2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT

Hey man I've got an '05 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT, with the 5EMT like yours. Looks exactly like yours, doesn't have a spoiler but has the hood scoop. I was wondering if you could tell a novice what to modify first? My car is completely stock and I want to make her sound deeper, have better control, and in general have a badass sounding car haha. I live in Montana, so I don't think there are any restrictions for my exhaust system choices, but I don't know what to do. Thanks for any help you could give

You should stop trying to drive it like a 5MT :) its a 5EAT and it is perfect for staying in BOOST :) Nice wheels love the black on white and I dig the spool what UP and DP you running ?

@FRkevin I'm going with a Blouch 20gXTR which is a Garrett Ball Bearing or the Blouch Dominator 1.5 xtr so I can keep my low end and mid range torque and have some improved topend.

My current vF 52 set up since it's now built up with BC cams and valve Springs etc and port and polish work to heads .I'm just foing vavlvebody for now to keep from blowing tranny .. Let me know of any thoughts !!

@VF52LGT its ok for daily.. soon as the fuel system is done ill post new vids. as far as the vf52.. with your mods it would be a waste. go bigger.. i would suggest an fp red or similar or at minimum a large 20g

stop being cheap and get an hks ssq blow off valve please. do it for the car, the intake feedback is not appealing to the charcter of the car.

@buddy82767 I run a GFB blowoff valve which run around $375... nothing crazy expensive.. Rather run that than a leaky HKS.

I bow down before you man, I just bought myself the '05 Subaru Legacy GT, 5EAT transmission as well. Loving this car so far and she's a virgin right now, what you've done to your car is killing me haha, hope to be at that point someday. First upgrade for me is going to be that K&N Typhoon intake. Stock gov is set at 136mph.. essentially the same cars. Plus to the legacy is they have more luxury to them. I love subies.. but when I sit in a WRX I feel like I'm in a focus

@arcticmsrock If you have the money go adtr for a blower option. Besides that Bolt ons are just gonna make you sound better. Remember it is possible to rice out a V8. Miss my marauder.

I love this video. Last night me and my friend were in his legacy stage 2 and we were complianing about never finding anyone to race, and right after we see this white legacy with black rims almost like yours behind us so we take off at the light and he raced us for like 20 minutes, full on going 100 mph down main streets with him passing us, biggest adreneline rush ever. after we stopped at a light we asked about his car and he said it was stage 3.
