Actually protein helps in muscle repair, OF COURSE! But before bed you will want a casein or blend protein so that it takes more time to be absorbed by your body (since whey takes like 30m...). That way, while you sleep, your body will have this slow protein to be absorbed, thus will be fed for more time.
Whey its whey, its fast protein so taking one scoop before bed will "heal" you for that...about 30m.

Actually, WarEagle makes alot of sense and has some good advice. The joke is on you fools who think you need this and that (pills and powders) to get results. Eat good food, lift heavy, and you'll get muscles. Easy. Furthermore, I actually DO often carry some chicken breast in a mini cooler to keep in the car for when I need it. No big deal. That being said, Muscle Milk does taste delicious.
Chozen, 2 scoops equals 25g, the regular is recommended as a meal replacment, and it does have healthy fats. those fats have less calories than regular. regular fat has 10 cal. per gram, MM fat has 8 cal. per gram.

Thats why making a good power shake at certain times (doesnt have to be before bed or in morning) is more time efficient and helps get our daily intake of protien in. no it doesn't. first time i used it i lost about 1.5 pounds of fat, but i had an intensive workout. It doesn't have much sugars in it and you shouldn't take it more than once or twice a day depending on who you are

Actually protein helps in muscle repair, OF COURSE! But before bed you will want a casein or blend protein so that it takes more time to be absorbed by your body (since whey takes like 30m...). That way, while you sleep, your body will have this slow protein to be absorbed, thus will be fed for more time.
Whey its whey, its fast protein so taking one scoop before bed will "heal" you for that...about 30m.

I was under the assumption that the protein before bed would help with muscle repair and growth due to it being coupled with you 8 hours of sleep.

Actually, WarEagle makes alot of sense and has some good advice. The joke is on you fools who think you need this and that (pills and powders) to get results. Eat good food, lift heavy, and you'll get muscles. Easy. Furthermore, I actually DO often carry some chicken breast in a mini cooler to keep in the car for when I need it. No big deal. That being said, Muscle Milk does taste delicious.

i tried it out muslce milk light cookies n cream delicous and only cost 23 bucks... it had the good kinda fat your body needs, and it has 25g protein per scoop, i put 1 scoop in the morning, and then 1 scoop before bedtime ur set... u can use it after workouts too, but i use whey protein by on after workouts... 2 scoops 50g protein... so around 150g protein from ma supplements, and the rest you just get from food eat whole grains and lean meats... muscle milk light wont get you fat it work great
