    Causes chronic disease: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19232475

I wonder why these studies did not show up in your searches...hmmm. However these conflicting findings in all these studies proves to me that I am doing well not to, like a child, wait for others to tell me how to eat. I look, as an adult, at the matter for myself. Peace.

  • @QuantumOverlord Just let me know if you want more studies to suggest the major health risks to you and your children from cow's milk. There are TONS of them. In the meantime, I would seriously check out the China Study findings watch?v=yfsT-qYeqGM as the quickest way to get up to speed. Powerful stuff! For me, I would not even sniff cow's milk. • @QuantumOverlord Thanks for the links; I'll have a look. Of course the chance of me ever putting cow's milk into my mouth again is very very skim...I mean slim ;) The whole practice looks foreign and sickening to me now.

In the meantime, I would recommend the China Study; if not the book, then at least start with this presentation by the lead researcher on the project: watch?v=yfsT-qYeqGM It doesn't look good for folks who continue consuming milk....

  • @FathomlessJoy Ive been running around on pubmed and found several more studies, nearly all of them suggest that milk is beneficial. Including Milk promoting oral health, decrease in breast cancer, ischemic heart diseases and strokes. Having said that there do exist studies which show negitive effect, however these are far outweighed by the +ve ones, perhaps 5 fold. Conclusion from looking at Pubmed: Milk is not harmful in any way, and may have slight benefits for those that drink it.

  • @QuantumOverlord You ever figure out, if milk is so good for bones, why the US produces, promotes, and consumes more dairy than any nation on Earth, yet has the highest rate of bone cancer and osteoporosis of any nation? Any of your articles shed some light on that? LOL You have been seriously misinformed. It does seem, however, that you are very skilled at finding links to studies that support your biased, pre-drawn conclusions.

  • @QuantumOverlord Also, every link I tried from those you posted is broken, so not sure what is up with that.

Here are some articles from Pubmed that are not so flattering about milk; this way we won't be mistaken for biased trolls:

Cow's milk harmful to infants: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21921812

Cow's milk potentially harmful to humans: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2236098

    Cow's milk toxins: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22015550

Cow's milk linked to infant diabetes: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21922634

  • ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17329264

  • I am not sure why anyone would want to drink milk. After all, it has many toxins and healthy substances in it. The kicker tho is that it is loaded with pus and blood. So, when you drink raw milk, although it is all the rave, you are drinking all that pus and blood without being sterilized or neutralized in any way. Of course even with pasteurization it is still very unhealthy, but drinking un-treated pus, that would make me puke.

  • @FathomlessJoy Pasturasiation kills all the harmful pathogens in milk, there is no danger from drinking the pus provided it has been pasteurised.

  • @QuantumOverlord Ever wonder why the nation that produces, promotes, and consumes the most dairy in the world, also has the highest rate of bone cancer and osteoporosis in the world?

Ever wonder why some humans can never wean from mother's milk, which is why they have to steal it from calves they torture?

Ever wonder how many people would drink milk if they had to suck it straight from the mother's teets, and torture and slaughter the young calves themselves?

    Got lies?

  • @FathomlessJoy Pick up a science text book and look up confounding variables, Control variables, Fair testing, Randomised control Trials, and the Scientific method. A quick taster from me first though, you cannot use correlations as evidence unless your system controls all other variables which in this case it doesn't. People In Europe Keep more cats on average, they have high rates of cancer, therefore Cats cause Cancer. See the problem with the above?

  • @QuantumOverlord Ah, a man of science. What you want is evidence; I see. Perhaps you will get evidence from the meat and dairy industry. I suggest you may have to wait for a long, long time.

The problem with your argument is that it prevents action, it lets one live in blindness and ignorance, never to see things as they are, never taking direct action. I do not need a scientist to tell me sucking milk from a mother cow's teets while torturing her and her calf is unhealthy, unatural and wrong.

  • @QuantumOverlord Smoke em if ya got em!! I think you should start smoking. See there has never been direct proof that smoking is addictive nor that it causes any of many diseases it has been associated with: lung cancer, throat cancer, emphysema, heart disease, etc, etc, etc. Therefore, so says your logic, it must be healthy and safe. And yet the tobacco barrons settled with the government for billons of dollars for lying for decades about those very things. Still there's no proof......

