I think the reason why I hated Halo was because I played Reach first.... so I decided to buy Halo 3 off eBay today for only £3.44 so im well chuffed :) also im going to get ODST as that looks pretty damn good as well ;) , so if I enjoy them im going to re-buy Reach and give it another chance :)

I can honestly say that halo 2 and 3 was a massive leap for online fps console games. And jeff is a fucking amazing reviewer i wish they didn't fire him. And forge is the most groundbreaking thing i have seen this generation. Amazing fucking gametypes and maps made by people.

I too like the brute vs elite thing but they kept that in halo 3 just purely in cutscenes I still liked halo 3's story equally to halo 1 and 2 but halo reach or odst not so much

i meen i thought halo 2 story is way better, besides the ending, the weird thing is that i liked the blood fued between the elites an the brutes in halo 2 but they just droped that, i meen i wouldnt mind if they added a bit more cut scence to expand the story but i thing halo 3 combat is awsome, oh and what happened to the assult rifle, it has 32 rounds, the original had 60, and for some reason the decreased the rounds within the weapon and some how that makes it better

Now that's true...

The Halo 1's Pistol was just perfect... Nice Look, Effect, Sound and aim.

Halo 2 still had that look, sound, but less effect and didn't have the sniping aim. But as you had the dual weapon it was still a good combination.

Halo 3's pistol just sucked. It looked like a brick, cool sound effect and all but it was only effective at Grunts.

Halo ODST's Pistol was just as kick ass as Halo 1's. But the sound was not that powerfull.
