Unfortunatley grunge is not back. the way music is it will never be back and that is sad because of all the shit thats out these say....like paramore... what happened to band like the toadies.......Good shit Violent soho yet another none american band showing us how it shou be done..
@MuseSnare violent soho is on sonic youth's Thurston Moore's record label. to really bring grunge back, we'd need a couple more bands like this to start out, then you'd need a youth following to start getting the attitude and start dressing grunge like and whatever i dunno. in my opinion, this is a start. thats what it is. funny you mentioned paramore lol they're on the radio right now
@MuseSnare ummm...you should become a psychic or something. I disagree on grunge comeing back though. Look at The Darkness...they revitalized 70s rock...so why can't we see a grunge resurgence?
@russelgman Man, if you can make the trip, come down to Milwaukee where I'm going to see them. They're at The Rave/Eagles Club. Admission is only $10.21 (FM 102.1 Radio station sponsored) so even considering about $3-4 on gas both ways, it's well worth it. They're opening for Crash Kings. It's on Valentine's day. You'd probably love the Rave because it screams punk and is a good setting for grunge. (I saw Alice In Chains there...WOW!)
@russelgman Well if you come into town, there are a lot of cheap fast food joints you could eat at, and you might actually find something else to do. Make a day out of it.
I know I've gone to Sci and Industry and made a day out of that. You could go to our public museum maybe idk.
There are things to see and do. If you want, I can suggest somethings.
@russelgman Ah I'm guessing you didn't make the trek.
It was a REALLY loud show.
I was right in front of the speakers and I felt like I was on an acid trip because of all the garbbled static and the feeling like the room was spinning.
@TheBlueResistance To be honest actually I think they are the new Pixies, they will be the one to influence the next Nirvana. I FUCKING LOVE THIS BAND!!
