If you are a Catholic and use a Catholic bible I think it may say Mary watches over people etc. However this book along with 4/5 others were added into the bible by the Church in Rome. They were made up and added in and not part of the original bible. For example at the Reformation the Protestants removed these books saying they were not the word of GOD (and this was correct their not GOD's word their man made).
If you have something to ask go directly to GOD, no-one else. The bible tells us towards the end of time people will turn away from the faith without even knowing their doing it. She is the mother of Jesus and as such, a very powerful mediatrix or intercessor for our behalf. In this life, it is true that a patron, parent or elder is a great advantage when we ask for favors. Asking help from the Mother of Jesus is powerful aside from asking help from Jesus Himself. It is also true Jesus can never refuse His mother's requests.

I guess I'm trying to say that when we do get visions or apparitions, it tends to be of Mary or the Angels, and we hear about our guardian Angels etc. Though I do see your point, it doesnt say that we pray directly to them. I guess a lot of the new age stuff around tells us about asking things of our angels. Dare I say it may have worked the last few months too.

If you are a Catholic and use a Catholic bible I think it may say Mary watches over people etc. However this book along with 4/5 others were added into the bible by the Church in Rome. They were made up and added in and not part of the original bible. For example at the Reformation the Protestants removed these books saying they were not the word of GOD (and this was correct their not GOD's word their man made).

@moony27 I think we should be clear on the subject: we pray to Mary asking for help but it is wrong to worship her as a God. She is the mother of Jesus and as such, a very powerful mediatrix or intercessor for our behalf. In this life, it is true that a patron, parent or elder is a great advantage when we ask for favors. Asking help from the Mother of Jesus is powerful aside from asking help from Jesus Himself. It is also true Jesus can never refuse His mother's requests.

Correction it would idoltary if we Catholics were to only believe within an image in a statue. We offer respect and as for those saints to pray for us and that we as humanity become better aware of God and of Christ Jesus who is our only savior. It irriates me when other "christians" judge us without really researching and asking why we do the things we do. Hope you wake up, here goes: Gen. 3:15 - we see from the very beginning that God gives Mary a unique role in salvation history. God says "I will put enmity between you and the woman, between your seed and her seed." This refers to Jesus (the "emnity") and Mary (the "woman"). The phrase "her seed" (spermatos) is not seen elsewhere in Scripture.

All these reformed and new churches such as pentecostal/protestant are very dangerous because you purely follow the bible, completely disregarding all the church traditions which were put in place by those who ate and drank with Christ.(None other than the apostles).

These several apparitions are proof enough she ascended. Just as Elijah did.
Why would Jesus not glorify his own mother as highly (even more so) as Elijah? Also, why would the Spirit intercede for us, if the Holy Spirit is God? Intercession is passing on our prayers to God, and praying for us.
Intercession is not direct prayer to the intercessor

The Holy spirit is God (so why would we ask God to pray to God for us?) That makes no sense. These traditions in the Church were created by the apostles of Jesus.
