I can try and translate this for hearing people. Both my parents are deaf but American and Canadian are a bit different. I'll try and translate this as best I can

when deaf people put videos on youtube, they generally do not use audio since they are more often than not making the video for the deaf community and they cannot hear it anyway, which makes sense but i wish they would put subtitles so those of us who can hear would know what they are saying cause it takes a long time to become fluent in another language.