  • @FathomlessJoy There is plenty of evidence that smoking is harmful, but that is only because the effect of smoking is so large that it renders the other variables insignificant, and we have 50 years worth of data on smoking and we understand the science of how tobacco interacts with human biology. Also with smoking doing a direct comparison is possible since the other variables could be controlled somewhat by taking a large sample size. The impact milk drinking has however is very small if any.

  • @QuantumOverlord But there's no proof smoking causes any disease; it could be that smokers have hair or they have fingernails or like your favorite example/excuse they own cats.

See, there's sufficiently strong evidence that milk is harmful, strong enuf for educated, concerned persons like me to stop drinking it. But even those scientists and doctors who show the evidence agree there is no absolute proof. I don't have to wait for proof. The proof is in my mind, heart, and body.

    Puff puff!

  • @FathomlessJoy No there is Evidence that smoking is harmful like I have said, over the last few decades there hhave been inumerable low quality studies on Smoking, while some higher quality studies would be ideal, the sheer vast quantity of material of smoking makes the facts undenable. Compare this to what you are suggesting which are coralations on a continental scale! These are not even studies, you have to have some kind of control, at the very least a direct comparision between 2 samples

  • @QuantumOverlord Ah, but Mr. Scientist, you are confusing evidence with proof. Just as there is a plethora of evidence that suggests that both smoking and milk consumption are harmful, there is no proof that either cause any disease at all.

Sorry for teasing, but I get these types of circular arguments a lot ;)

  • @FathomlessJoy Incidently thank you for a nice discussion without any unpleasantness (I get it alot on YT :P). I use the term evidence because nothing can be 100% proven, I would consider something to be proven 'beyond reasonable doubt' if there was a massive amount of evidence for it, for example smoking where there is a huge quantity of evidence for it being harmful, as for milk, there have been a few studies, of which only a minority suggest milk is harmful, and most are low quality.

  • @QuantumOverlord Actually, the most comprehensive nutritional study in human history showed mounds of evidence that milk was harmful. Proof? Nope. Even the scientists who conducted the study for more than 2 decades with tens of thousands of subjects, admit there there is no 100% proof. Was there enough evidence, however, for reasonable persons to take a close look at their consumption of a substance that is presented as not only safe but a perfect type health food? I say yes; perhaps you say no.

  • @FathomlessJoy Check my next comment for a list of studies that suggest a +ve effect, most of the studies I have looked on PubMed suggest Similarly Positive effects. Quite a few suggest neutral effects of milk, and only a small number suggest negitive effects.

  • In 2003, Rockefeller wrote on page 405 of his book..."Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, conspiring with others around the world to build a one world (government). If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

  • In Louisiana, it is illegal to buy raw milk, except of course if you are Kleinpeter Farms. These guys buy raw milk, I guess because they promise to pasteurize it. What if I want to buy raw milk and pasteurize it myself? Then, how would that make me different from Kleinpeter Farms?

  • So I should boil at 120 degree's all the natural veggitable juice that I make at home or I'll soon die of some food born veggi disease? yeah right.

  • Is raw milk cheese sold at whole foods stores just as effective as raw milk sold at local farms?

They have to wait 60 days to kill all the germs in the raw milk before its sold in stores. When do they do this, does it take out any of the nutrients in the milk?

  • I buy raw milk illegally!!!! I'm crazy!

  • My family has drank raw milk most of our lives. My brother and I grew up delivering milk to customers. I believe there has been problems with people getting sick from raw milk, but I have never heard of a confirmed case in my life. I still have a milk cow and would not consider living the rest of my life drinking the watered down stuff sold in the markets.

  • Look outside of youtube for a change. Look at nationwide statistics. They tell a very different story.

Picking out people that say THEY'VE never been sick is cherry picking. You only listen to the people you want to believe, but you never take the next step and look at the other side.

Since you don't seem to look past youtube, try C0nc0rdance. He has a video about raw milk, too.

  • How much do you think milk would cost if it was always going bad before it could be sold? And here in Hawaii, there isn't much space for farmland. It has to be shipped here. Longer shelf life is VERY important to us.

  • @JesterAzazel I feel for you. Your options are probably few with a lot of different foods.

  • BTW, What's with people throwing the government into this? Why would they care if your milk is heated up to kill bacteria? And how will this make me "lose my health"?

