  • Was that Boris/Bermel?

  • i saw this before i even deployed but i know the difference between incomin and outgoin. i was in Ghazni province and we got over a little 200 IDF attacks durin our tour. i know yall still fuckin em up! keep it up!!

  • Yeah those were the Chinese 107 mm rockets fired from a compound just under where we were returning fire. I was on the 105 mm howitzer on the other side of the compound from the airfield. The last rocket you see come in hit about 30 meters from my howitzer.

  • RAKKASAN!!!

  • Czy oni się nie wstrzeliwują ?

  • I would kill for a kabob right now!

  • I love when he says; "We obviously pissed somebody off in the past few days."

  • Nice capture of incoming sounds. That is how it sounds (only way louder).

  • i think the reason why a lot of people think this can't be rockets is because they only remind RPG's when they hear the word rocket and so they forgot multiple rocket launchers for artillery purposes like the type63

  • WAR FOR OIL U.S. TO FIGHT SOME BANKERS profit more from somebody else's oil THEFT OF ...... what the next mission, invading the Amazon?

  • I went through many incoming rockets barrages during my stay in Baghdad and those most definitely are rockets, once you have heard them you never forget. I would guess either 107's or 120's but probably 107's because those were the most common. Anyone says they are mortars obviously is talking out their ass

  • I agree. it was only rockets coming in. 107's mostly. I was at Orgun E for a good while, as well as the rest of Paktika. You couldn't hear the mortars coming in most of the time. Rockets were a different story. Anybody remember the Kabob shop next to the gym? Awesome kabobs and Nan

  • those are 107mm howitzers, and fuck me are they scary...

  • ive never been in combat but i dont think mortar rounds make noise as theyre incoming, someone correct me if im wrong

  • @crimbo913 they are rockets

  • did you really say this was a mortar attack? Obviously you have never been deployed... jpin up, mobilize, go to Kandahar and shut the fuck up

  • This queer's comment below me sounds like he's jealous of "westerners" lol... He only wish he had beauties walking around naked! I mean god did create a beautiful body for men to admire, and didn't exactly want men raping little helpless boys like they do in the Muslim part of the world.. Makes me happy to know that we can do what we want and they are running around like a chicken with his head cut off! I'm gonna go eat me a pork sandwhich

  • @mrjericho---stop sucking uncle sams dick for a paycheck, u uneducated inbred redneck immigrant fuck. No Afghans were involved in 9-11 u dumb fuck. Islam is the religion of all the prophets, and Allah is whom Moses, Jesus n Muhhamed prayed to. Again, ur a stupid inbred redneck fuck, lol.

  • US Military=Travel agents for Allah,...."We'll put a boot in your Ass, its the American way"

Them stupid dumb fuckin; Terrorist's,..Islam is a Cult with A Fake prophet called Allah

    Islam sucks,...how that for being Politically Correct,....oh here's one more,.."Hey Allah,..Blow Me"

  • @mrjericho5701

Sir...you are retarded. "Allah" means "God" in Arabic. Even Arab Christians and Jews call God "Allah" since it's "God" in their language. You need to get your red-neck ass out of Mississippi and to a school to get an education. Don't make up your own facts, it will make you look like the ultimate fool.

  • @abcd11238 Its not me who's in need of education on this matter,it does not matter if you believe this or not but these Islamic terrorist's are in a Holy War against non-believers ,Christians and Jews,..These are Facts even if a fool like you does not get it. Allah might be Satan but he's no God,All these terrorist scream out hate in the name of Allah while killing thousands of innocent people all over the world

  • @mrjericho5701

There is no point in explaining anything to you since you disregarded my whole explanation...And just because a few EXTREMISTS are assholes doesn't mean the whole religion is there to kill you.

And by the way, you are saying that Arab Christians and Jews are worshiping Satan...nice going.

  • @mrjericho5701

ur mother is probably a whore which is why you are against Islam since Islam is against promiscuity of your and other westerners mothers and womens who walk around naked and with dildos pushed up their arse and with 90% of westerners and more not knowing their fathers identities

  • @mrjericho5701 @mrjericho5701

  • @sexieststudinworld didnt Muhamid fuck a 9yr old child?

  • i was a specialist in the infantry when i recorded this in orgun-e, gave a copy to a buddy and now its on youtube. this was 10th Mountain Division OEF IV, the best infantry unit in the army. we got rocket attacked alot, the closer you were to pakistan the worse it was.

  • ... the freakin ad froze jesus christ. 0:00

  • I played gameboy in the bunker. this was the day they hit that generator

  • We got mortared constantly but rocketed once. Hated the rockets. Your hear them things coming for a ways and wonder if that one is your time

  • Thats my cousin Ricky holding the camera there. Makes me happy he has lived as long as he has. Wish him luck. See you soon

  • this is not Kandahar... there is no mountain that close to Kandahar AF...

  • lol the afgans are like termites, defending there hills

  • If not Bagram maybe OrgunE? It still strikes me as odd to hear that Bagram is a "pogue palace" now, when we first got there we had to use a big barrel with a water spicket attached to it for a shower, only had tents, no real d-fac, and forget about calling home or the internet. I'm thinking I've seen this place but can't remember where and it is bugging me.

