What a beautiful piano, good job. I once saw a very late Weber Duo Art grand in Alabama which had the Ampico B Drawer but Duo Art tracker bar and played Duo Art rolls. I read that only a few of those were made. The lady who owned it said it was a wedding present.
After the Aeolan Duo-Art and American Piano Co. merged in 1932, Duo-Art player systems were sometimes installed with Ampico B style drawers. Sometimes Duo-Art would be installed in brands normally associated with Ampico - there is a Chickering grand on Youtube with a Duo-Art system with an Ampico B drawer. Also a few Webers and Steinways were outfitted with complete Ampico B systems.
~ so nice to see and hear this beautiful DUO-ART player piano. I had a Weber Duo-Art for many years and sure do miss it........... I don't think i know one person who, if i mentioned a Duo-Art or Ampico player, would know what i was talking about. BUT- dat's da way it goes Josephine! uncle louie from boca raton,fl. signing off.
You're right Uncle Louie - Very few people know about reproducing pianos. I'm sorry you sold your Weber. I have a restored 1924 Weber Duo-Art grand - it's a 5'8" grand plain-case dark mahogany - their standard grand model they turned out the most of. Best from Cousin Tommy in NYC.

Thank you for your kind comments.
I play the pianola most nights for about an hour.
The only thing I have to be careful with is the electric motor that powers the bellows. It is over 80 years old!