Truth is, pasteurization isn't a government plot, it's a way to decrease your chance of getting sick and increase shelf life, making it cheaper for us and more profitable for those providing it.

  • All Milk is bad.

  • Each year 1000s of people die in US from consuming Raw Milk. Raw milk contains Anthrax, Herpes as well as the HIV virus. If not pasteurized it will kill your children, it will kill your bird, dog and kitty and it will kill you. Babies who drink breast milk have either low IQ or die of infection. The safest thing for you is cigarette. Cigarettes are legal, FDA approved, available at all groceries because its so healthy and contains no germs and its great for your health.

  • @fuckvegan

    lol

  • My sources are reviewed by professionals that have nothing to gain from lying. I don't just read whatever garbage I find on the internet without checking it out first.

  • @JesterAzazel

I do believe you just got your assets kicked.

Now piss off you little coodie.

  • @TheMinistryOfDefense

Did I? You're the one that started childishly ranting about my mother and various other things. You're the one that got PWNED and you know it.

  • @JesterAzazel

    Nope, you got spanked.

Your mom was just a casualty.

  • @TheMinistryOfDefense

Lol, believe whatever you want. Makes no difference to me.

  • @JesterAzazel When you've been lied to a thousand times by official government sources, you must become a little skeptical, otherwise you will end up losing your health, my friend. Just take a look at the various videos on raw milk and see what people who actually drink raw milk experience. Are they always catching diseases and dying?

  • @Tomkins10

    Peer review FTW.

Raw milk doesn't cause disease or death, it causes vomiting and diarrhea and makes one very contagious.

I could make a video about how I walk across the street without getting hit, wouldn't change the overall numbers.

  • @JesterAzazel About the 'official' govt sources stories I don't have space to talk about it here but just try being skeptical and you will soon start seeing the lies. About raw milk causing vomiting and diarrhea, do you not see other videos where people have been drinking it for years and swearing by it. The lady in the video above stated that 95% of farmers drink raw milk. Do you think any of these people would recommend it if it were causing diarrhea?

  • @Tomkins10

First of all, like I said before, anecdotes of a few people on youtube don't change the overall numbers. If I said I walked across the street without looking for traffic and I didn't get hit, would you assume it's safe?

The gov has nothing to do with it. Peer reviewed scientific papers are written by scientists, NOT the government.

  • @Tomkins10

As for the farmers that drink raw milk, they drink it fresh. They still get sick from it sometimes, but not as often as people that have to get it after it's been shipped and has sat on a shelf waiting to be bought.

Again, shelf life is important to places where there are no nearby farms. Like Hawaii.

  • @JesterAzazel I agree, I don't allow my kids to touch our home grown milk past day 4. After that I will use it for yoghurt. By day 5 I consider it no good for drinking or using in any form.

  • @Tomkins10 Usually if a person is getting sick from raw milk it's a cleanliness issue. If the cows are not kept sutably clean before milking and healthy then you will pick up numerous different bacteria that our systems cannot handle.

  • I'd LOVE to know where you get your bullshit info..

Mine comes from peer reviewed articles. Scrutinized and thoroughly tested by the most skeptical minds in the medical field..

And if you know anything about the peer review process, you know that people don't generally get by on bull shit claims..

  • I used to drink raw milk from the farm and it is much better before it gets pasturized..

  • They sell cigarettes in almost every store, which kill 400,000

people a year. But they want to protect you from Raw Milk

because 120 people died? What's wrong with that picture?

Now you know something deceptive is going on. And if you do

some research you will find E. Coli can not exist in raw milk,

because raw milk kills all viruses and "bad bacterias" Nature's

way of protecting the new born.

Conclusion? Gov. Sponsored Genocide of, ...you.

  • @TheMinistryOfDefense

Calves are safe because they drink it strait from the teet.. It comes out sterile and bacteria gets in because of nearby cow shit..

Raw milk kills SOME bacteria and viruses.. Not all..

Doing the research is half the battle, checking to see if your source is legitimate is the other half..

I agree that it's a little strange that you can buy cigs and not raw milk.. But that's more of an argument against cigs than it is for raw milk..

  • @JesterAzazel

Cows roll around in their own dung, yet the calf can nurse a dung stain teet and not get ill. Raw milk will even kill bad bacteria in your stomach. Yes, Raw Milk kills some not all bacteria, true, it leaves the good bacteria alone.