  • @paulsprecker It was Orgen-E...about 20 miles from Pakistan...in the Paktika Province

  • @Texashog74 Thank you, it was bugging me because I knew the place looked familiar. We were in alot of different places in Afghanistan and it is all mostly a dusty blur for me now; kind of like a really weird dream that I often think "did that really happen, wow".

  • @Texashog74 Yeah dude i recognize this shit. i was in Bermel in 07-08.

  • It doesn't look like Kandahar to me, I'm thinking Bagram or another post up that way (looks too big for most FOB's). We had "pop-up missions" all over that place from Bagram to Khost (FOB Salerno) to Kandahar to Spin baldack (however the is spelled) to Gardez to Ghazni, and other places we didn't know the name of- we were all over that place but operated out of Bagram- which got hit regularly too, were spred pretty thin then. Anyway, anyone know for sure where this was filmed. Thanks, hooah.

  • Was that Bagram? It reminds me of what Bagram looked like back in 2002-2003, I remember taking some 107mm rocket attacks and mortar attacks while there and remember a 107mm rocket hitting the AA side of the compound (ours- 82nd Airborne, 18th Airborne was there too) but alot of places look the same in the stan. Just wondering if that was Bagram back in the day toward the far end of Disney. And, from what I can tell, those look like and sound more like 107mm strikes than mortars hits.

  • Damn. Pretty freakin' intense. Stay safe guys and good hunting. Go get the bastards

    *salutes*

  • I'm an arab, and I respect every single brave American soldier. You are heroes

  • dang, hope no one got hurt. well, our side anyways. that's got to be unnerving not knowing where it's coming from.

  • Ok, the first few guys, good bravado to you, rockets, mortars oohah, who gives a rats ass, boom, boom , dead. I have ner=ver been there but who are we to say what to do. Bless those guys filming and glad they made it back to share with us.

If you haven't been there don't pretend you have with your explicit knowledge.

Thank the marines that share!! BE SAFE OUT THERE

  • this is literally one of the most awesome videos I've ever seen on youtube. I had my mouth wide open the whole time. It really shows how brave these men are. I would have freaked out, and they're just like "oh, that's awesome". For any military men or women who read this, Thank you for your service! you guys/girls are crazy!

  • they should be watching where these rockets are being launched instead of watching the impact blast and smoke. DUH!!!!!!!

  • Those are 107mm rockets. I was in Afghanistan 0EF IX, X. There not really walking them in, they just get lucky. You usually dont here mortars.

  • @poppy1821 do you mean OEF IV ?

  • After 12 months in Afghanistan I HATE that whistling sound...

  • "shiiittt" epic hahahahaha xD

  • Notice how they are correcting their fire to walk the rounds into the target? You don't do this with rockets- because they are fairly inaccurate and are fired from crude launchers or simply propped up with rocks.

  • @machbaby these were rockets. i was standing in the guard tower directly accross from where the 3 uav guys were filming this from. the rochets were recovered later that day.

  • So been there done that turned my speaks up and this gave me the biggest goose bumps, thanks for posting, I miss it cant want to head back! RC east

  • whatever the fuck it was, don't stand where it lands

  • Those are rockets. I this gives me goose bumps.

  • what was going on?

  • wow.

surely the army has a computer that can pan scan that mountian range, detect heat,

zoom in , inspect, and destroy after verification X_x

  • @RobCardIV Yeah lets get the dam ROE to work like that you dumb shit, go over there and say that shit, people here call it war crimes and we need to be more careful of who and what we engage

  • they sound like gays an they sound like mortars

  • rockets sounds not like this ...i think these are light mortars...

  • These aren´t any mortars! These are rockets! I´ve been in Afghanistan, some of the guys in here don´t know the difference of the sound between a rocket and a mortar.

  • 82mm mortars?.....Have you ever been under a rocket attack you fucking idiot?...No, you havent, those are 107mm rockets you wanna be know it all douche bag.

  • @jory1982 yeah, I confirm this is 107mm rockets, I survived few attack in Ghazni.

  • Definitely mortars...best guess would be Russian made 82mm rounds.

  • @machbaby you are a moron, why don't you go back to barns and noble and look at some more military history books. I heave they have a special on WWII Aircraft book

  • @emmelracing

    your wrong

  • Not a rocket attack, its Shells from a Mortar.

  • @911insidejob81 oh f"ck off , nowon gives a sh*t on what you say

  • enough of this lets see some dead taliban bodies

  • Why build a base next to a mountain? Cause its Afghanistan you fucking idiot, theres mountains everywhere

  • man the way they belting the compound id say ur safer where u were

  • When i was in Kandahar my first night i had a rocket strike about 100-200 meters away, was fuckin too close for comfort

  • why build a base right to next to the mouintains? they are asking to be hit by rockets

  • @MetalCraftGerbil you can get hit no matter what. plus a base that size would be more diffecult to build on the mountain then where its is. plus if the enemy where to try and attack on foot they would have a lot of open ground to cover. don't worry about if they will find out where it is coming from. we have counter batteries. are rader can back track to the source.

