  • looks so sick like its floating, nice!

  • anoying tv!!! or is it just me =/

  • wen do this tv com out in the u.s an how much its gunna be

  • philips has the best tv's

but this is not the best i think

the lighting is to light and thats anoying

    but ambilight is real good

  • the tv sux as performance , a low 5000 contrast ...

  • =) ....

  • waste of money !

  • Ijoch88... Why post the same un-constructive message on more than one video?

  • try epiLight software for a MoMoLight module

  • wow that is just so gimmicky and annoying. takes too much attention of watching the actual TV. GAY>

  • i guess it looks better but this camera just sucks or something. btw if that wall wouldn't be white it wouldn't be so shiny from the back. but i guess it would be stupid to buy this on home :D

  • i agree

  • I love this shit.

It's flickering in this vid.. but that's because the fps rate of the camera and the refresh rate of the lights are almost equal.

It's lovely in real life and it really adds something imho :)

  • I got this tv but the big 42Inch 1 Its really good

  • i have ;)

  • The chic at 0:40 is well sexy!

  • whats the name of the song?? does any one know???

  • Being able to turn it off is no excuse for this stupid gimmick. Someone at Philips must be a BIG William Castle fan.

  • wikkid

  • I know asking for what the music is called, is asking for too much.

But can anyone point me to some good similar music/songs, that have the same epic instrumental feel as the song in this preview.

  • what is the epic music playing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you can just shut it off ;)

  • nothing more but larger bil to pay. how to save energy lol!

  • Dutch invention.

  • these shit look good if u live in a club i would hate that shit during a football game

  • but you can just turn it off dude .. you don't have to use it :)

  • that ambilight is way too distracting.

  • yes

  • explore all your wildest fantasies! (meetyourfling) c o m

    lamarque

    419470

  • Watching television with those lights will be extremely irritating.

  • SO LAME

  • nice but still it´s a philips(CRAP TV)

  • Actually marfadepretz it think you don't know much about tv's. philips are spot on with great picture.

I think you maybe confused with philips products of yore!

  • What is the name of the music ???

does anyone knows if this product will be sell in the USA or latinamerica

  • fuck PSV Eindhoven !!! ^^

  • Philips PSV Eindhoven !!!

  • I thought this would be a tacky idea but then we got one delivered for display use at work and it looks stunning. The frame and the ambilight aren't too overpowering and work really well, and the picture quality is immense. At times it's like looking out of a window.

It stops a lot of customers dead in their tracks. I love it to bits, it's a shame that the demo we run doesn't have sound on it to utilise the 26 speakers it has built in!

  • Where can I buy 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In the UK you can buy them at Currys, that's the only place I've seen one because I work there!

  • which one

  • No offence but I'm not going to tell random people on the internet where I work! It will be in any Currys Superstore and loads of shops in London have them.

  • currys superstore. whats that? there are a few massive currys stores beside me and none of them have this tv

  • Hello, one can say to me like musik is called in video is played? mfg ambilight88

  • Creates ambiance??

It creates THE MOST HORRIBLE thing I've ever seen.

  • Wow there are some brilliant people in this world. Anyone know if they're already making movies compatible with this? We went from black and white to color to flatscreens, now this.Who knows maybe 3D in the future? As a moviefan I'm excited.

  • Any movie or tv-program is compatible with this. The TV does all the work.

  • There is 3D TV-without any 3D glasses. Just youtube it.

  • Ambilight is a good idea for showroom displays but just a waste of money and electricity as a TV or home theathre display.

  • PERFECT!

  • I can't look away... It's very captivating.

  • This seems like a complete waste of electricity and thought. What use does backlighting a TV do?

  • It creates ambiance, increases the contrast of the picture, and reduces eye strain compared to watching the screen in the dark. Plus it just looks so awesome.

  • Philips make the best products. This is a fantastic idea, is increases viewing area, is fantastivc for movies in a dark room. Have you ever seen a philips ambilight tv?

  • It's not because it's 120ish LEDs, and LEDs don't use a lot of energry now, do they! :)

  • 126 LEDs sorry

  • 126 LEDs sorry

  • I like how it works, but I think it would be more aesthetic if the lights behind filled out the edges so it matches the shape of the frame.

  • If people find that distracting they must have serious cases of ADD...I think it looks amazing.

  • Looks very distracting. Might look cool in the dark, but what about day time?

  • Go check out a Philips Ambilight TV (previous model) in action at a Best Buy then let me know if it is distracting, because I went and tried it out and guess what is was not distracting. The salesperson was the only thing distracting me! :)

  • it can obviously be turned off.

  • This event made the TV seem dramatic, and it worked. This new Philips TV looks absolutely amazing!
