  • I love the "vee" rumble.

  • Should have been a war winner, completely silent!!

  • TURBOcharge it lol

  • that thing runs too clean to be russian...and it looks too clean, heh

  • I guess the same engine which was used in the MAZ 743. But with more horsepower... about 520 HP... 38,9 litres of displacement... an awesome machine!

It burned a lot of oil by the way. :D

  • 20 litrów na ... 2 obroty wału korbowego :D

  • во во так и воруют наши технологии

  • Looks like they came with built in smoke screen

  • The engine sounds very smooth!

  • Дерьмо у вас знаете где? Вот и молчите кто говорит что наши двигателя дерьмо! Shit you know where? So who says that the silent engine of our shit!

  • @nessi150 пиндосы ничего не понимают в наших движках))))))))))

  • @Lexxa36 Во во...)

  • It looks like the W-2 [orV-2] engine taken straight from a T-34 tank.

  • yep thats typical russian engine! Look this blue smoke :) what a shit

  • @mariuszKes thats how they got ya , they pretended to be shit while in fact they had energon force feilds around them

  • The Soviet V-12 Diesal ( arguably) the best armored vehicle engine of the second WW. The combat ability of an armored force is not a direct function of a one on one match up between tanks. The Soviet use of one standard engine and one standard gun on their two main battle tanks the T-34 and KV simplified repair and maintenence. Even the U.S. was unable to produce one engine in sufficent quantity for all its M-4's. The German's had a multiplicity of Chassis, engines and tracks to maintain.

  • atleast hook it up to be a generator or something

  • Конечно на водке! а собирают у нас движки медведи в валенках с балалайками!

  • я не понял а нахуя его вообще на тележку поставили ?

  • @BOLBI89 я думаю потому что устали на ручонках носить его...

  • bbdin. Not the machine but the crew certainly do!

  • как там вкусно пахнет

  • i bet that the engine used up like 30 liters of diesel in the video....

  • A diesel V12 with no TURBO?!!? 2000+hp?

  • a great piece of communist engineering!

  • @soverato3 a great piece shit look at it smoking it' should be black smoke instead of blue

  • @troyweeseful its out of one of the best tanks ever made!! and its cold... all diesel engins smoke than...

  • @soverato3 maybe in war two but in todays world it is out classed , just like in world war two the best is german tanks the krupp co makes the 120 mm found our m-1 tanks today .

  • @soverato3 do u know if theres a vid of 1 warmed up and revving higher(hardly seemed to rev it) compared to a vid i just watched on the tiger which revved much higher and surprised me with how quick it span up too? (pumping black smoke) cheers

  • @rossiwilton (or dark blue) ;)

  • @soverato3 If like communist so well you aways go to china ,n-korea , communist are assholes we should not never gave them them the eastern block. the ussr was so week after germanys surrender that general patton wanted to go in and kick there commie asses out of there but the pussy s in washiton wouldn't let him WE SHOULD HAVE NUKE THEM BACK TO STONE AGES .

  • @troyweeseful hahah thats funny you prove you're just an dumb kid... 80%of the nazi losses were at the east front the united states had no hard time whatsoever.. the only did a little in the very tip of the west and a small island called japan.. those nukes where just a crime agains humanity.. the USSR had the power to defeat the nazi's a a difficult time and it only made them stronger! the ussr had the biggest army, most space triumph's and most ICBM's and also the biggest bomb ever! (TJAR)50MT

  • @troyweeseful The red army at the end of world war two was not weak my friend, it was in fact the most powerful army in the world. it had 6.2 million frontline troops, over 12,000 tanks, 112,000 artillery pieces(more than the rest of the world combined) and about 15,000 aircraft, not to mention huge amounts of food and material. Patton wanted to attack soviet union, but he would have been for a nasty shock. fortunately this never happened.

  • Put a load on it is that shaft just running free? Most engines don,t like to idle i would think even when there standing still they have a flywheel just a thought.

  • @ZOT0245

No. This is YaMZ (ЯМЗ-8504.10) engine. Applied to the tanks and big truck.

  • @FullAlexandre This is NOT a ЯМЗ-8504.10. It's the V-2 derivative, Д-12, or even V-2.

  • на маз ураган ставился д-12а.то есть автомобильный...

  • man rev that thing up a few times

  • So your putting that into a Geo Metro, right?

  • so....whats the point?

  • я так думаю это Д-12, ставился на маз "ураган"

  • а смысл?

  • i think it is a 39L V12 Transmash engine with 48 valves, which is also used for tractor pulling

  • That is way more power than a single axle trailer can use...

  • That would make a great generator!!!

  • Comment removed

  • this engine mark V-55Y(T-55 tank - liveguns.ru/tanki/t55 ), disel, V12, 580 horses

  • id fit this on a car :)

  • @boxajr If you want that car to flip upside down sure ;D

  • Hi, what is the name of the engine. We are finding spare part of this engine, can you find any new of this type????

  • i wonder if it runs on vodka?

  • @bbdln847 Hi, can you find this type of engine in new? what is the name of the manufacturer???? we want some spare parts.

  • @bbdln847

I know you're joking, but the only thing which would run right on vodka is a low-compression gas engine.

  • @douro20 i know but its russian and russians love their vodka so it was kinda funny!

  • @bbdln847 then it would be a hybrid lol

  • @bbdln847 More like beitrut juice.

  • @bbdln847 Только на Русской водке.

