Watch the damn video or just leave!! No one cares about your stupid opinion which has only criticism in it. If you know better than her then why dont you shoot your own video tutorial on Business Clothing for Men?
Atleast she has put in an effort but if you like to argue then do it with solid facts and findings. Not just commenting on some one else's hard work.
This advice is completely wrong. That outfit looks absolutely hideous. First, you never ever wear two-tone dress shirts. They are an abomination. Second, a tie should add color and a bit of pizazz to a professional look, thus it should not be the same color as the shirt and suit. This woman gives horrible advice and I pray no one follows it.
let's look at the tie - CAN YOU SEE IT - now let's look at the shirt - CAN YOU SEE THAT- now let's look at the suit - CAN YOU SEE IT - now you have a nice tie, (duh - I haven't gotten past 1st grade yet...this is way to complicated) the shirt does not match but it can go together. Thank-you - babahahahah
Hi, I'm afraid I need to disagree here. In an important professional situation I would never recommend a two-tone shirt. Please, stick with white. Also, pattern ties are not good since their impact is hit-or-miss. If the occasion is important, go with a Repp (stripe tie) or matching conservative solid. For example, with either a navy or dark grey suit, a subdued burgandy always looks good. Hope this helps someone. Ron
The first attire shown works, although I genuinely stick away from the two tone because it influences arragance and old age. The second set the tie did not carry on, I would have chosen a yellow silk tie or a blend again.
very basic information here- and I am sure not everyone knew about it. 99% of the time guys have no clue about their skin tone- nor they understand importance of correct knot.. ... lets give her a break and take it for what it is (basic information!)
wow..love the video..Thanks a lot!

to make it easy wear a white shirt and it will match any tie. I suggest wearing a white shirt, blue or black suit with black tie.

The white collar shirt just ruins it...
nmai959 3 years ago
Most French employees wear such collars daily. ;)
It's mostly a matter of taste I guess...
Personally, I dislike those rueles from 'shirt has to fit with this and tie has to fit with that'.
Just do it on feeling, I always say. ;)
