  • Heyman is a gentleman. Clearly a very intelligent guy with a lot to contribute to the wrestling business.

  • wow so hollywood rock was heymans idea??

  • Fuk Landsberg !! stfu and let your guest talk for fuk sakes!!!

  • 5:15 "Excuse my language, I swallowed a lot of *beep* and it was right to swallow the shit". Way to go beep guy

  • haha they bleep out the first shit but when paul says it a couple seconds later you can hear it :D

  • Michael Landsberg is a humourless annoying cunt.

  • michael landsburg is the typical square headed canadian with beady eyes as depicted by south park

  • smackdown better 2002-2005 from when heyman was booking was great. it would beat raw some weeks in the ratings.

  • I like how they cencored shit the first time but not the second

  • @FatFadi I just noticed that haha. Awesome

  • RRRRRRRRROOOOLLLLLLLLLERRRBALLLLLLL!

  • man landsberg talks a lot just let him speak shit

  • Wwe needs to rehire Heyman, and fire the other writers. He'd bring great storylines back.

  • paul heyman is a wwe superstar, come on he can't even wrestle the divas !!!

  • @carzyscenctist Paul made smackdown AMAZING back in 2003 he would make that brand look important instead of the same bullshit we see now!

  • His Austin impersonation was almost dead on, lol.

  • @BlackSabbathory I thought the same thing

  • Oh this is the guy who sucked so hard on Bret Hart's arse when he interviewed him that they had a hard time separating his lips for Bret's bum-crack. Then he went on to pucker up to Shawn's arse as well. This guy just wants the people he interviews to shit all over the WWF. He's manipulative to the point of confrontational, hoping they'll bite - that's why the questions are loaded. I don't like Paul Heyman, but I do give him credit for the way he handled himself in this interview.

  • @carlito12310 nice point mate!!!

  • It's not that Heyman can't give a straight answer. Fucking Landsberg asks such bizarre, loaded , and confusing questions regarding situations that Heyman wasn't direclty involved in or insider info that Heyman wasn't privvy to. They're factual questions for Vince or Steph that Landsberg wants Heyman's opinion on. So much for journalism.

It's only in the third part of this interview where Heyman starts going into Con Man Mode and answering "I don't know" to questions he knows the answers to...

  • Heyman's understanding of television programming, and how to craft characters to meet the audience's needs is an amazing gift. Hopefully future people in the wrestling business learn from his ability to trail blaze and change the industry.

  • "Paul Heyman, are you a fat bald spineless pig that can never straight up answer a question?.. wellllllllllll shhhhh I I I I I don't know, maybe, but at the same time I can't really say

  • @BjGard "Do the fans want Stone Cold back?" ..... "Yes." I think that would be considered a straight-up answer.

  • @BjGard paul heyman is a genius idk wat ur tlkin bout he has a great mind 4 the buissness and a great mind in general and all men eventually lose some of there hair and ur probably fat and bald urself so shut up lol ur just mad because heyman is more succseful then u ever have or will be..... i have had the great oppertunity to meet paul once being from philly (obv thts where ecw was based) he is just as smart in person and is actually really nice, funny and down to earth

  • what year was this?

  • this interviewer needs to shut up and listen!

  • the interruption at 3:30 is enough to make me wanna kill Landsberg.

  • E C DUB! E C DUB!

  • austin walked out on the wwe because of injury! dumbfuck

  • @caramico71 thats what they want you to think... he wouldnt just say he left because of a person and the backstage politics because that would start a lot of shit, yeah injuries took a part in it, his neck was a bit fucked and all but that wasnt 100% of the reason

  • @caramico71 ummmm dumbfuck no he didnt i dont know where u heard that from...... yea he eventually retired becuz of his neck but this was a diff time he left becuz of the booking and didnt want to lose to lesnar amongst other things i love it when ppl get cocky like they kno everythin when they actually don't lol ur prob such a smart fan u think that john cena and randy orton are the best wrestlers ever

