  • Wish the "music" wasn't replacing your voice.

  • @freeheretic111 thanks!

  • What song is this?

  • @Beardeddragon1999 Just because a safety check isnt in the video doesnt mean the gun wasnt safety checked. I look down gun barrels all the time when I'm cleaning/gunsmithing. It's really not a problem.

  • @Beardeddragon1999 oh come on, you too? its obviously not loaded. you dont see me making fun of your horrible spelling do you? no...

  • I'm not a fan of this gun. It's accurate enough, and a fun shooter, but since the second time my father and I took it out to shoot, I don't thing I've gone through a mag yet where it hasn't jammed. And we clean it regularly. And when it jams, it puts a notch in the bullet, so it won't load properly, so it's a wasted bullet. It's very frustrating.

  • @haircutbob2 what ammo did you use?

  • @Abomb520 All different types, none SUPER high quality, but decent. My dad says we'll take it out soon and put a few high dollar rounds through it, and see if that makes a difference.

  • @haircutbob2 Try CCI ammo, and make sure you oil it enough.

  • @haircutbob2 same thing happened to me it was my 2 time shooting it but i figured out it was the led bullets i was using .. they jam the gun very easily just a tip...

  • @haircutbob2

i call bullshit. i have one with 2000 rounds through it. only one stovepipe. cleaned it 3 times so far.

    "best bang for the buck"

  • @captainchronizzle It's actually a lot better now. I can honestly say I love this gun now. Perhaps it just needed a break-in period. We have a red dot on it now, and it's ended the lives of many snakes in the deer lease, and I've gotten to be a pretty good shot with it. Maybe I was just bitter that I couldn't hit anything with it before. haha

  • I have this firearm and as far as firing, comfort, accuracy a superb weapon. One major flaw however. The part the sights are mounted to is made of plastic. Part # B5152608 Sight Mount Base Rear (Plastic). I am going on number 3 now. anybody else have this problem?

  • @conservativeg i have heard about this numerous times. my hasn't cracked yet...

  • @Abomb520 your lucky, I sold it and the guy I sold it to had a gunsmith put on a new one and same problem. Browning disappointed me on this. After talking to customer service I found out this is a common problem with this particular firearm. But Browning has no plans to recall or fix problem. That is when I made my decision to sell it. Its a shame I loved the accuracy from this pistol.

  • COOL MUSIC

  • You stroke a mans gun like that, you may as well be strokin his woman.

  • @mopperone lol

  • blued or stainless... that is the question

  • Hi can you help me I see that you dry fire your gun if I do that it lock,s up. to fix that I need take it apart to unlock.Howard

  • Either this or a Ruger MkIII stainless polymer frame is next on my list. Kinda leaning towards the Ruger but I know for a fact I won't be dissapointed with this one either, tough choice.

  • that has to be the thickest barrel i've ever seen on a pistol

    great video BTW

  • Nice gun man, I just bought one of these but i cheeped out on the extra $50 and didn't get the stainless haha

  • NICE GUN. I AM THINKING OF BUYING MY FIRST GUN. DO THOSE GUNS HAVE A MAGAZINE? HOW DO YOU INSERT THE BULLET?

  • @mycrx89 they have 10 shot magazines. They load like any other semi auto(9mm, 40s&w, etc...) only these mags have a little spring notch to help load them easier. thanks for watching, good luck with your purchase!

  • @mycrx89 go with the RUGER MK 3 22/45 its the same price just a little better designed and more reliable, plus its got the name just check it out. i have both the buckmark and Ruger i just favor my ruger more

  • @mycrx89 good luck buying a gun and getting instructed bout guns seems like you know nothing bout them

  • @lifes40123 That's a stupid comment. If I knew all about guns there would be no reason for me to ask a question about a gun. We all have to start somewhere. I am sure even you had to learn to use a gun at one point.

And by the way, I do know about guns now. I bought a Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm. I am pretty good with it. Every person in this country has the right to learn how to operate a firearm.

  • @mycrx89 this is what u said

NICE GUN. I AM THINKING OF BUYING MY FIRST GUN. DO THOSE GUNS HAVE A MAGAZINE? HOW DO YOU INSERT THE BULLET?

what is those guns? this vid is about the browning buckmark 22... he showed the magazine in the video and u still asked the question.. well no duh a semi automatic pistol has a magazine... and its not called bullet its called ammunition! and u put the ammunition in the magazine than u put the magazine in the gun! damn im only 14 and im smarter!

  • @lifes40123 well, yeah. i know that now. but i didn't know about gun parts a few months ago. but i am learning. i hope you will still be my friend.