Quote: "I agree that it's a little strange that you can buy cigs and not raw milk.. But that's more of an argument against cigs than it is for raw milk"

Reply: No Dumascas, it's an expose on the crooked corrupt filthy FDA.

  • @TheMinistryOfDefense

Yea, a calf won't get ill from rolling around in it.. But we're not baby cows, are we?

Also, calves drink strait from the teet, BEFORE the bacteria is introduced..

"leaves good bacteria alone" "kills bad bacteria"

WRONG. The bacteria from cow shit thrives in milk.. And that's the kind of bacteria that makes you violently eject fluids from both ends and makes you very contagious..

There are different strains of e-coli, dipshit.

  • @JesterAzazel

Your every word is a filthy lie, much like your mom on her wedding day, the gold digging harlot she was, but your father deserved her, he was a murderer from the start and the father of lies, a disgusting vile disgrace and embarrassment to God, was Azazel, that putrid pig vomit swill on my shoe.

  • @TheMinistryOfDefense

Lol, you really don't like being wrong, do you?

    Have a nice day, sir.

  • @JesterAzazel

"Lol, you really don't like being wrong, do you?"

Which is why I check my facts first.

  • @TheMinistryOfDefense

Fact checking is half the battle. Making sure your source is legit is the other half.

  • @JesterAzazel

Yeah, and you probably still try to sell people the 'official' 911 story.

My sources are legit. Yours come from the sons of gold digging harlots who sit around in "Think Tanks" dreaming up criminally insane tricks, and still get caught by people under the influence of fluoride, because centuries of inbreeding has handicapped your disgusting puppet masters.

  • @TheMinistryOfDefense

Considering how many baseless assumptions you make, how can anyone trust a word you say?

Keep hurling insults. It doesn't make your argument any more valid. You are dishonest and immature.

As I've already explained, my sources are more legit. You can keep reading your conspiracy nut job theories but no one in their right mind will take you serious.

  • farmers drink it raw cause you would have to be idiot having own milk and not drinking instead going to store and spend money on something you have avaible at no additional cost

  • There are practical risks associated with drinking raw milk. There are no practical risks to it. It isn't harmless; it doesn't affect you alone. Because when you get infected by milk-borne bacterial or viral infections, you can spread it to others.

Pasteurization kills the pathogens in milk. In supporting the raw milk movement, you're undermining scientific discoveries that have saved an indeterminate but significant number of human lives.

  • @Arcaani ...you're a liar, and filthy in the eyes of gOd.

  • @TheMinistryOfDefense You're right, I did say something untrue. "There are no practical risks to it," I said. I meant to say "There are no practical benefits to it."

Thanks for helping me clear that up, Christian person!

And if I was wrong about anything else, I'm sure you'll cite sources for your claims. Thanks for reading!

  • @Arcaani

    Like you sourced your claims?

Don't bother, we know you disgusting disinfo dung on God's plate love to create dummy web sites full of disinfo, all paid for via our laundered tax dollars. Do us all a favor and stick your service revolver in your mouth.

  • @TheMinistryOfDefense "stick your service revolver in your mouth"

Live and let live, turn the other cheek, huh? Only pertains to fellow Christians? Stay classy!

  • @Arcaani

    Who says I'm a Christian?

And if you were more well read and less ignorant,

you'd know when he returns, it's no more Mr. Nice Guy.

According to the bible anyway, try reading it B4U lecture.

  • @Arcaani Sorry that's just plain inaccurate. I live in California where you can buy raw milk in supermarkets. I've been drinking it everyday for two years now and have never gotten sick. I can't say the same thing about in n out burger. It's been legal here for 10 years now ENTIRELY without incident. Your basing your inflammatory rhetoric on conjecture and not science. Science is the process of experimentation and observation. We've experimented with raw milk for 10 years without incident.

  • @skullnkross NO, science is not about testing, science is about controlled tests. In other words anicdotal evidence = NOT evidence. This is not the scientific method. Raw milk contains pathogens such as TB that has a very small chance of being transmitted to humans, although the probablity is small, why take the risk. If alot of people drink raw milk someone will either harbour or become ill with such a pathogen. The risk is not worth it. Incidently there is no evidence that raw milk ishealthier

  • @QuantumOverlord Look up the definition of science kid. Raw milk has been sold in California for the past 10 years selling about 100,000 bottles every WEEK. SInce then their have been ABSOLUTELY no cases of tuberculosis. Get your facts straight.