  • @carlito12310 he did! writing had something to do with it but he was frustrated with his injury thats why he left!! just because you have a boner for the guy and jurk off to his matches doesnt mean you know shit!!!!!! Who the fuck are you to correct me

  • @caramico71 who do i have a boner 4 lol no one as far as im concerned but do u mean austin or heyman or hhh i like the first to n hhh was great late 99-03 but he latley gets on my nerves

  • Wow..so Paul was the brains behind The Rock's heel turn in 2003? MAN

  • Now stop criticizing Landsberg..yeah he cuts u off mid sentence but at least he does his homework n asks questions dat make sense instead of the bilge asked by 'sports journalists'

  • @ILuvMcCool He cuts people off when they go off topic, or if it doesnt answer the question he asks. It's likely the producer telling him to do it

  • A true wrestling icon.

  • BRING HEYMAN BACK TO THE ANNOUNCE TEAM PRONTO! CM PUNK! CM PUNK! CM PUNK!

  • lancesberg's a faggot.

  • The interviewer is a jackass

  • @DanielvanGianni He does it on purpose and does with anyone that comes on lol.

  • 3:56 to 3:58 lmao aat the Stone Cold impression HHAAH +_+ =-=

  • i really think Heyman HATES this interviewer as Much as i do =0 look at Heyman's hand at 3:39,,,, lol

  • @jerichorocker1234

if you really look at his hand closely it is his index finger in his ear not the bird. Look real close.

  • @TheColinDouglas that isnt wat i meant... i was joking that it looked like he was motioning a gun to his head NOT the bird =0 lol

  • @jerichorocker1234 ah, understood

  • wait Stone cold's real wife was involved with WWE??,,,,, is it the same Debra as Debra mcmhchal?

  • @jerichorocker1234 Yes it's the same Debra, she was with WWF from 1998 to 2002.

  • IM A PAUL HEYMAN GUY :)

  • @OctanePanda ME TO he is so awsome and smart and a cool guy......... man he is so much smarter then any russo or biscohof or mcmahon. GOd why does WWE an tNA so such stupid shit

  • the entire problem with wrestling is what is there

that can be done that hasn't already been done in the

past??? fans today are too quick to compare todays

new wrestlers/storylines and angles with thier

counterparts of wrestlings past so the second you

begin comparing them you lose sight of how to enjoy

    the show.......sad but very true

  • this interviewer is a fucking jackass he cuts people off constantly.

  • heres one thing stond cold in 2001 headlined wrestlemania the next year. you have him mid card status getting his ass kicking by the group. who he kicked their asses in ratings each week and help kill nwo. to job when we his stone cold and that with the crappy crybaby heel stone cold would have pissed him off

  • what was paul heyman talking about when he said austin could go off interest and never touch pricinple? Like he could life off the interest his money is in the bank without touching the money initially put in??

  • @Smackd0wnKing exactly

  • @Smackd0wnKing Yeah, as in he's earned millions, so he can in the bank and probably earn 10% interest which would be hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. If not more.

  • 5:20 they censor the first shit, but not the second? xD

  • Undertaker = Wrestling God

    Heyman = Creative Genius

    McMahon family = Creative Jesters

    Cena/Hogan = Too much hype.

  • @ejr23 If not Hogan in the 80's, then who?

  • @ejr23 dude you can't even compare that moron john cena to hogan... hogan was and is sitll today one of the most recognizable characters in the world, just like muhammad ali, tiger woods etc..

Cena has no talent, can't talk. if he didnt have anyone writing him scripts and doing his warthrobe and stuff then cena wouldnt be shit.

  • @ejr23 back then the wrestlers cut their own promo, and for the most part, they came on with their own gimmick (unless they were just jobbers and didn't have any skills) so yeah hogan doesn't even compare to Cena. you can credit hogan for all his achievements in wrestling. as for Cena you can just credit vince's creative staff.

  • Why does it say WWE superstar?