  • @mycrx89 lol friends? come on.. we cant be friends unless u add me lol

  • could do without the shitty music

  • @77winkleman mute button

  • well first off nice review.ok they have a browning buckmark at an hunting store in my town so i was wondering is the gun worth the money. Also does it ever cham iv'e heard that because the barrel is screwed into place with one screw it chams but ive never shot one so i was just wondering

  • @shooter601 I'm not familiar with that 'cham' term, but I'll tell you this, I've fired over 1000 rounds using about every ammo style/brand you could think of. if there are any screw-ups, it's always been the ammo. occasionally, because its dirty. trigger is the best, better than rugers mk series (imo). definetly worth the money, trust me. check out my other buckmark vids on my page. let me know what you think! thanks for watching.

  • @shooter601 this is the best .22 LR semi auto pistol. period. it will make you think twice about shooting a larger caliber too. it is so comfortable and fairly problem free. there's only one beef I have about the gun and that is in order to clean it properly you must remove the barrel and due to the placement of the bolt it is just a wee bit time intensive. It's not a field strip-able unless you have allen wrench and don't mind the few extra minutes to disassemble.

  • I got mine from academy for 300 bucks I used only 2 times and go thru like over 1200 round Only problem I have with this guy is top two screws getting lose after few rounds then gun wont fire any more

I think I need to put locktide on screws

Accuracy is very good I am pleased with it

Magazine release button it is kind of far for me to reach

If you want to get this gun I strongly suggest you get a Ultimate clip loader on Ebay about 23$ It is worth it for your fun shooting.

  • The takedown on the Buckmark is dumb having to use tools and all, but the gun feels and looks of good quality. I heard it shoots straight too. The magazine falls out properly (you don't have to pull it) when the button is pressed. If it does not have a rail you can buy one for a red dot sight. I'm heading back to Academy soon : )

The Ruger take down is dumb too. Watch the vids on YouTube. I believe the Ruger Mark III or the Ruger 22/45, and the Browning Buckmark .22 pistols are great.

  • couldn't have said it better myself buddy. now go to Academy quick!!! before you change your mind! lol.

  • I went to Academy to look at the Smith & Wesson 22a, the Browning Buck Mark, & Ruger Mark III or 22/45. The Smith 22a looked and felt cheap & the sight was lop-sided. It has a bigger grip. The 22a is ugly too, but it is $50 cheaper & can take a red dot out the box.

I saw this exact Buckmark there. Same grips & all. The grip style is perfect. It is thinner & just feels like decent quality gun with a better build than the 22a. The sights were easier to use. The price = US $300.

  • the overall quality and feel (not to mention great reputation) is what leaned me towards the buckmark. It's grips are perfect. accurate right out of the box too. I know exactly what you mean about the 22a, and I favored the mag release action of the buckmark over both rugers u mentioned.

I've heard about the sight base cracking, being that it is pretty much the only part that is plastic... yet it hasn't happened to me... I dunno. all I can say is I'm beyond happy.

  • i think im gunna get one of these...browning makes a nice little red dot sight for only like 50$ msrp...seems like it would be a blast to shoot

  • I read on Browning website that the barrel is "stainless", that doesn't mean that it's stainless steel though, right? So I take it this is polished aluminum alloy, correct? I like the fact that the frame is alloy, not polymer like the Ruger, but I don't know about the aluminum barrel ... how does it withstand heavy shooting? I'm assuming it will wear faster than the Ruger steel barel...but then again I don't own any of these guns, just doing research for now.... Thanks for you detailed "shots"

  • I think you are correct about the barrel. I tried looking everywhere for the best explanation for you but couldn't find anything. needless to say, I've put many rounds down range and never really had any problems with the barrel. just don't use cheap ammo like the wax-covered Remington thunderbolts or Winchester wildcats. that waxy residue builds up in the barrel and eventually causes malfunctions...

  • the FRAME is aluminum alloy. the barrel is steel. at least on the model in this video. apparently browning has some new models out now called Buck Mark Lite (look on their website) that appear to have aluminum barrels also.

  • true stainless wont take to a magnet like aluminum. The stainless used in firearms is an alloy mixture and still can rust but just not as easy. Ive seen stainless guns rust.

  • Definitely a nice pistol. I was looking at either buying this one or the Ruger Mark 3. I handled them both at the shop and the buckmark felt a lot better in my hand so I'll probably go with that one.

    Good Vid

  • I agree. I held both before buying, I even had the chance to shoot both before purchasing. I'll tell you now, you will love the trigger on the Buckmark over the Ruger. promise. its so crisp, the best.

  • Buckmark Camper is a GREAT value! Awesome trigger out of the box. Very accurate.

Best .22 handgun for under $300.

  • exactly why I bought it my friend. I love the crisp trigger on this pretty lady.

  • Nice music too...what is it ? The SS Camper is made in Montreal now BTW.

  • The song is some creepy one off this ambient soundtrack. I just chose it with that audioswap thing. It is called The Molten Core. I think Browning share manufacturing with Canada. I couldn't figure it out myself. It says "Morgan Utah USA & Montreal, P.Q. Canada" on the left side, "22 Long Rifle, Buckmark, Made in USA," on the right side.

  • thanks man

  • nice gun