  • @skullnkross "SInce then their have been ABSOLUTELY no cases of tuberculosis."

Right. You know, you can look these figures up, e.g. at the CDPH's website.

If my arithmetic is correct, there have been 28620 cases of tuberculosis in California in 2001 through 2010. Last I checked, 0 < 28620.

Granted, the figures don't specify how people have been infected. I just wanted to address the whole "Get your facts straight" thing.

  • Raw milk, pasteurized milk, you all need to grab a beer and chill.

  • where i live there is no raw milk.

i already know the difference between pasteurized milk and sterilized milk

but i drank a lot of sterilized milk as a child.

Now i would drink raw milk but where do i buy it. I have to emigrate (from sicily).

I guess the alleged problems with milk come from post harvesting treatment which are always realted to the persons doing it and their intelligence and sensibility 8also sensitivity..)

    I want raw milk!!!!!

  • i live in pennsylvania and currently i make a special trip of 15 miles to get my raw milk.

i googled 'raw milk' to find my source. i pay 8 dollars per gallon.

    my body loves it.

to quote Louis Pasteur; "the terrain is everything"

    thanks for the video.

  • Raw milk kills viruses, thus it is impossible for raw milk to give people botulism, it was all a lie, the 6 people who supposedly died, causing the law to be created, ...all a lie. Do you really think they care about 6 of you dying, when they sell you every conceivable cancer causing agent on the planet? What ? Don't like what I just wrote spook? Your puppet masters will abandon you to die with your victims.

  • And people wonder why children in America get allergies, reach puberty faster, and have high instances of osteoporosis. They're all from the growth hormones and genetically modified food they feed the cows that winds up in our milk. And the cows would die from the food if they weren't given antibiotics to stay alive which we also end up drinking.

  • How funny that in America, the country that claims to be the haven of freedom, we have to *fight* to drink something as simple as raw milk. Governments treat it as if it were a class 1 drug.

  • @takadi Insanity isn't it. And it's insane that folks still believe the FDA while poisons line the shelves in your grocery store and pharmacy. Makes absolutely no sense!

  • The StarTribune is now demonizing a local Minnesota raw milk farmer. I believe the gov and the media are now engaging in propaganda in the name of GMO.

  • Love raw milk - that's all I drink! I'm 63 and super healthy. I do everything I did when I was 20/30/ etc

Iwould never ever drink the "crap" they sell as milk in stores - that makes people sick more often than drinking raw milk - the manufacturers make a lot of money on milk and they do NOT want you to stop buying it from them - duh...

  • FDA is trying to erode away more health freedoms. If somone wants raw milk from God's nature, they should be able to get it. FDA is banning all raw milk.

  • Milk from non-human animal species isn't good for the human body in any state.

  • @peachdreaming

Tell this to my grandmother who lived till 98 drinking raw milk all her live.

And tell that to all people who don't have grocery stores or money to buy food, but have their own cows for milk.

Use your brain a little bit. People have been drinking raw milk throughout the history of mankind. But it should come from cows raised properly: breathing fresh air and feed with grass free of chemicals.

The improper treatment of animals is what makes the milk bad for humans.

  • I heard milk that will be pasturized isn't cared for like milk that will be sold raw.

  • i grew up drinking raw milk the fact that i grew up in Ethiopia where every is organic and raw! i now live here in the USA and i just can not get used to drinking pasteurized milk, the taste is very different i also think its unhealthy! even the organic one! so i think we need to change how provide foods to the consumers here in the USA! big time!

  • The dairy industry is an extension of the beef industry, which means it plays a major role in creating climate change. The dairy industry uses cows before passing them on to be slaughtered by the beef industry which is now recognized as an environmental nightmare. According to a UN report, "cows are contributors to climate change. Accounting for putting out 18% of the world's CO2, cows emit more greenhouse gases than cars, planes, and all other forms of transportation combined."

  • @emmj dude this is a discussion about raw milk, post your global warming brainwashing material somewhere else.

  • @emmj

This is true in the case of mega dairies. But those won't sell raw milk for nothing in the world since their cows are sick and the milk filthy, full of puss and bacteria. That's why they HAVE to pasteurize.