  • triple h says he will not let steve austin in the company!!!! who the fuck is triple h to decide who to let in and whom not!!! fucking sun in law to vince thinks he owns the company...!!! I hate him for bullshit like backstage politics and leg pulling of other wrestler he does!!! in fact that is some thing he has done in his whole career!!! filthy swine he is!!!

  • @navieedful ummm....... Triple H is actually the next in line for the WWE throne, as Shane McMahon left the WWE

  • @czw4life shane would have never got the reigns even if he stayed it was always their intention stephanie get it with hhh because she and triple h more interest

  • @navieedful i have always thought that hhh really hates steph u see them n pics he always never smiles and looks so mad i think he obv just did it 4 the power n one of these days there will be an accident where somethin happens to steph (i hope not) but its a possibility and hhh gets the company all to himself then runs it straight into the ground becuz he will be in his sixties and be world champ and make every1 job to him

  • @GerryDisthenamedo you know when this interview took place I know it was 2002 but which month!!! tell me if you know????

  • @nWo24life I know some wrestling fans like to say Eric Bischoff had no original ideas, but the Cruiserweight Division was his.Vince McMahon seen the success it was having in WCW and tried to duplicate it himself with his Light Heavyweight Division.

  • @vashperado I wouldn't even be surprised if Paul Heyman came up with that storyline idea on his own.

  • Hey, I bet you that Steve doesn't have a Paul didn't pay me my money story lol.

  • censor one "shit" but leave the other... classy

  • At first I thought Landsberg was talking about Austin's time in ECW at the beginning of the interview. I was like "Landsberg you fool he was only in the company for a few months".

Stone Cold could spin it any way that he wanted to, but I'm guessing he left because he wasn't being used (or being treated) as the top guy anymore. He probably didn't want to job to Brock Lesnar and that was the final straw.

  • @mattd687 Austin would have lost to Lesnar but not on a Raw show; he wanted it to be on pay per view. Austin and Brock are very good friends in real life.

  • @themax316 Austin goes to UFC events and cheers for Brock, but I don't think that makes them good friends. I don't think Austin wanted to put Brock over at that period of time, even if it was PPV. He just seemed so disgruntled with everything that he just didn't want to lose, probably because he thought WWE was trying to move past him.

  • love how they censor the first shit and not the second

  • Fuck that Landsberg is a prick.

  • 3:30 "The company (this was during 2002) doesn't have a lot of stars"....... are you fucking kidding me? HHH, Angle, Taker, Booker T, Rob Van Dam fuck i could go on and on. Whoever this guy is he clearly has no fucking idea what he's talking about. He also has no idea how to conduct an interview properly.

  • @wogacelli rvd and booker t were never money guys. hhh, angle, and taker... were never and never will be on the same level as the rock and stonecold. rock and stonecold were just so high. like rick flair or hulk hogan in their era.

  • @wogacelli

Well... at that times standards the WWE really didn't have any stars. Yea if you look back on it now days then it looks amazing. But wrestling was way more better back in the day so it was harder to impress. But that just shows how much wrestling has gone downhill, WWE had that killer roster and we still weren't impressed. Compare that 2002 roster to todays roster and todays roster looks like kids playing at recess. Just shows how BIG the ocean use to be.

  • 6:41 was this foreshadowing rock's amazing 2003 heel run?

  • Michael Landsberg doesn't know how to conduct an interview... for god's sake let the person finish speaking, you can't just interrupt him in the middle... its simply inappropriate and rude...

  • oh and also...did anyone else notice paul sounded just like steve when he imitated the WHAT? phrase?

  • ya know as much as it would aggrivate the hell outta me to see tna prospering they should practically sell their souls to get paul heyman in their company if they did that the stories would be fucking better matches wouldnt suck and the wwe would notice the actual threat coming up and go back to what made them great in the first place subsequently putting tna out of business...so i suppose i want a company to do well for a while only to be completely crushed and ruined later..makes sense

  • paul heyman was what made me watch smackdown during and prior 2004 what a great...no scrap that THE greatest wrestling writer ever!

  • i thin The Rock turning heel in 03 was Paul's idea!!!!

