If this is the best, then I can see why roller skating isn't an Olympic sport yet. Maybe she was just having a bad long program, but she fell, double footed landings, turned intended triples into doubles, and even touched down. None of her heel spins were centered either. Did she actually win this year?

roller is so much harder, we had ice club come to our rink and none could skate, but we went to ice rink and most could spin and at least do doubles!

i did figure skating on ice and tried to do it on roller skates..it's so much harder on wheels the skates are a lot heavier.and it's harder to get wheels to move in the direction you want to go than blades...anyone who does this i take my hat off too..

hi, I´m mexican and I´m 13 years old, becouse of that my english is not perfect. I only want to say that if you say that she makes always a mistake and is graceless, is becouse you can do it better, thinking that you can do it better, why you are not in a competition like that one??? and for the coment that says that ske copies the slow part of the carmen music to katarina witt, maybe she admires her, it would be bad if she have copied all the routine to katarina.

i know that, but i did ballet for 6 years, and i know very well what is grace. She makes mistakes in jumps, it is a fact!!!

grace...in this sport or in figure skating can't be "measured" by how many times you fall or don't fall after jumping. cause it happens too often. in a figureskating competition of 24 skaters maybe one or two skaters will do their program perfectly. often that doesn't even happen...

so i think grace doesn't come from that but from skating, posture and overall appearance and presentation....

I like how that chickenhead in the audience screams during her clumsy landing on the axel. Tanja's landings, although clean, are always a little too abrupt in this routine.
