I didn't know this was a cover until now. I kinda recognized the lyrics, but MAN Joy's rendition is unique! This is sooooo good. I love how Joy Williams, changes her voice to a playful, sultry tone; SO GOOD! I wonder why they are not super stars. THIS is excellent music!!!

As much as I enjoy their music what gets me off is the way they are always messing with each others heads. "An ode to some music john paul might have growing up listening too." Lulz. It's one thing Joy to stick the knife in by call him a "jerk" but then to twist it and squirm it around is almost cruel. They do the 'scratch a lover find a foe' so well it's scary.

@rockalittl I just saw them at the Madison Theater, and, I hate to say this, but a lot of that appreciation is ....GONE. The product is so refined and "corporate" - much more so than in the "early days" (ok, so only a year ago!). I think they looked a little bored, to be honest.