  • ya thats such a cool sound. fuckin idiot. not when they're coming for you you fukin idiot. Guys cry when they hear noises like that after they get home. its the worst sound in the world

  • wow i love the sound when a mortar come in.

    awesome^^

  • those are rockets, fuckstick. mortars sound different because they're... not rockets. dumbshit.

  • ah fuck off. dumbass.

  • fuck me? nah, fuck YOU, shithead. fuck you and your weak shit. fuck it all day, in your ass, off the walls, and back to bed, shitstain.

  • haha no freinds or? a CS gamer and no hobbys, wannabe xD

learn reallife and so on, lets search work or make ya homework sweety ;)

  • i don't speak 'retard'. you're going to have to have that translated for me.

  • yh aint it just awesome. But they were rockets not mortars.

I'm half way through the application process of joining the army.

  • Thank you for making a difference for the best, for serving.

Also thank you for recording, posting and sharing.

From the type of ninety-ing used in the attack, these terrorists were obviously trained in Iran.

Those types will get theirs soon, too.

  • shut the fuck up and shove your 'analysis' back up your fuckin cock holster.

  • Same shit different day at OE... We got hit with over 75 Rockets during my deployment... Ohh by the way to the edd217 No jack ass that is not a test that is real shit.... 107mm Rockets are bad as hell and when you are actually in a bunker there it sounds like they are suspended in the air forever.......

  • LOL I had to read all of these but to everyone who swore up and down that it was mortars, they are wrong. I was at Orgun-E a few years after the video and they have only used rockets. We were never once hit by motars. FYI- right where you guys were sitting, they extended the post out that far.

  • Just got back from OE and yeah it has changed a lot from the early videos... That is definitely the same place though.... I think that is even before the wall of Hero's

  • @KID4354 When where you at Orgun-E. There were some guys from my company that was there.

  • @ThisGuyIRLv2 was there in 06 -07

  • @KID4354 Yeah, we were there in 10-11. Not me, but the other platoon was.

  • to the tipity top!

  • You didn't answer my question

  • Were those booms at the end and the dust on the mountains US cannons/ordinance being launched?

  • What the hell do you think it was?!

Yeah, our military launches rockets at itself just to practice!

  • correction those are 107mm rockets

  • Those are 70mm rockets, I have heard hundereds of those go over my head and explode When I was at FOB Rustamiyah last tour. One even hit my build and buried itself in the wall two feet above my buddies bed, thankfully we were out at the time

  • Yes I happen to be the guy that was in the back of the truck. It was a interesting day. And they are wrong you don't have to be hit by it for the shrapanal to kill you.

  • I happen to be 1 of the 3 people in the video. So I know everything that happens in the video and yes they where rockets and we shot artillery back at them. It was a very stressful day, and my PLT SSG was very angrey at me for being out in the middle of that mess.

  • you are?

  • Brave!

  • Your base is under attack!

  • no dude, i think they are rockets. i was at a fob in afghan and woke up to that whistling sound and then the explosion. they were old russian rockets i was told.

  • from the looks of the impacts they are shooting 81mm mortars 120mm make a way bigger impact if you dont believe me check out my vids from when i was in iraq if u want to see a 120mm mortar impact

  • and they aren't rockets at all either they are mortars only mortars make that sound before they hit.

  • well when i was there in 03-04 they would freeze there mortars in big ice cubes too and then let them melt away then eventually the mortar would fire so this guy is right about the rockets too. i got to back up a fellow mortarmen.... high angle hell man.

  • its mortar not rockets

  • ok at first in this video its the rockets and then at the end our mortar unit fires bak and theres a close up to the mountain where u can see the landings, usually they set the rocket launchers on timers so when we fire bak with our instantanious fire missions we dont kill them cuz they fled hours ago

  • Yea those are rockets for sure, trust me when u hear that whistle u know its coming.

  • ok yes those are 107mm rockets and that is what used to be known as ORGUN-E

  • These arent rockets or something like that ...you cant hear any rocket sounds.these are "only" mortar rounds..

  • Definitely 107 rockets.

  • so how you want to explain the sounds of the wings of Mortars close before impacts?and the wide area of impacts...is it a taliban high on Opium or MJ?

  • Did UAV team post this, i was inside compound runnin for bunker on this vid

  • They weren't very accurate, but if you were in the wrong place at the wrong time.......you were dead!!

  • Looks like Kandahar to me

  • damn IF fire, my cousin spoke it about it all the time when he came back, said that they couldnt hit a side of a freaking barn, watching this video he must of telling the truth :)

  • This is in Lógar?

  • I think those are mortars.

  • ...what boring.

  • omg where at in afghan was this! thats some fucked up shit!

  • RIGHT INSIDE THE FUCKING BASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 lol

  • Comment removed

  • yeah Orgun-E

  • is this O-E?

  • Holy Shit

  • meh! murr.
