I play in a group here in Nashville and Bill had some very nice things to say when he came out to see us. He is world class talent and human. It really made me feel great a legend said that about my playing.
Not only does he sing it...but he co-wrote it! George Benson released the recording that made the song famous (did an amazing job), but I enjoy Bill's version more. You can check out HIS recording on his "Through It All" album. It sounds amazing live, even when he screws up the lyrics...;-)
@Lisalee66 You bet Single-1978, Runaway-1981, No Wasted Moments-1990, Burn Down The Night-1992, Through It All-1994, He Started To Sing-1995, Mayday-1996, No Place Left To Fall-2008. Not to mention all the guest apparences on other peoples albums i bet i got some songs you dont have you might want
if the piano player is gonna solo, at least he could do it in the right key...it's G minor. Oh, Bill is jammin as always, he needs a lyric sheet. 'The first thing to go is the memory, and I forget what the second thing is....'
Yeah Bill often times could use a lyric sheet...but it's part of his charm. And well, like he always says "he paid top dollar for his memory loss"...;-)
What he lacks in memory though, he makes up for a million times over in every other way.
LOL, he looks a little like G.W.B. isn´t he?
