Kings of Leon released Only by the Night and they didn't know what to expect - the fact that Caleb wanted to scrap Sex On Fire proves that. The album is great!- songs like I Want You and Cold Desert are sheer genius so for everybody who keeps moaning they've swapped their classics for hits shut the FUCK up cause they are brilliant and taking risks is all part of being a great band - and it worked.

There are very few bands that will play their first album when they just released their 4th. Have to realize that bands get sick of playing the same songs over and over. Basically every band wants to play their new stuff. Usually singles and crown favorites will stay. Songs like Fans, Mollys Chambers, On Call, Slow Night So Long, Sex on Fire and Use somebody are songs that are going to stick forever.

They are so AMAZING live! their cds are all great but this live version shows how truyly great they are... "slow she's burnin' in your with whispers in you ear" compare this 2008 performance to the original cd YAYM from 2003!!! so much better.... Calebs vocals, always great, are showcased in this song... I love his vocals! Every CD is an improvement on the last... But this live perfermance shows that KOL are the real thing, the Best Band in the world.
