  • why dont you all stop focusing on the background and start listening to what hes saying...this is the problem with us these days! i agree that it would be better without music but its still beautiful and Allah is merciful! may He reward this brother saying such beautiful words.

  • Allahu Akbar..........Don't you all know that MUSIC is HARAAM in Islam, and you're saying Mash'Allah????????????????

    Allahu Akbar, Astagfirullah!

  • @Docapprentice there is no guitar and heavy music in the nasheed please take it easy eslam is easy religion most of the sounds are from people sound please dont be anger ^_^

  • @faTTTima1 Sister, there's no such condition of guitar specifically or heavy music. Music is music, there's not differentiation of heavy and light and neither any standards. Music is Haraam, without any doubt & categorization. If you didn't already know this, you should research about it.

Yes, islam is easy for those who act upon it the way Prophet Muhammad PBUH taught, not the way we have made now a days.

  • @Docapprentice brother i mean if you consentrate on the music you will recognice that most of it is people voices and other sounds it like (duff) which is the bram they use it in mohammed PHUH period but Musical instruments like guitar , violin and piano are not allowded as all religion men said im not defending on those how use music by the way we can make all the sound in the nasheed using people voices ^_^

  • @faTTTima1 I'm afraid sister it's not say the way you said. If it was the duff and peoples' voices only, it was possibly without any harm but it clearly has other music from genuine musical instruments, VERY CLEARLY!

    If you're seeking the truth, watch this;

  • hm..

  • the real islam has no relationship with terrorism if so everyone is gonna bomb himself for the name of allah but God didn't say to suicidy but said to fight for the name of him and the name of Islam even if the price is death.Islam is a religion of peace, love, kindness and everything beatiful in the world. All those who tried to dirty the name of Islam are gonna pay for this for sure caus God want everybody to be a muslim but converting smoothly not by violence!!!!

  • If you've seen or heard something disturbing from a group of Muslims, that doesnt necessarily mean that they are representing the right image of Islam. A lot of the terror that you see on TV is entitled under the name of Islam, but thats not true. I am a Muslim and Im against all the violence that happens like the suicidal bombing in Iraq or other countries. Its not my personal opinion; my religion tells me that these acts of violence are wrong.

  • ModernCrusader1

whoz hiding the truth .... its a misconception that Islam is terror cult.... N the prophet is not fake.... if u dont have enough knowledge plzzzz dont speak about... U jus cant say anything you want about anyone.....

    ISLAM means PEACE...................

    Wassalam!

  • very talented. God bless you.

  • mashallah, he is good, very nice tune

  • well seeking people entering islam through haram ways is haram, since this says that you dont trust the ways Allah has provided for us to tell people about islam

The Prophet (pbuh) never used music to catcfh people into islam

besides, how can you say that music which is described in the Holy Qur'an in more than one verse as the voice of shaytan (satan), is a buetiful thing and is an art

come on people be creative and search for another HALAL method in telling people about islam

  • GOD BLESS HIM AND ISLAM

  • نشيد جميل و صوت اجمل

  • come on!

  • very nice

  • lol I've been working with this guy for a long time and was even going to ask him if he had heard of Hamza robertson. I had no idea who he was. SubanAllaH Allah has blessed me with another door open

  • and also(every body is listening to music, the ones who pretend it haram and the ones who do not, these words may attack and break some hearts,it's the religion of shame and grace by the way)

  • When The Prophet (pbuh) says its haram, then it is haram, and there are a lot of hadeeths that say that, and more than one verse in the Qur'an says its haram, so you cant philosophise music as halal and say it's an art and it's something beutiful, we describe it as Allah (swt) described it "the voice of satan" and the four imams said it is haram and the one who said its halal are replied upon and there proofs are very weak and wrong as proven by the great majority of the Ulama. and all say that

  • so you're telling me that when ahl el madina sang tala3a el badr 3alayna, that was haram? allah (SWT) described anything that makes people forget about him as haram, but this music--how can u call it haram? its reminding us of the beauty of islam, of our beloved prophet (pbuh), of All (swt). how can something that acts as a reminder to all those be haram? its just not possible.