Raw milk is sold by small farmers. Their cows don't produce any harm: no climate change, no air and water pollution.

Get your education from the right places. Media and our government work for corporations, don't expect to inform you or protect you in any way.

  • I would be grateful to know why humans are the only mammals on Earth that have to insist on this mistake, namely drinking milk (raw or industrialised which are produced mostly by animals that evolutionarily speaking have little to do with homo sapiens, which not only is environmentally unsustainable, but also nutritiously fallacious. Cow milk is naturally designed to feed calf, not humans, let alone children.

  • @emmj

    "Mistake" is your own opinion.

Humans have been eating plants, seeds, nuts, fruits, eggs, meat, fish, whatever was available to them to survive. Products were developed, such cheeses from milk, jams from fruits, etc...etc.

If you don't want to drink milk, fine, but don't tell others the milk is nutritiously fallacious. It is NOT!!! Fallacious are the methods use these days by corporations to raise the animals and treat the final product.

  • i would like to see the source for the 95% statistic

  • So the contamination must mean that humans should be weened from milk and get the calcium and all other vitamins and minerals from where all grazing animals get theres. PLANTS What's the matter human don't know how to live on just plant food. Cows can pigs can. And you call them a lesser intelligent animal than yourself. My guess is humans need to wean off of animals. Look at yourselves still eating meat in this day and age. Why did your mother ween you from her. Huh? Grow up and away.

  • uhm, that's an ignorant argument

  • i live in the upstate new york which at one time was largely dairy farming...i worked on a dariy farm in high school...ALL the farmers and their familys drank raw milk...ALL of them..not some of them .. ALL . Time to move out of the dark ages again and realize that pasteurizing and homogonizing milk is wrong..and i was in the food business for 30 years and have seen first hand how the food in this country has gone downhill proportionally to the increase in disease.

  • Went to the web site...no info about raw milk.

This whole thing is a tease to get you to pay Heidi.

  • the only real reason we dont drink raw milk is the antibiotics the cows r filled with

  • @twicon

Thanks for spilling your misinformation into this forum. The antibiotics are heavily monitored. One treated cow in an entire transport truck will be detected and dumped, at the offending farmer's expense! This has nothing to do with pasteurization.

Thanks again. Everybody's just a bit stupider for having read your post.

  • @CommentClown,because their heavily monitored the drugs they use is undetectable and get more advanced as the tests get.. its like doping and anti-doping tests

  • Others who drink raw milk? BABY COWS... All dairy farmers know that calves raised on pasteurized milk do not grow or mature properly.

  • @livinglandsfarm

I like for you to site where you get that fact. A paper published by the Bovine Alliance on Management and Nutrition (which is an amalgamation of representatives from the American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP), American Dairy Science Association (ADSA), American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA))

say, "Pasteurized milk is an economical and highly nutritious liquid feed for calves." They DO reach maturity as well.

  • @livinglandsfarm

I'm not a baby cow. Your argument it moot.

  • @livinglandsfarm Can you tell me how long baby cows drink milk and why later they eat grass? Why ADULT humans should drinking milk (any kind) ALL life?

Human baby will get milk from mother up to 2 years. What other specie is drinking milk ALL life?

  • @krecikowi Every dog and cat I ever owned readily lapped up any milk put in their bowls, even into their old age. If a dog or cat had the intelligence to figure out how to milk a cow, it would. I also raise cattle, and it's the mother that weans the calf. Mothers that refused to wean the calf on my farm have had calves that would continue to drink until the cow became very thin and we had to finally separate the two. You ought to spend time on a farm.

  • @krecikowi As a matter of fact, I have seen both dogs and cats following a pregnant mother cow around when she was leaking milk. They will continue to lick at the udders, lapping up as much milk as possible. I had no intervention in that. I have also seen other cows lick at the leaking udder. Your logic is one of ignorance. Mothers wean the young because the milk consumption of an adult animal is too taxing on the mother's reserves. The baby does not wean itself, as you suggested.

  • @livinglandsfarm Good thing human beings have exactly the same dietary requirements as baby fucking cows! Hurrr

  • @icantfindanamex86 Hahahahaha!

  • @livinglandsfarm

I didn't grow properly through puberty because of pasteurized milk my whole life. I'm 20 years old and my bones are still lacking calcium and nutrients.

