Then Joe Quesada divorced them BY A DEAL OF THE DEVIL, aborted his daughter who would have becme Spider girl and with Civil War, screwed up the rest of the Marvel universe. Really, I think its Marvel that needs rebooting, not DC. Hell, Superman was married in the comics and they never divorced hm until the reboot.

As another person who grew up on the 1994 Spider-man, I wholeheartedly believe that TSSM was the best Spider-Man series ever. Even in two short seasons it trumped every past series in writing and animation. With the possible exception of "The Return of Hydro-Man," I've never seen the level of emotion, captured in this series, in any other Spider-Man show.

How is this way off from the comics any more than the 90s one was? Felicia Hardy wasn't some supersoldier experiment (or whatever they did in the 90s). MJ wasn't unattractive (I'm not talking looks here) and annoying. Norman Osborn did not have multiple personalities and never let anyone push him around. Gwen Stacy actually exists in Pete's dimension too.

Also I can't find that many negative reviews so could you show me that too. Not that it makes a difference with your bad argument about quantity equaling quality, but TSSM ran for two seasons. It was a measly (sp?) run but IMO full of perfection (except the first Venom arc but whatev).

The plot lines in Spectacular Spiderman are the best that i've seen in any superhero tv show. I think i like this show better than the movies. Having to balance school, crime-fighting, a job, and his love life, the show captured that perfectly. And how do the villains look deformed? The only villain that looked the least bit deformed was venom, but he's always been butt-ugly!
