yes i found it this week and watched it a few times, i think when mercer says "is this person alive? is he a male?" it's an indirect reference to him, feeling stuck in the beginning and how things changed when he met kate, like he is more alive now. pretty story, i loved it.

um... juno, garden state and such are indie but are produced and dstributed by the big guys such as fox searchlight ("indie" side of fox) but this movie although is great doesnt have that kinda of backup. distribution wise
