to me Sg-1 needs 2 or 1 more season to kill the ori make sure Sg-1 get a good a happy end not like sliders where they got at the end of season 5 it was a bad end i like a good end for this show like as star trek voyager where end game was good end to a good show
give it until all questions are answered, and all conflicts resolved. That may take 2 or more seasons, then kill stargate. and what ever happened to longest running sci-fi huh?
well i can see where the vid is coming from but SG-1's time is just not now. the battle with the Ori is just starting out and now we have the Jaffa nation in disaray and Earth is at war with the Lucian Alliance... you need atleast one more season to sort all of this out. i don't think even a mini series can tie up all these main plots.
I agree with you, Jenksfromhull. As long as the SG-1 series is wrapped up properly (by means of 11th season, movie, mini-series), I'm perfectly content with it ending. But having it cancelled like this just isn't the way for it to end.

Flargo, FYI it's not just Trek but also B5. All good things was the title of the last Next Gen ep I believe but I digress. As a huge SG1 fan I'll be sad to see it end, but S9/10 haven't grabbed me much so maybe it's for the best. The Moebius fishing scene was to be the end but they got a stay of execution then. Hypersg1's entitled to his view tho' tact ain't his forte. Maybe he just likes rattling people's cages. In which case ignore it, plenty of 'save sg1' vids out there.
Um, about this... look, I'm going to be very frank about this.
I don't mind the fact that the series "Stargate: SG-1" would have to come to an end sooner or later. However, what I do mind is the Sci-Fi Channel cancelling it before this thing with the Ori can be resolved.
There's also your "Get A Life" remark which seems likely to aggravate people. Just by saying that, you suggest that SG-1 fans have no lives outside their favorite show. Well, I do have a life, thank you very much.

Th eoriginal Stargate SG-1 ended after season 8. Stargate SG-1 is kind of dead now, but it's still my favorite show.
Take into consideration that:
There will be two Stargate DVD movies after this.
Atlantis will continue, and Carter will be a regular.
There will be another series: Stargate Universe.
I would rather have that then have Stargate SG-1 continue.
The people at NBC are still morons, though (they own Sci Fi channel).
