I never wanted the Halo anniversery. It's only a remake of the game I already have, the story never changed. So what it has better graphics? I like new games of Halo, not remakes. Anyone agree?
@MegaSean45 The new games of Halo aren't that great either, I found myself playing Reach a lot less than I played Halo 3, and Anniversary... I haven't even completed the campaign, because I've already completed it on the first game. It's pointless now, Halo should've stopped at Reach rather than going to low levels to make money.
@pivotmaniac10 I played reach's multiplayer more than I played halo 3's multiplayer. But I didn't have that incredible feeling playing Halo Reach. I just had the wonderful time of my life playing Halo 3. I will never forget that. But I do agree with you that they should have stopped after Reach, nobody can make Halo as great as Bungie did. I think (but I REALLY hope they won't) 343 ind. is going to fuck this up.
@pivotmaniac10 Anniversary is the same game as the original Halo except with updated graphics. If you don't play it as much, it's because you simply don't like the outdated (yet still great) gameplay of Halo one, you can't blame 343 for that.
@TheEpicGingy Still, though, you must admit that Anniversary is pretty much a copy/paste of Halo 1, except with some graphics updates. And, I'm not too sure, but Anniversary only comes to 360, as well. I prefer to play the old halo on PC, even after buying Anniversary for, what, 70 bucks?

Halo 2's campaign added a lot more mystery to the story, a lot more depth to some already incredible characters, and thrown in some equally compelling new characters such as The Arbiter, The Prophet of Truth and Miranda Keyes. Halo 2 will always have a special meaning cause it was the sequel to the greatest game ever, I remember the day I got it almost 8 years ago, like it were yesterday.

@fongNL COD doesnt suck i'm just saying. mw3 is probably one of the best games ive played in a long time. However, Halo 2 was by far one of the best games of all time. IMO way better in terms of everything than CE. Also halo 3 had some crazy multiplayer but shitty campaign. and then ODST was a rip off (firefight was awesome though) and reach was an epic disappointment (crappy campaign compared to the trilogy games, and shitty firefight, and broken multiplayer) BF3 is garbage though.

I just wish they would stop repackaging the same thing with marginally better graphics and a new setting and then spitting it out as fast as they can. It's disgraceful. This song alone brings back memories, memories of a simpler time when you didn't need Xbox Live to have fun. All you needed to do was get a friend or sibling and play cooperative on Legendary. I remember playing Halo 2 with my little brother when I was 11. Those were some good times. Best game ever.

In the bestiarium from Halo 3 it says that DNA/RNA/Silicon samples are included. Silicon would be silicon-based lifeforms, so... theres my guess. Its obviously more mechanized than anything forerunner seen, so if the planet was a huge forerunner construct then that would be odd. I dont think its forerunner; you can believe what you wish.
@prog2djent The shield worlds were compromised, and the forerunner are too famous and legendary in halo to actually fight. At least half of all halo fanatics would crouch in front of them and bow. There might not necceccarily be forunners in halo 4. it could be sentinals, or mabye covenant who still want to follow the "great journey". they do say everywhere ive read that the forunners all died but it is possible that not all did
The legendary planet might be a shield world that protected the forerunners from the flood and the halo array.
It might also be the precursors but that's highly unlikely (but I did read somewhere that "this structure looks neither covenant, nor forerunner in design") but it may have been a false edit on the wiki.

In the bestiarium from Halo 3 it says that DNA/RNA/Silicon samples are included. Silicon would be silicon-based lifeforms, so... theres my guess. Its obviously more mechanized than anything forerunner seen, so if the planet was a huge forerunner construct then that would be odd. I dont think its forerunner; you can believe what you wish.

@prog2djent The shield worlds were compromised, and the forerunner are too famous and legendary in halo to actually fight. At least half of all halo fanatics would crouch in front of them and bow. Me included. Precursor, possibly. Ive heard that before as well. My call for Halo 4's location is near installation 07, possibly the planet it orbits around.

@prog2djent Close, but wrong in some parts. 01 is desert. 02 is oceanic, and 03 is volcanic in nature. 04 and 5 are supposedly nothing, but i have my own theory about it. So, 04 is snowy and forested with broad leaf trees, correct? So it would be a temperate mixed kind of biome set. Then take 05, which is forested with jungle growth and beaches, so its a tropical mixed. 06 is all jungle, and 07 is unknown. The best guess for 07 (between the wiki and the encyclopedia), is that it is atmospheric.

There might not necceccarily be forunners in halo 4. it could be sentinals, or mabye covenant who still want to follow the "great journey". they do say everywhere ive read that the forunners all died but it is possible that not all did

The legendary planet might be a shield world that protected the forerunners from the flood and the halo array.
It might also be the precursors but that's highly unlikely (but I did read somewhere that "this structure looks neither covenant, nor forerunner in design") but it may have been a false edit on the wiki.

@TheFreekg I always thought Arbiter's missions were pretty new to the Halo series as it was more on stealth. It was also a great story.
Too bad people disliked it, would be amazing in Halo 3.

Instead of bumrushing the Tree at the same altitude that the Na'vi could get to them with their spears, they could have sent the shuttle at high altitude as a supersonic bomber, nothing the Na'vi can do about it.

I think Cameron's primary message was protecting the environment as well as the rights of indigenous peoples which he is a big campaigner for. I think he was also trying for a bit of Vietnam vibe because he grew up during the Vietnam War. Again, thats his perogative, I just enjoy the movie.

Cameron sure knows how to make memorable characters thats one thing.
Apone, Hudson, Quaritch, and they always get killed off.
