Gordon, Okafor, Boone, Charlie, T Brown, D Brown, Anderson, M Williams, this could have been the greatest line-up college basketball has ever seen, better than the fab 5 (we won it all) better than NC the following year. Just unstoppable that season if anyone can name a team/year that had a better team I'd be impressed.

Skyfire...get your facts straight. Better than North Carolina? North Carolina beat them (for the second time in a row) the season they won the title. Great UConn team but 2005 North Carolina was one of the most talented teams in the past 15 years and UConn had several chances to beat them and never did.

Only reason that team wasn't more dominant in the regular season was because Emeka was hurt most of the year. They steamrolled everyone when he was healthy, except for Duke who only got a lead because Emeka was in foul trouble. I'll never forget the second half of that game.
