I think I'm not ready or maybe not interested to use the chromebook because I work with catia,solidwork and 3dsmax studio.....

but for the people just turn on their computer just for fb, chat, upload video/photo, on9 business, blogging, porn n blalala.... chromebook is the right choice

Windows has had for YEARS. Its called HIBERNATION. Yeah, you may have to press a button but at least you run Microsoft Office on it and do something important compared to just pissing about on a web browser. Its useless for everyone but Facebook turds. Good luck with it.

The whole point of the Chromebook is that its portable and in the cloud and available wherever you are on multiple platforms, so yes, you NEED internet to use it fully (but you can login as a guest and sync later when you have a connection (3G/Wifi)), that's the whole point. If someone buys one without knowing that they need to research.
