@pylon39 When I used to train with Cobra up in DC he let us know that while we do tend to play slower, Angoleiro's can play faster and more upright as evidenced by what you see at 1:20. However, what I got out of training Capoeira Angola is the very defensive nature of it, playing fechado(or closed), hence the very small and tight movements as well as playing very low to the ground.

I agree; Regional and Angola, to me, represent two extreme versions of capoeira and the more advanced you get in either, the more you know how to balance between the two styles. Just as a regionalista will be very uncomfortable and restricted when and angolerio plays close to him, beginner angolerios also get scared a little when the aggressive, flashy attacks come their way :D

He's called Calibre on the DVD. That's all I know. On the film there's also a fast, humorous and acrobatic game by mestres Cobra Mansa and Camaleão.
