using a lightweight and matt moisturiser. I would never skip moisturising.

PRODUCT FOR MEN

okay, so for shampoo I use men's dove thickening shampoo, and for conditioner I use furctis conditioner, once a day, but my hair is always dry, kind of hard, and puffy after my shower, when i'm supposed to have straight hair.

So my Question is this? do you know any great products for a really soft, flowing, not dry hair- shampoo and conditioned that I could find at a local beauty salon or wal-mart

I was hoping I could somehow get a matte finish with just a moisteriser, but if thats not possible I might resort to make-up. Only problem is I avoid companies that use animal testing and I have dark skin so I cant use that LOREAL powder. Anyone know of any good alternative that are just a invisible as that powder?

The only problem with SPF products is that they only protect you for 4-5 hours max (the best ones). So when you're finished from a day at work your completely at the mercy of UVA and UVB rays (except in winter). How does an expert like yourself get around this?

When you use the BHA liquid, do you apply it on a cotton pad or just with your fingers? Also, how often do you use it as a chemical exfoliant? My current routine with it is to apply it after cleansing and toning. Since I use a cotton pad for the toner, I just put a few drops of the liquid on my hand and then pat it all over my face. I do this just at night.