  • @undertaker4700 i think so man. Paul is a legend.

  • haha love the way the 2nd shit wasnt censored!

  • @rob7259 LOL! was about to comment on the same thing XD well spotted

  • Hell, I think in the next few years even Randy will be brought back, if the money is right

  • Ha! @ 5:20 they bleep "Shit". but he says it again right after and they didn't bleep it. I guess the first Shit is the worst.

  • Interviewer is a pretentious douchebag. Let Paul Heyman finish fool.

  • Sooo, they censor the first "shit", but not the second one?

Paul got it right though, if Vince could make $, he'd bring back Bret.......

  • @NWpowerhouse85 He did though..well, temporarily.

  • @KissMeImPunk Heh, you misinterpreted what I meant, I'm saying, Paul was right about Vince bringing Bret back if he could make $ lol

  • @KissMeImPunk BTW, I betcha Bret comes back at some point..

  • @KissMeImPunk BTW, I betcha Bret comes back yet again at some point..

  • @NWpowerhouse85 Is his current contract up yet?

  • @KissMeImPunk It expired for sure. I'm not sure if it was November or December, but it expired around that time.

  • This guy never ever lets any of the guests that he's interviewing finish a sentence.

  • This guys such a tool, at least let Paul finish what he's got to say before you start flapping your gums

  • Haha beep the first "Shit" but not the second one.

Awesome interview. Paul Heyman is one of the true greats, and a fascinating man.

  • If you put into account when this was recorded, Heyman was right about pretty much all of it.

  • This guy sucks as a commentator. Has he ever even seen wrestling before? Paul Heyman is a god...yet the interviewer should kill himself with barbed wire around the neck. Hate you bitch!

  • Paul Heyman is amazing.

  • if this guy would shut up and let paul finish a damned sentance, we might get something worth watching

  • goddamn, was Paul even aloud to finish a sentence with this dickhead

  • he did say "snow job" rite?

  • the interviewer is terrible...he won't let people finish their answers...

  • I think maybe they assumed the first time he was gonna say dick or cock or jizz lol, then they realized it was shit and didn't bleep the second

  • Micheal Landsberg pisses me off sometimes. He dosen't let people he's interviewing finish what there talking about. If i was Paul Heyman i would have told him to shut the fuck up a couple of times when he kept intreupting him during the interview.

  • Paul is spot on about it all, the fact that he said ''if bringing Bret Hart back would be good for business, he would bring him back'' - And guess what happened....

  • @Subliminallll Yup. Ditto The Rock. "They'll love him the first night, but he'll be a great heel!" That's, to a tee, the Rock in 2003.

  • Im putting it out there now...Paul Heyman worked closely with The Rock to form his heel hollywood persona

  • @Raad187KO

I wouldn't be surprised, Rock and Heymen would make sense for the genius that was Rocks heel character.

  • WWE should be weary of TNA, I agree with alot of people that at the moment TNA isn't doing good business. But there was a time when wcw wasn't doing good business but once they got their act together they almost destroyed WWE. TNA has the potential to do the same if they got their act together. Which is a strong possibility, but I suppose we will all find out in the years to come. P.S Paul Heyman rocks!

  • That was a great Stone Cold impersonation done by Heyman.

  • they bleeped his first shit, then not the second haha

  • this guy sucks at interviewing.

  • 03 was the last time I enjoyd wwe

  • When Austin let WWE, I didn't care anymore. All I ded every week was for him to make an appearance but I ended up disappointed when he doesn't. I was a fan of Goldberg but he lost his edge when WWE bought WCW. I never liked Lesnar because he resembles Ivan Drago in Rocky 4. Then Eddie Guerrero became hot, then CM Punk, then Batista and now it is all CENA.

Fuck Cena, Without Austin WWE is a soap opera for half-naked men.

  • Boy, this is old.