  • well, this depends on how strongly you trust Allah and Prophet Muhammad (salla allahu alayhi wa sallam) and the Companions, You see thing this way, and they see the things the other way, so you choose whom you want to follow and see whose going to help you on the day of judgment

the hadeeth which tells the this poem and that they received prophet muhammad (salla allahu 3alayhi wa sallam) is very weak as the scientists of the hadeeth say

  • , because the sanad (which is the series of men telling the hadeeth) has three men canceled which mean like when I tell you napoleon told me so & so & so and this is unbeleivable because he died before i was even born. so this hadeeth is not an excuse or a proof on any thing since its not right, besides when you look at the words of the poem, "thaneyyat al wada3" is on the side between medinah and al sham (lebanon and syria recently) so how come they say prophet muhammadsallaallhu3alayhiwasallam

  • that he came from thanyyat al wada3, while he came from the side of mekkah which is on the opposite side of al sham. and if we're gonna say the rewayah is saheeh (right) then its not permissible to take it as a proof since this story can have many possibilities like (1-this was before music being haram. 2-this is permissible at this situation only. 3-this is only for the prophet (salla allahu alayhi wa sallm)) and the scientists of sharee3a say that

  • if a proof has many possibilities then it cannot stand as a proof by itself. and if we say it can, there are many proofs that say it's haram which are ayat and ahadeeth sa7ee7a, so there is arule that says if there is aproof that says haram and a proof that says halal, the one that says haram is chosen (and the proofs on this rule are alot) and that if the two proofs are sa7ee7, what do you think if one of them is weak.

  • besides the extra words in the rewayah that says (with the duff and tunes) was said by abou hamid al ghazaly in ehya2 3oloom al deen and this extra part is by el ghazaly only not in the original rewayah as said by al hafez al 3eraky when he checked all the ahadeeth in ehya2 al 3oloom

  • wow. i truly am speechless. mA, i've never looked at it from that point of view before. its def. something to consder. i have to ask though, if you're so opposed to music, then why were you on this video? you dont have to answer. its just one more thing to wonder about.

  • well, the reason why im so opposed is that i once was a musician and i know every single excuse a musician can think of coz i used to aid the permissibility of music since this goes along with my desire, but there was a strong conflict between gettin closer to Allah and playing music so i began to search thoroughly in this issue, and al hamdu lillah that Allah has made me do the right thing after knowing it,

about me bein on this video is i thought that it was a non musical nasheed

  • but then again, allahu a3mal--Allah is the only one who truly knows.

  • PLus, songs with any instruments can obviously catch more people entering islam...it's really illogical to write such things:Islam is not a problem about music at all!people will escape from islam if they reed such comments.islam is not a prison. islam is pure truth and logic! the best path of life!

  • also,If somebody takes any instrument and sings with a sublime voice and touching words about god, i will probably be crying by joyfulness! and also there is nothing haram in a magnificient song played with guitar or piano, an emotional song by beethoven or an elegant touch of violin is always a smooth and nice melody to hear(it's also a sign of intelligence and a sstrong will to seek it's science by the way)!

  • there is nothing harmful in composing music for god...whatever the instrument is, the sense of music is pure and the messages are Great!

Music is an art and an exeed of power to use gently and magicly an instrument! The nia of is eveything for god FIRST!true Believers can understand that instruments have nothing to do with haram or halal!

  • there's nothing wrong with singing a nasheed with the use of the duff, but we must admit, regardless of what we would like to think is true, that the use of any other kind of music is HARAM....YES HARAM!!!!

  • actually the word used is not translated as duff but as percussion. percussion are all the instruments which are struck not plucked. all instruments used in this nasheed as far as i can tell are all struck and not plucked. duff isnt the only thing that is allowed other instruments inc. piano, violin (both were pioneered by muslims read history). its up to one which meaning they take and not up to others to judge, so please lets not play God and live and let live :D inshaAllah!

  • Closer analysis of the wordings of the Hadith establishes the prohibition of music. Firstly, the words `seek to make lawful ` shows that music is not permissible, as logically one can only seek to make lawful that which is not allowed. Secondly, if music was not prohibited, then it would not have been brought within the same context as fornication and wine-drinking

  • One hadith from the Bukhari Shareef, the most authentic Book of Hadith, further confirms unlawfulness of music and singing :

`There will be people of my Ummah who will seek to make lawful; fornication, wine-drinking and the use of ma`aazif ( musical instruments ).`

Detailed analysis of the arabic word `ma`aazif ` shows that it refers to musical instruments, the sounds of those musical instruments and singing with the accompaniment of instruments.

