is there much of a power loss with the varex mufflers when closed?

You aren't supposed to drive around with them closed it adds damaging back pressure to the engine.

But apart from that it wouldn't be too much. Exhaust on NA V8 don't add a lot of power anymore as the stock ones are pretty good at what they do. But full thing on open would be lucky to make an extra 15kw

@shakybones007 They arent completely closed off, they have a small gap on the side of the muffler so that you get no back pressure...

how does yours sit mate? how low is ur car? i got 20's on mine and my guards are sitting on the wheels and got the same exhaust and at the end mine sits 75mm off the ground at the back!! i think he's installed it wrong and can lift the exhaust up??

hey mate, just wondering how much just the dual 3inch exhaust in stainless with the Varex remote control muffler set you back??? Sounds and looks crazy!

the extractors are xforce 1inch 5/8th step up into 1inch 3/4 xforce hiflow cats duel 3inch exhaust but the diffrence is i have the varex muffles on they are the remote control ones costs a bit more but worth in they sound so much better than sports ones and on quiet mode like stock sound again but with a little more note to it.
