It's great to see that there's substantial young talent to keep the trad jazz styles alive. These kids' performance is amazing, and I wonder how their music will sound in 5, 6, 7 years!
These guys are great especially considering their age. It is inspiring and encouraging to see young people playing acoustic swing jazz music. I noticed a harsh critical comment about playing off a Grappelli transposition. The "kid" is playing naturally and some of the greatest musicians learned by copying their favorite masters. Also, he does not copy the solo note for note and fits in plenty of his own style. great stuff, thanks Robin Nolan for including these guys.
