  • I WANT TO JAPAN, ANIME AND NARUTO

  • Maybe meltingEyeballs means that japan is an island and first if you read his comment you will be like " WHAAT?? toyko lonely? hell no " but its basically an island so he maybe thats his point

or hes just beeing sarcastic :D

  • Next time can you talk? instead of just filming.

  • Young woman dressed like maids in a sexy way passing-out flyers.

  • Great video but you should walk

  • You've still got a good eye, Egawauemon, but I wish you'd break out your Merlin steadicam rig and move the camera through these locales. These tripod shots just aren't immersive or unique.

  • I've been there.

  • 32 million people living in a greater Tokyo area, makes you wonder, it makes London and paris look like dwarfs

  • Man! wished I had enough time to roam it while I was there T_T

  • hi,what is your camera?

  • Mi piace...Yes

  • just love these videos so crystal clear. next best thing to being there i love the asian cities so full of life.

  • show*-*

  • To answer many people's questions about the two young ladies handing out flyers. They are not hookers of any sort. These two girls appear to work at a maid cafe, they seem to be handing out flyers advertising the cafe they work at. This is quite common in Japan, especially in Akihabara.

  • whats with the girls handing out flyers of some sort?

  • Great video =)

  • At 0:38 there are two street hookers looking for customers. How much do they charge for long time?

  • Akb48 hometown

  • Porfin

  • I've seen "全球中共退党"!I support it!

  • why still 2011? :(

  • Ah, the video makes me want to go back. Just got a flood of nostalgia just hearing the road crossing chime at 0:26 :)

  • Which software you are using to edit your videos?

  • I don't know how these people can stand all that noise on those loudspeakers 24/7. BUY! BUY! BUY! I'd go insane.

  • Did you also notice that on every corner is a maid?

  • More nature, nature, please.

  • omg this bring sooo many good memories!

  • you should make the videos 10-20 minutes long like you used to lol

  • The first person who dislikes has a tic tac dick or has to tie their vagina up with a rope.

  • World's loneliest city, if you understand what I mean.

  • @meltingEyeballs dont get it ...

  • @diuneya He means the cold of the people, even if you’re reach out your hand for help nobody will grab it, everybody worries about themselfs, even if millions of people pass you by, you’ll still be alone.

    Got it?

  • @lesengir @meltingEyeballs I didn't get meltingEyeballs comment, either. Tokyo is not like that at all. Please don't mix it up with some other big cities. There in Tokyo, if you ask for help, you'd find it soon enough.

  • @shiminshake Guess who Used to live in tokyo?

  • @lesengir Me.

  • @TJPguy Sorry I have to disagree with you on that, not my experience at all. I've been in Tokyo for a few weeks myself and found poeple to be very nice. Of course it depends on how you approach them and who you ask, try to stop a salaryman on his way to work and he'll run you over. ;)

Even ended up having a personal tour of Ikkebukuro and explanations of all the types of restaurants from a random Japanese guy I met while having coffee on my first day in town. Same thing happened again in Kyoto.

  • @lesengir yes, thank you =)

  • @meltingEyeballs

    what does it mean?

  • Comment removed

  • @meltingEyeballs I don't. Care to explain your point? :)

  • @Solitude075 hes alluding to the high number of otaku cultured men and young adults. Its often portrayed that they prefer virtual girlfriends or anime characters as women. Its just a male dominated subculture and most of the time grown men are more interested in their hobby than in women.

  • @meltingEyeballs No? what does it mean

  • @meltingEyeballs What do you mean?

  • I miss Akihabara sooo much. You should do Ueno Station and Ueno Park too.

  • Love this window to Japan.

  • Why the SARS-Mask at 0:25?

  • @beerdeddi1

They're meant for covering one's mouth when one catches a cold. The mask was not made for SARS. Please understand.

  • @beerdeddi1 Why base your knowledge on face mask based on what mainstream society has told you about them? Assumptions are dangerous and debilitating for a population.

  • Can you make a video of Tokyo at night, maybe with some rain? It would be very nice. Thumbs up so he can see, please.

  • Super !!!!!! Sei il migliore, ciao da Genova.

  • too short!!! D:

  • akiba rules

  • @CroMarduk Lol.

    I tata bi sine. :D

  • OMG OMG OMG I want to see Tokyo.

  • Moiré approved length!

  • AKIBA electric town / otaku sancutary XD XD a blissful place indeed XD that much crowding must be either a saturday or a busy sunday XD

  • So wanna go Akihabara!!

  • You've gotta love Akiba

  • I love Akiba!

  • can you explain what the girls in anime outfits trying to advertise?

  • @Nightspyz1 They're handing out "Please come to our store"-type flyers. Over a hundred small shops are there in Akihabara which are nearly impossible to find without prior experience AND a map (printed on the flyer).

  • @Nightspyz1 i believe alot of them are trying to sell "maid services"

sort of like the back room sex shops you get in the uk but without the sex.

you go with them and get a massage, drink, and stuff like that.

but from what iv herd its the sort of thing the normal japanese guys wont go for.

think of it like this, if you where to walk into a real bad looking sex shop on the high street and others saw you go in they might think your a bit on the strange side of life.

but this is just a guess.

  • @GaurdianAnubisHD ... it is a guess and it's completely wrong. Maid cafes stems from the Anime culture and there is nothing shady going around.

Some very well known cafes in Akihabara have more girls than guys as customers during weekend afternoons.

Said so - it's true that the many people don't go to maid cafes simply because those people are not into animes and manga, and many things in Akihabara would make no sense to them.

  • @kefsound fair enough, i thought it was a bit on the shady side.

    thanks for putting me strait.

  • @Nightspyz1 They advertise maid cafés.

  • すごい
