I would know, I popped my copy in after I watched this. The lighting isnt static, the textures are all double resolution, and it supports bloom and AA.

Could be that your video card doesn't support all the ENB effects. Also, check that the settings for ENB are correct for RE4 (I believe an invisionfree post has this, that you may copy & paste into the text file instead of you having to do trial and error)
By the way, if you don't want to download my stuff using rapidshare it is all on filefront. Just search "vipersnakex" in google (my filefront username) and the directory is /Resident_Evil_4/Mods/. There's also some other stuff besides my hair like the melee pack, headshot announcer, and the M16's.
You've done some awesome work on the PC version of RE4, just wish someone could figure out how the real time cutscenes work, then it'd be the ultimate version.
Download the mod pack in the info for this video and it contains some proper keyboard graphics for the buttons, just unpack them into your RE4 folder.

No, ENB does not do that, but read the description, the Hi-res texture pack makes it, unsuprisingly, higher textured res, the models you can download from the mod boards for every character, make the models better, as do the new animations for the characters.
Before you try to put the Mods for the game down, do some research.
The game has been heavily modded with way more than the ENBMod. All of which make this far superior for a second playthrough if you played with no shaders or lighting whatsoever. You may not think the game warrants this attention, but thousands of PC players, which why it has such a large MOD community.
The game is still a classic, weather or not you play the newer games, and to finally have a decent version of a classic game is no crime, besides, deadspace is terribly overrated.
Of course it's a classic, but once you know how the story folds, like any game of this genre, there is no point revisiting with newer graphics (which don't really make a change anyway). Old game, should be let to demise.
Yet for people like me, who have never played the console version at all, and bought the PC to see what all the fuss is about, should just accept the state it comes in at retail and play a sub standard port, when with a few mods it can be made much better and made to be close to the Gamecube version?
No, we should have a verion that the cosole owners got to play, which is what this video is about, not for people who have played the console versions, but for people who have the shitty PC version, missed out on the whole atmosphere of the game due to this and can now have something with the atmosphere it was designed with.

You've done some awesome work on the PC version of RE4, just wish someone could figure out how the real time cutscenes work, then it'd be the ultimate version.

Download the mod pack in the info for this video and it contains some proper keyboard graphics for the buttons, just unpack them into your RE4 folder.

It changes the lighting in the game to something more resembling the console versions, plus adding other features like depth of field and bump mapping.

Lol, what are you talking about, I'm simply correcting the mistakes in your comments, the "50 comments" as you put it are because youtube has a character restriction in its comments box.
By the way, it's called modding, not messing with files, and you know, it's a pretty big part of PC gaming :|

Yeah, no shit, I've been doing modding since even before it was called modding but messing with files. BTW, it's modding when you are give the tools officially, otherwise it's messing with files and getting good results.
About the character limit, if you post short messages, you never run out of characters.

I think you'll find the word MOD applies to both ENBMod (hence the name) and the Texture patch.
Why are you even that bothered? The game looks better with these "messed files" if you prefer it to be called that, which is something you were saying was not true.
I post long messages because there are that many inaccuracies in your posts concerning the additional files for this game.
People want to do this to this game, just accept it and move on.

No, ENB does not do that, but read the description, the Hi-res texture pack makes it, unsuprisingly, higher textured res, the models you can download from the mod boards for every character, make the models better, as do the new animations for the characters.
Before you try to put the Mods for the game down, do some research.

The game has been heavily modded with way more than the ENBMod. All of which make this far superior for a second playthrough if you played with no shaders or lighting whatsoever. You may not think the game warrants this attention, but thousands of PC players, which why it has such a large MOD community.

The game is still a classic, weather or not you play the newer games, and to finally have a decent version of a classic game is no crime, besides, deadspace is terribly overrated.

Of course it's a classic, but once you know how the story folds, like any game of this genre, there is no point revisiting with newer graphics (which don't really make a change anyway). Old game, should be let to demise.

No, we should have a verion that the cosole owners got to play, which is what this video is about, not for people who have played the console versions, but for people who have the shitty PC version, missed out on the whole atmosphere of the game due to this and can now have something with the atmosphere it was designed with.
You want to go on and play something else, fine, but don't tell me or others how we sjould be spending our time gaming.
