  • @lokloke77

    Hi

If you use all the ingredients exactly and follow the direction properly, nothing wrong should happen. Whenever it comes to baking, no compromise with any ingredients. Let me know if you tried to do something different and might be able to help you more. I also suggest to use only SWANSON cake flour for this recipe.

  • hi bhavna ......

  • @tanu717

    Hi

add 1 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp baking soda.

  • hi bhavana,

awwwww recipe specially for me as i dont eat eggs......

have a question ,what if i dont want to use the ready cake mix and use the all purpose flour instead?what wud be the measurement for it?

  • @tanu717

    Hi

If you use all purpose flour, then add 2 tbsp of corn starch for 1 cup all purpose flour. Basically you make cake flour at home. Rest of the ingredients remains the same. but remember Cake flour produces a more tender cake than all-purpose. Hope this helps. enjoy!

  • I really liked the video and how the ingredients are posted at the beginning. The cup cakes look delicious!!!!

  • @ygar305

  • @jeel47

    Hi

Happy birthday from all of us...I wish you could have made this cake with Cake flour if it's particularly for your hubby's birthday. It's good to give a try only when you making on regular day. Trying on hubby's birthday is not good idea. I would make the recipe I have already tried and came out great. But anyways, good luck.

  • can i use all purpose flr instead of cake flr...?wat kind of icing have u used?

  • @jeel47

    Hi

Yes, you can use all purpose flour. Add 1 tbsp on corn starch or arrow root powder to bring out great cake texture. I used ready icing.

  • instead of flax seed if i want to add egg,how many eggs to add.how to do it with egg.

  • @gsupraja

  • I allways make cake for my dad and well he l♥ves it, but without icing. he is a chokoholic ^^. thx for this recipe.

  • @oKeegan

    Hi

    Thanx for sharing.

  • Thank you Bhavana for a Fab. cupcake recipe, when you say 'Flax sees' do you mean 'Flex Seeds' please clerify as it maybe something different in UK. many thanks

  • @vanusai

    Hi

It is Flax seeds indeed. I don't know if Flex seeds exist or not. Falx seeds are extensively used for vegan recipes as well. So you will be able to find them even in the UK. Try at Indian grocers as well. They also carry it. Thanx

  • Hi Bhavna, I was wondering was the icing.. home made or ready made.. if u did make it at home then could u please share that recipe as well.. it would be extremely helpful.. I am very fond of baking n with a lot of vegetarian friends. this recipe becomes an immediate hit in my group.. so therefore wud appreciate ure help

    Thanking you

    Poorti

  • @poortichopra

    Hi

I used ready one but I am going to post some icing recipes on my website that are really easy to make from my mother-in-law's recipe book.

  • wow...your cupcakes look amazingly superb.

  • @anshumee1

    Hi

    Thanx

  • Hi bhavna, can you please tell me when you say 1 cup do you mean the standard cup size which is 250 ml or 8 OZ or you just taking the cup that you have available with you because in cakes and cup cakes measurement matters a lot and we might end up in different result if we take just any cup size.

  • @anshumee1

    Hi

I use measurement cups not any ordinary for specially baking since I also understand that baking should be done right way otherwise you end up having disaster...Good question to ask so we can share with others as well.

  • @SuperVeggieDelight Thanks a lot Bhavna..

  • loved it. thabk u so much for the receipe. I have a question, I am a graduate student and I dont own the blender/mixer u showed. But I have a boss hand blender ( its from inida, i think u might have seen it/used it). Will it help in blending thill the mixture becomes fluffy?

  • @Maggie131984

    Hi

Any blender can work but with some hand blenders you might get tired if you have to blend a lot. And particularly this kind of cake recipes where you have whilsk a lot to make butter, egg, sugar fluffly and later to mix flour very well. But basically any whisker works good. Good luck

  • @Maggie131984 Hi Maggie, did you tried out the boss hand blender for making these cup cakes. Even I dont have the whisk so I was also thinking to use boss. Let me know how it turned out for you.

  • very pretty...thanks for the recipe...:)
