  • LOL, I just finished eating blue crabs as a late night snack. I'm full and feel like I need to workout as soon as I awake in the morning. This is a timeless message no matter the subject, love this vlog, ^5!

  • From other black people, I'm black myself, that wondered why my acne was so bad and why I just didn't wash my face. Apparently, acne is not common in the black community so according to them, I had to be doing something wrong. Thank God it's somewhat under control now, but I could have killed all those idiots that talked crap to me who had never had severe acne but felt the need to tell me how to get rid of it.

  • tell them sister

  • Well, I've been there. I know what you mean about the crab legs and butter ;) The key is to do that every once in a while, and not all the time. Also, I've lost weight without working out. Working out is only 10% of the equation. The only way to maintain your weight is to count calories and be conscious of everything you're eating.

  • For me it is working out. Everyone is different. Thanks for weighing in.

  • AtlantaSista, some folks will be small, some will be medium, and some will be large. That is just the way that is. I am all for exercise, healthy eating, and stuff-and think that folks should be aware of their weight for health reasons. But some folks are just anti-fat. We all know people who do not do anything to keep down weight but I have had some heavy friends. When I was young, it would take twice as much for me to get full as one friend, so that told me it's NOT always just laziness.

  • how did u lose weight,,,,,hit me up cause I need help...thanks sweetie :)

  • Sorry I'm just seeing this question. I started working out, wearing Body magix\c and cutting back at the table. Let me know if you want to know more about Body Magic. THANKS!

  • I agree with you all the way on this!! You have to have been in the shoes to really understand what a person is going through. I have been a big gurl all my life and I have lost it and gained it honey!! I love food too! It's a process that takes time, just a you put it on over time.Keep it up girl!! Think of it as a lifestyle change not a dieit. Take small steps just as you are doing. You are well on your way girl.......to your Fab outfits!! Remember Lifestyle Change NOT Dieit!!! Good luck!!!

  • I have battled weight fluctuating up snd down for years. I am now 26 and married and me and my husband were trying tostart a family and then i run into fertility problems. I micsscarried last year and my doctor cant seen to tell me why. But he is saying with me being 235 might be part of the problem. I want a child but first i do need to be healthier for me. Diabetes is bad in my family and i dont want to be on insulin. So im trying to loose weight and it is so hard.thanks

  • I just ran across this video and I saw your comment. Sis, keep your head up and keep pursuing your dream. I know we don't know eachother but, your comment struck my heart.I hope everything works out for you. Peace and Blessings.

  • fibroids?

  • PREACH IT! I totally agree. I am 19 now, have struggled with my weight since forever...it wasn't until I was in 5th grade that it became a problem. I have no friends and no life because of the fact I was made fun of all the time. I hate it how people tell me I need to lose weight when they haven't been there either. Don't try to tell me that, when you're stick thin you know? I also hate skinny people that complain that they are fat. I hate them.

  • chemicals that remains in your body and takes some time to get out. You just have to block people who refuse to be reasonalbe and who are void of compassion for others.

  • If it was that easy people like Oprah who is quiet intelligent and successful, who have chefs and trainers ready for her to snap her fingers would not still to this day be struggling with her weight! Everyone is different and everyone gained weight for different reasons. Most of the time overeating is caused by some kind of emotional upset. Not to evern mention all the addictive additives they add to food. Even if you begin to change your eating habits you still have to battle with all the

  • thank you sooooooooooooooooooo much for sharing this view point on your video about how its NOT that easy.

    thank you sooooooooooo much, hugssssssss

  • drink 3 -4 cups of coffee a day, this will kill your appetite, also do 45 mins cardio per day.

Eat 5-6 small meals a day.

When i need to lose weight, i just eat cereal or rice and chicken 6 times a day.

This way you can lose 2-3 lbs a week or more if you have more to lose.

  • coffee is not good for you. Nor is this a good way to loose weight. Take it form someone who has every weight from almost 300-145 pounds. It's a gradual process and it's a lifestyle change. It's not that you are drinking coffee that is making you feel full. It's the fact you are filling up on fluids. Water is a better choice.

  • thankyouverymuch, you made much sense. It is difficult to understand what someone is going thru if u haven't walked a mile in their shoes. Keep ya head up...o and crablegs - YES...I mean, ummm...no, lol. In moderation (what's moderation for crablegs - lol). Anyway, you can do it, get into those promissory clothes and make it happen. Pic your favorite and put it OUT of the closet to see each day as motivation. I'm pulling for you. Check out my weightloss journal...daily drama journal:)

  • WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFUL. I know the struggle, I have lived it, I live it, and I know it. I can't stand self-rightous people who refuse to hear and understand what all of what you're saying in this VID

  • Girl, folks are a trip. I am actually going to put a link in the the video description for this video to the video in which I am referring. That woman is a trip! And then her immature ass had the audacity to talk about someone's looks. I'm like, honey please! You ain't all that! Not by a long shot. Amazing ... LOL!

