@jazzj2 This isnt supposed to make sence, its just for cool effect. Here is the origin of all playable races:

Humans- Vrykul (titan-created race) that were afflicted with the curse of flesh [CoF].

Dwarves- Earthen (titan-created race) that were afflicted by CoF.

Gnomes- Mechagnomes (titan-created race) that were afflicted by CoF.

Night Elves- created when the ancient race known as Kaldorei (the children of Elune) drank from the Well of Eternity and were awakened.

@SorgOfficial That's actually somewhat of a disputed theory. There is both evidence to support that night elves descended and evidence against it. Sadly Blizzard has made no official statement on the subject. But as far as lore goes, there used to be an ancient race that were known as the Kaldorei that were the predecessors to the night elves. However this is often confused as night elves also call themselves Kaldorei.