  • Law keeps pasturized milk at 150,000 microbes per million. That means you are drinking cooked blood and Manure! Yes it's dead now, but you are still consuming it's cellular body's which are still seen as foreign to the body. You'll get upset stomach, runs etc. Plus Lactose is turned into Beta Lactose = Even harder to digest for some.

Law keeps Raw Milk at 1,200 microbes per million. Very strict and and alot cleaner.

However, YOu must be familiar w/your farmer!

  • @cownuttz70 Raw milk consitutes 56% of milk-borne outbreaks when it only stands for 1% of the milk consuption. That is 44 times as much as one would expect if raw milk were of equal risk as pasteurized milk.

  • @Rikarth of course consumers need to know their farmers. There is a farm that just got certified organic raw in Pa. and apparently is not that clean. They don't wash the cows etc. I don't understand how that happens. Now, in defense of your comment. I drink 4-5 gallons a week for over a year now and have had no problems.

  • @cownuttz70 the cows udder doesnt have any germs or anything in it its sterile and cant hurt you! your stupid

  • @hahahaha2241 You might want to read a book.

  • @hahahaha2241

Right, it comes out sterile, but bacteria gets in it after it's out, and it doesn't take long..

  • @cownuttz70 By definition isn't everything consumed considered foreign to your body? That's why we forms antibodies right? My body doesnt produce apples, and it never experience them until the first time I ate one, at that point it learned what an apple is. So what specifically is it about these dead microbes that are so bad, and give you an upset stomach. I would think a harmful bacteria is not so, when its dead? I drink pasteurized milk and dont seam to have the runs or an upset stomach.

  • @cownuttz70 Animal Milk is Poison!! Drink Hemp Milk!! There are better more absorbable sources of calcium!! such as vegetables and coral calcium .. and Gluten is Poison as well..!!!!

  • Love Raw Milk! Amazing taste and amazing post workout drink. My father and uncle was raised on raw milk. They are all very healthy with my grandfather being 92 and still farming like he is in his 30's.

Also, if you seen John and Cait plus 8 reality show. She takes the kids to a farm where they milk and drink the milk raw.

Why change nature? Earth Fed nutrition = health, Man Fed nutrition = obesity, diabetes and heart disease!

  • There are MANY other ways to get the same health benefits besides RAW MILK... No matter how clean and safe you think your farmer is the fact is YOU NEVER know for sure that there is no deadly bacteria in your milk... the poop comes out INCHES from where the milk comes out! I was almost KILLED by raw milk. and I know personally several other people who almost lost their children. IT IS NOT WORTH THE RISK. Hormones, antibiotics and other crap can be avoided by simply NOT DRINKING MILK PERIOD.

  • Yes but milk is part of the traditional diet of Europe, the middle east, India, places in africa etc.. It is a popular part of our diet. Shit milk will be shit for you which is what 95% of people drink. Pasturisation makes it less digestibale, skimming makes it worse for you. I don't really like milk anyomre and don't drink it much. But a while ago I tried raw milk and it was delicious, normally milk gives me acne, but this raw milk did not. Thats what most people drank here in UK before 1950s

  • When you talk about FRESH raw milk being dangerous because it comes out NEAR where the cow poops... You are imagining the old days of the milking BUCKET. Today's practice of using clean, maintained modern milking equipment -direct to the udder, of course- UDDERLY (ha ha) eliminates the dirty milk bucket scare tactic. As for "hormones and antibiotics", who the hell were ya buying yer milk from? NO ONE should drink milk- PASTEURIZED or NOT- from cows that aren't healthy, drug-FREE and GRASS-FED!!!

  • Many millions of gallons of raw milk are consumed annually in the U.S. and there have been no outbreaks of disease whatsoever.

  • I live in NYC, does anyone know where I can find raw organic milk? I was in California recently and tried it and was amazed at how good I felt...

  • pasteurize that hoe!!!!!!

  • As long as I can get MY raw milk...I don't care what the rest of the world does. Too many people on the planet already - can't save them all.

People have thrived on fresh "raw" milk in Europe and elsewhere for 6000 years. Only in the last 100 has milk been made "safe" by pasteurization. Figure it out.

  • But on the other hand, how can it be healthy for me to drink milk that was intended for a 200lb. baby? Baby cow drinks mama cows milk and grows to be 1000lb. bull. Foget it. I'm never drinking milk again! I'll just eat my home grown veggies!

