Cheers! I spent some time in the Salt Hill in 20 years ago. Got stuck with no money and no options. The people were wonderful and took care of me while I got my shit together. Now I am a doctor in the US (I am from Georgia originally). Been to Oz once around Mt. St Isa Mines. Loved it there.
I was in Galway myself in the eighties. Went to UCG (now NUIG) and partied many a night away in Salt Hill especially with some mad Meds. Now in Bondi Beach freezing pipes.