  • This statement, he repeated three times. This view is unanimously supported by the four Khalifas, the eminent Sahabaah, Tabi`een, the four Imaams and other reliable Islaamic scholars and authorities.

  • When Sayyidana Abdullah Ibne Mas`ood radiyallahu Anhu (Allah be pleased with him), a very close companion of our Prophet Sallalahu alihi wa sallam (Peace be upon him) was asked about the meaning of the term `lahwal hadith`, he replied

I swear by Him besides whom there is no other God,that it refers to ghinaa (singing ).

  • 1) Singing and listening to songs. 2) Purchasing of male and female singers. 3) Purchase of instruments of fun and amusement.

  • no, i don't know that music is haram in islam. Please show me one verse in Ouran or one hadith that said music is haram.

  • brother zinrosdi, there is more than one verse in the Holy Qur'an and more than one hadith that says that music is haram,

but first i recommend you read this article, and if you're still not convinced there are other verses of qur'an and other hadeths that prove that music is haram, but this is a simple article

i ask go to guide me and you to the right way and make us enter jannah in sha2 allah

  • Introduction

In recent years, certain developments have taken place which has brought the subject of music as an extremely significant issue. Music has spread to such an extent that it is afflicting every muslim in this modern era. Today, individuals are being confronted by a situation where one is forced to listen to music whether by choice or without. Music is played in nearly all department stores and super markets. Even whilst walking in the streets, we find cars blaring with music.

  • No matter which direction we go, we are blasted with music. The increasing popularity of music, which is prevalent in our society poses a tremendous danger for muslims.

  • References within the context of the Holy Qur`aan along with the Hadith of the Prophet Sallalahu alihi wa sallam (Peace be upon him) confirm that music is haraam.

Interpreters of the Qur`aan have defined the term `lahwal hadith` which is mentioned in the Qur`aan as:

  • ok watever man just stop writing massive comments and just lisen to it if you dont like it wats ur problem do you have one we can sort it if you want lool nah mann com on bros jus listen to it

  • i love him sooooooo very much

  • yes we all know adding music to nasheeds is haram. but maybe he doesnt knwo that. maybe he is still preaching islam and this is hhis first step to show he has faith.

  • A Brit kid converts to Islkam and becomes a Muslim pop star. How utterly naïve this guy is. When Sharia law is fully implemented in the UK his music will be declare "haram" and his career will be over and his life in danger.

  • how great , this guy is wonderfull...

may God let the ummah rise again by people like him :)

  • more pepole we come in to the islam if pepole will read a piece of our holy quran i read it my self i dont know arabik but i know english such butefull words from god

    great song

  • الله يثبته مبروك عليك الاسلام ان شاء الله لك الجنه

  • instruments in nasheeds are okay if it takes u closer to god

  • no other instoments beside the 1 skined drum can be used

  • whatever was the shariah 1400 years ago stand today, it cannot be changed to meet our desires and modern ways. we know that there are certain rules when it come to music, nasheeds with music cannot be justified, i just hope people who think it is dont fool themselves into thinking its allowed by being negligent, ye its wrong but we all do many things wrong, may allah guide as all, im just having a go at muslims who kid themselves into believing u can change islamic laws to suit themselves

  • I rather see people convert to Islam after listening to a positive song like this than seeing a sour and judging person like you convert them.

    that's my two cents.

  • brother, sorry to argue with you. i am taking nothing away from the good intentions the singer may have, just making my point that many people fool themselves into beleiving that due to modern day situations rules can be changed,as for the converts, i never said that i wanted to convert anyone, we all know we can only the true message, hiyah and guidance is in the nads of allah, we cannot convince or convert any1 in the 1st place, even our nabi s.a.w could not convert his beloved uncle.....

  • brother, sorry to argue with you. i am taking nothing away from the good intentions the singer may have, just making my point that many people fool themselves into beleiving that due to modern day situations rules can be changed,as for the converts, i never said that i wanted to convert anyone, we all know we can only the true message, hidayah and guidance is in the hands of allah, we cannot convince or convert any1 in the 1st place, even our nabi s.a.w could not convert his beloved uncle.....

  • Greaaat voice mashallah, but i don't know with the music :S
