  • Salut Philippe !!what's up?Bizz de Martine Lecomte Poitiers....Tu es toujours BAD!!!!

  • Great playing!! :) i think i have asked you before, but what is the harmonizer called? :)

  • Hi,

    This is an old harmonizer Digitech DHP55.

    You play trombone ?

    Philippe

  • Thank you Philippe :) Yes, I´m a jazztrombone-player from North of Norway. If you check out my videos you can hear me play. I havent played trombone that much since 2002, i´m mostly into bass guitar and studio engineering. But I´m planning to pick up the trombone again, make a record and play concerts. So a harmonizer would be perfect for that kind of events :) I´m working with a solo-CD right now... Kind of hard to play 6 trombone voices at the same time live!

  • So... Can you program every note on the DPH55? F.eks to play a B13 when you play a D? I asked TC Helicon about this and none of their harmonizer were able to.

  • Yes,

    rectification : You play a D, DHP55 plays a B flat13. Not B13.

    Programmation is : (H1 = bass harmony etc...)

    H1 = Bb bass H2 = Ab (seventh) H3 = C (ninth)

    H4 = D (what you play) H5 = G (thirteenth)

    2ond Chord playing after Bb13, for example Eb9

    H1= Eb bass H2 = G (third = tenth) H3 = Bb (fifth) H4 = Db (seventh. What you play) H5 = F (ninth)

    Observation : you must to create a sort of voices-conduct to have something logical.

    So, good work. See You

    Philippe

  • Hi Cousin!!! Nice to meet you in youtube!!! Hope u feel good!! See u,,, Bernard,,,

  • how does it know?

  • I play with Harmonizer and a foot-switch. Fsw is up:the sound is natural. Fsw is down:harmonizer pays.

    When, for exemple, I play a "D", harmonizer analyze and plays for me 5 notes together (a chord) with trombone sound. Here, the note "D" says to play a Bb13 chord. "Db" says to play a Eb9 chord. The chords are programmed note by note. F.ex : when I play "D", programmation on harmonizer is : Harm1=Bb,double-down Harm2=Ab down Harm3=C up Harm4=G up.

    Are you musician ? from where ?

    Philippe

  • Thanks for clarification!