  • the bitch kind of looks like a man she's not attractive I cant believe I'm just seeing that hideous creoledc cunt face man

  • Girl, your ass is crazy! You know you will go hard on a bitch. yeah, she got her own problems, that is why I tried to go easy on her.

  • cuz food is like crack to who like eat

  • great video, maybe that will make people think twice.

  • GREAT VIDEO!Back in the days of our grandparents they never had these type of weight problems they were way to busy working super hard to gain the weight we do now adays and even in other countries where they dont have the modern appliances they dont have these type of problems, weight isnt an issue just about food addiction its also emotional, thats why its such a problem.food addiction is like drug addiction, shopping addiction, gambling addiction.

  • Oh my gosh. Thank you! You inspire me. Truly. Thank you!

  • I love your video, thanks a lot for it! Awesome, and SO true.

  • Good video...I stummbled across your video and loved it!

  • You have made your point and I love how direct you are. Great video

  • I believe too many people dont know what the word DISCIPLINE means, and i say that in all all aspects of America....Finances, Health, Greed...etc...

  • It's good to see someone put this out there. I was at work one day many years ago, and my bosses wife over heard me talking to a co worker about trying to lose weight, and how hard it was for me personally. And she walked past me wafer thin with a cup of coffee, and said... "Just stop eating." Ya...

  • Just like people need to understand where a person comes from in their weight problem, people need to understand a person in other problems, like bad relationships. It takes a person who been there to know.

  • You ear rings are pretty huge. Sorry, I was listening while doing something in another window and then looked back and couldn't figure out if maybe you had ear phones in at first? But they're ear rings.

  • Glad you figured it out.

  • true

  • AtlantaSistah Loved your video comment and can relate on every thing you said especially after loosing weight in an unhealthy manner through several surgeries then gaining after my last surgery. Became stressed and then started walking and trying to do something everyday that would promoter a healthier me...It's always a struggle in whatever your personal goals are in this life so I try not to be judgemental and stay in prayer constantly...Blessings

  • Great video!!

  • I feel you and I agree with you.

  • I happen to know who you talkin about. I do understand that weight loss is life changing, but I also understand it is possible and I've done it. So I will go on the record and say there is no excuse.

  • I think losing and maintaining your weight is about forming good habits and discipline. Some people have a harder time than others, but I agree maintaining a healthy lifestyle is possible. People who struggle with their weight should take baby steps to achieving their goals. It's a lifestyle not a diet. Just think about the consequences of not living healthy. The person may also need to resolve other issues, which may be linked to overeating or emotional eating.

  • Thank you Sistah--one who can say it just like it T I S!!! I'm glad I watched and I am also making it a fav of mine, thanks again.

  • Amen sister...you hit it right on the head!

  • This is a great video and I commend you for your honesty. I feel u sista. Peace!!!

  • Great vid. Very well articulated. Whatever the issue--be it drugs, weight, mental health--it's all about being more MINDFUL, empathetic, and less judgmental.

I know who you're talking about. I watched a few of her vids a long time ago and concluded that she has an ugly attitude and a lot of ISSUES.

    Stay up, AS! :)

  • I like you because you keep it 100.

  • Well Alright girl!!!!!

  • Oh my God I had to favorite this because you ain't done nothing but tell the TRUTHHHHH. :D

  • it's so hard to put yourself in someone else's shoe for some folks. it's easy to tell someone else how to live but never examine what YOU need to do as a person. great video!!

    such foolishness...lol!!!

  • Good video. Personally I eat a lot but never gain weight. But even Kevin Trudeau talked about this subject. You should check his books out.

  • Amen!!! many indivduals that struggle with weight loss also have psychological problems that go deeper than just preventing weight gain, so thanks for pointing that out.

  • wonderful video!... wonderful message!

    thank you for this!

  • Just stoping by to say hi!!! (=

  • Oh and thanks for the shouts! :)

  • Bravo!! You better speak it!!

  • Right on point. It boils down to keeping an open mind because like you say you never know if you'll be in that same situation someday. Oh and I'll join you in eating some crab legs. LOL!

  • Well said! Now you know we are all looking for the channel you are referring too! LOL, be Blessed and put down the crab legs!

  • *Nicole* you are so Awesome/Smart and i especially enjoy how you make unique intelligent metaphor, and necessary comparison in your blogs!:)

  • Thanks Corey! I appreciate your comments.

  • *Cheers, you are so right! I wish you would link the lady's videos so I could see her perspective on this.

  • amen!!!! Everyone has their struggles, she shouldn't have touched on weight loss challenges if shes never experienced it...

  • Points well articulated. Funny how we can become self righteous and judgmental when pointing the finger. BUT I guarantee you that when examining that judgmental person's life closer, they will be struggling with some vice that the rest of us can poke at. Let's get it together people! Imagine stepping in someone elses shoes for a minute...or two. We're all human.

  • Yay, Atlantah! Thanks for speaking up!!!