  • I'm 17 and have been drinking raw milk since I was 2. I've only had two ear infections, no other sickness. How is raw milk bad? I'm healthy! We grow our own veggies too. Is that bad?

  • pasturized milk will make u sick and no benifit. Raw milk is good for you.

  • UK suppliers???

Have u have any experience with raw milk if so what are the benefits?

  • Drink it raw for gods sake.

    It is liquid sunshine !!!!

  • farmers also live a lot longer on average, coincidence..... I think not

  • So people that drink raw milk from healthy cows (grass fed, no drugs, no injections, fresh air, farm where the cows have lots of room to move around) don't get sick and people that drink pasteurized milk get sick and have many other problems. AND THE GOVERNMENT HAS MADE RAW MILK ILLEGAL IN CANADA.....this needs to change NOW, before people in the government start getting shot by civilians

  • Check out Sally Fallon (I think that's how you spell Fallon)

  • Get Don Tolmans FDR. It has all the answers . . . .

  • Thanks for the tip! Got cows?

  • Whoa. Lowest I saw it for sale was $90. :( Have to wait until I get some work. I got laid off. :(

  • No cows. I live in a commission flat, but i pay th $8 for raw milk. it is awesome, now im getting onto butter oil and cod liver oil.

  • It's illegal here in the US. I had a connection for 4 bucks a gallon hen I lived in Indiana. Since I've moved I can't get anyone to sell it to me. If H.R. *&% gets passed, the Obama regime will have a felony attached to the sale and use of it!

  • sorry...H.R. 875

  • They sell it here as Bath Milk !

    Aphrodites Bath Milk . . . .

  • No kidding! I wonder if it's available here. If not, maybe it's a good idea for a small farmer to get going!

  • ha i drink cleopatras bath milk ^^

    God bless.

  • Mee too. Make some raw milk butter. Check out weston price ....

  • Check out: realmilk (dot) com. You can find out where to get fresh raw milk across the USA.

  • UK?????

  • Um yes in many london farmers markets, but I dunno whick Sorry! You can get it here more easily than the US tho... the Queen still has it all the time, from her windsor herd!

  • damn...I'm lucky, I get it $3 a gallon here in michigan illegally.

  • Yep. Lucky you. I buy the pasteurized cr@p here for $3.00.

  • Then bee's honey isn't for humans either, right?

  • Why do you feel sorry for me? Cause you don't drink raw milk or eat raw honey?

  • cows milk is shared with humans and there's nothing you can do about it- end of story!

  • I agree with you... we should just all suck on our mommy's titties. I'd much rather be a 40 year old still suckin the good old dust bags than drink from a cow. haha yea right.

  • I would buy that. Any women offering to let me suck their breasts?

  • lol

  • Cows milk or milk from other species is in my opinion not to be taken by humans. I havent drunk any m,ilk for more than fifteen years.

We are humans and the best thing for humans to drink in the line of milk would be human mother's milk. Cows are docile animals who live in herds, following the leader; the head bull. Just walk past a herd of cows and see what I mean; they will follow like sheep...eeh or cows.

  • I however did like raw milk the best, but today in holland, the cows are almost all fed on poison and hormones. Remeber, culture is opposed to nature. I would maybe try to drink the milk from free, natural cows, but they dont exist anymore; we have cultivated them for too long. Any foprm of cultivation is in it's essence a deviation from nature and finite. Nature is infinite. Culture is very finite and temporary. Just think about it.

  • I would drink it raw if I know where to get some...

  • Tammy505:

Google local farmers in your area. Call them and see who has raw milk. Raw goat's milk is the easiest for us humans to digest. It's an acquired taste, but once you try some, suddenly cow's milk feel really heavy and hard to digest.

    Have fun!

    Lulueye

  • Check out Realmilk com for raw milk sources.

  • @tammy505 The Weston A. Price foundation's web site online has listings around the world for raw milk suppliers.

  • @tammy505 i get it from my bff hahaha

  • for all people who read this , the reason they drink it raw is because it does not have all the %^%$ the government requires to have in it before it hits the stores. Raw is always better unless the cow is sick.

  • What is raw milk, and how is it different from pasturised?

  • raw milk straight from the cow dear.
