I didnt follow the test matches so you are right he played well in those. But this wicket in this match puzzles me. He mishits a shot in the opposite direction! Imagine if it had gone for 4???????
Not just in the tests. In the CB series finals (the 1 day series) against Aus, he scored 117 and 91 in both matches, and India won both matches and the cup.
I made the initial comment i think when Tendulkar got out cheaply against Sri Lanka more than once. But in the latter part of the series he came to form.

LOL, but he kicked Australia's ass in the finals and won both finals for India.
