Taylor wasn't responsible for Sierra Leone ravage. This is all nonsense. Even thou he had done other crimes to Liberian people, but Taylor wasn't responsible for war in S-L. How would they Charge for crimes against humanity? America and other world super powers should be charge if he is charge for crime against humanity.

He had a link with the rebels in sierra leone, supplying them weapons for diamonds. He also had a say in the leadership of the R.U.F rebels in sierra leone. Go read the transcripts of his trial u'll see his link and how he played a part in the war. He said it himself that he'll teach sierra leone a lesson. Most of the rebels in the begining of the Sierra Leone war came from Liberia. So what da fuck are u talking about?

During his trial, one of the rebels testified that when the cutting off of hands began, Foday Sankoh complained to charles taylor about it, that the liberian rebels were the ones doing it, and Charles' response was "it's war, and this is what happens during War."

You're right in a way. But he helped with their funding. Some of the rebels in Sierra Leone were from Liberia, on his orders. Sierra Leonean rebels refered to him as poppay. Liberia didn't want to try charles taylor. When they asked for his extradition to sierra leone from Nigeria, Obasanjo's responded by saying he took him from Liberia and will hand him over to Liberia, the liberian government refused to take him saying he's wanted in sierra leone and not Liberia.
