Everyone has a right to peaceably assemble and control their property while being peaceful. When a camerman is filming you in public, you have no right to touch him or his equipment. It is not clear to me but it seems that the black guy was warned not to touch his equipment and interfere with the filming, then he touched or grabbed his wife in some way and was warned about that too by a push to separate him from his wife. The thug used this "push" to justifiy assaulting the guy.