  • wait can someone tell me , when rock came back and he was heel was it paul's idea ? cuz they knew rock would be heel fast? since fans were upset that rock kept leaving? and if rock comes now i dont want him to be heel , hes the best but i guess i understand where they coming from cuz then rock can brag about how big he is lmao and eww triple h can suck it

  • Vince would of called Landsberg out on his interruptions and told him to STFU

  • Paul Heyman does have good ideas, but he can't do it on his own. He needs someone else (like Vince) to draw money from his ideas.

  • Paul E was fired from WWE for standing up to Stephanie McMahon and telling her her writing ideas suck. This is why WWE is so crap because anybody with a good idea has to run it by Stephanie McMahon who doesnt know shit, WWE with Paul E as head of creative wouldnt be the same shit that we see today!!

  • @UltimateSenshi

If Pauly was creative director, or whatever, in WWE it'd still be like the attitude times in the WWE. Which was pretty danged good.

  • @UltimateSenshi Stephanie McMahon yes and another piece of monkey's shit is Paul Leveque

  • @UltimateSenshi he made Smackdown the top show on cable

  • @UltimateSenshi No, but it wouldn't fly because his ideas (ECW) and way of doing things, while they do appeal to me, they don't appeal to the masses. People with women and children, for ex. Old people that don't like cursing.

  • i hate lansburger

  • wrestling genius!

  • Why'd they bleep the first shit and not the second shit?

  • "Nah, we wont regret paying the censorship guys half for this episode."

"I swallowed a lotta sh*t. Because it was right for business to swallow the shit."

  • i didn't like nWo in WWE

  • @Bhhsboy1 i liked it when it was hogan nash and hall after that it was killed

  • pal heyman is the man friggin genius!

  • lol 5:17

  • paul did a good impression of steve austin....lol.....

  • What?

  • what happen to paul V)V

  • 5:15 is hilarious. They bleep the first time Heyman says "shit," but not the second.

  • @pianoman014 lol i thought i was the only one that noticed that

  • sort out TNA Paul!

  • Paul is always a great interview, sadly, this one isnt going how it should, lol. Good questions, but let Paul go. Paul takes 4 minutes a question on an off day, let em go.

  • why doesnt he EVER let them finish answering the questions

  • idk y no one yet tells this asshole landsberg or knocks him out already

  • Stone Cold started getting pissed because he knew WWE was headed down the shitter like it is right now.

  • Paul can make better storylines than that guy in TNA!

  • @Amrit1200 i think you or me could make a better storyline than

    vince russo

  • 3 words to landsberg...let.......them......SPEAK

  • heyman is a real cool guy man

  • the host has to be like the one has to have the center of attention fucking let paul heyman speak.. this show is shit..

  • heyman shuld b gm on raw idnt care he knows wrestling:)

  • Heyman predicted three storylines in this interview that would happen. Vince bringing Austin back, who would then feud with a heel ''hollywood'' Rock. And Bret Hart coming back.

  • @CMakaveli91 I was thinking the exact same thing.

  • heyman knows wrestling, unlke some...i wonder if he still is the writer?

  • @shakysyxx no he is retired.

  • Finally wrestling gets some good media.

  • 3:55 legend

  • they bleeped shit once then they missed the second one.

  • heyman has a good austin impression

  • @massmayhem12 i like his terry funk one lol

  • Heyman for president!

    Vote Paul E. 2012!

  • exactly what the rock did

  • HEYMAN PLUS TNA = DREAM

  • Does Paul still work in the WWE

  • @supermanXL

Heyman hasn't worked for WWE since the 2nd ECW PPV (or maybe 3rd, don't remember) when the PPV did horribly and Vince blamed Heyman (even though it wasn't his fault).

  • @lordloc Was it Paul idea for one stand

  • Lol=)) first time beeping shit and the second time not=))

  • Heyman foresaw the Hollywood Rock.

  • Heyman pretty much foresaw Hollywood Rock.

  • Landsberg is a bit annoying, but I respect him for not being a huge wrestling fan but him still having respect for the business, & although he does cut off a lot of guests, he usually does it too emphasize on the question, but yea still a little annoying.