  • @bbdln847 Not everything runs on Vodka ! Buhere you are right. By the way, the engine oil ist 15Wodka40...

  • @bbdln847 It definately runs on oil.

  • @bbdln847 No? it runs on fastfood from macdonalds.

  • @bbdln847 this runs on everything. Including rocket fuel and tomato soup

  • @bbdln847 actually on blood of fascist invaders

  • @bbdln847 Show-off! You were just going for the most "likes." Good job! :-)

  • @Hyena62 i just thought it was funny and nobody had said it yet so i was like i wonder?

  • T34 engine?

  • Nice engine, but how is it cooled?

  • nice

  • Looks like a derivative of the V-2 tank diesel which started life in the early 1930s. Depending on what machine these are used the actual horsepower is anywhere between 330 (de-forced, heavy artillery tractors like AT-T where endurance and torque matter most) to 500-580 (JS-2, Т-55АМ) with NO superchargers. They were also used on railroad - various locomotives, small ships, etc. As someone pointed earlier on this might be a civil version - 1D12.

  • @pgp000 you are absolutely right!

  • @pgp000 Yep, Russian twin-cam 48 valve V12 diesel... Some source said it was developed from german engine thought I can't confirm it; however the predecessor T-28's M-17 was clearly a copy of a BMW powerplant.

  • Team Truckpower use the v12 Transmash engine for Tractorpulling.... and with heavy tuning we have developed around 2800 hp with the engine.

  • Seems like the Soviet Union didn't care about emissions.

  • @3ggt3 Yes, amongst other things. I think health and safety wasn't their concern and in modern day Russia I think it still isn't.

  • @3ggt3

want see the abrams one? or the M1A2? those ones launch enough smoke like to make real the "smoker" zombie from L4D

  • What a Beautifull engine!!! There's nothing to it!! What a sound!!!

  • there is no why thats a 38 liter, way to small.

  • @mrsutton1943 The engine block of a Rolls Royce Griffon isn't much bigger and that has more or less the same displacement.

  • Oh...giant engine ...

during I watching this video that '' hard for me to breath!!!'' because of smoke!!!

    I like your video .

    Thank you

    Thailand .

  • Do a search for truckpower v12 and you willl find video´s that show you what this engine really can do :-)

  • At 2:20 BUH BUH BUH BUH

  • I belive that this is the same engine that the company "Wola" still manufactures today. If i'm right its a 38 litre v12 with 4 valves per cyl. and made from alumium and produced ~450-500hp in the 1940's and up to 1000hp in the last versions. Commonly seen in small ships from the 60-70's.

  • @wwaallee1 They even claim over 1000hp on some engines, that they make for their tanks, apparently they use some kind of turbo and supercharging on them,i didnt really understand the concept of that, but i am sure that the claimed power is there as russians are always so shy about their engines power capabilities.

  • For it's time, it's a great piece of engineering. Simple and reliable.

Germans seemed to take a different approach to their tanks.

  • thats an engine called the V2.

  • Put that monster in a Prius and try to convince others that you are enviromentally friendly. :D

  • @Bungisyo Now your talking my friend, LOL.

  • Это двигатель 1Д12

  • Hi this is a great video is that an air tank connected to the engine is that used to start the engine I think it is amazing that the trailer is mot jumping around

  • Notice that there is no silencer! Very smooth sound.

  • Had some experience with the Belarus V12 Diesel used in tractors

    Very sweet and reliable

  • It's T-55 engine mark V55!

  • just need to jack it up add some wings and a prop

  • @canonphoto lol yeah, Diesel in the air...believe me its too heavy to fly efficiently

  • @soefrie87 It was a aviation engine in russia...

  • where are you located? I have a T-34 -85 that I would LOVE to find some expert help in getting it running better

  • @diggervet

    Lucky bastard! Xp

  • @diggervet

    whats the problem u have?

  • @tpvalley nothing specific, but it seems to be leaking oil excessively. I know they all leak some, but this seems to be blowing out more than it should around one of the head gaskets. I've also got an oil pressure gauge that doesn't read reliably, so it would be nice to have a real mechanic look at it

  • @diggervet u need a russian!

  • @diggervet you would have to see if one of the head oil galleries runs by where the gasket is leaking. perhaps the gasket is starting to break down. For the oil pressure gauge, is it mechanical, if so trace the feed line and make sure it's not cripmed some where..

  • Turbo are for little slips, true power from an atmo, it's somehting else.

  • No turbocharger, t55?

  • the trailer has a bigger engine then the truck probably does

  • @Joeyad4

Yeah I'd imagine. I couldn't think this engine would weigh less than three short tons, even air cooled.

  • What a wonderful piece of Russian engineering.........seldom seen ....anywhere. Thanks for sharing!

  • Nice!Doesn't appear to have a flywheel on it though, I presume there's one inside the crankcase?

What and awsome sound though, I presume it's from a T34?

  • @steamwally It must have a flywheel in order to run. It's located inside the bell housing on the right hand side.

  • Well thats what I thought, but couldnt see it.

  • @1100HondaCB Actually a V12 doesnt need a flywheel to run, even a V8 runs smooth at idle without it. Yes ive tried. ;)

  • @KapteinOpel Thanks for letting me know. I never even thought of that! I suppose the V12 gets its ballance due to the varying arranged mass of the crankshaft webs.

  • @1100HondaCB Thats where any engine gets its balance. The flywheel provides inertia to keep pace between the power strokes, but a V12 has so many of them per revolution that it runs smooth anyway.
