Annie did not leave Eurythmics to go solo. She left Eurythmics due to some dispute she had with Dave Stewart. She then went to work for a homeless charity for a couple of years and deliberately chose to stay out of the public eye as she was tired of it.
Then in 1992 she went solo - but she was nervous that she wouldn't be able to make it on her own. Thankfully she did !
LOL You don't need to feel bad about that with me, my husband of 5+ years is 100% Lebanese, so I don't need perfect English. lol Don't get me wrong, we've always had a perfect understanding of each other, but some of his mistakes earl on were quite cute. lol ;-) By the way, I understood you perfectly! :-)
Being a Joni fan, I have to make a correction! LOL Jungle Line is from Hissing of Summer Lawn, not Hejira. Both are awesome albums though.
