This video on the Ukrainian starvation fails to mention the percentage of Soviet Jews involved in carrying out the Soviet crimes. One of the reasons the Ukrainian and other Soviet crimes is downplayed is not only because the victims were not Jewish but because so many of the perpetrators themselves were Jewish.

The images of "dead Ukrainians", btw, has nothing to do with Ukrainians, they are actually scenes of Russian famine in 1921, when 14 countries invaded Russia, and a film done by Ukrainian imigrants in US denounced by fraud in the 80's.
There is an excelent book that denounces and proofs the fraud, it's called "Fraud, famine and fascism", from Douglas Tottle.

This video on the Ukrainian starvation fails to mention the percentage of Soviet Jews involved in carrying out the Soviet crimes. One of the reasons the Ukrainian and other Soviet crimes is downplayed is not only because the victims were not Jewish but because so many of the perpetrators themselves were Jewish.

I realize most people don’t have the time or patience to study 20th century Russian history in a systematic and objective manner, but it's still strikes me how gullible people are. The simpler "the Truth" that is fed to them, the more likely they are to swallow it without question.
The Soviet Story is a DISGUSTING film, biased and hateful towards Russians. It has HOTHING to do with actual scholarly history and is clearly a propaganda film. It’s also unbelievably HYPOCRITICAL.

Many grievances against Russia and USSR are well deserved but that doesn’t justify mutilating history. If you want to see a real documentary about this topic, try the following: "Stalin: Man of Steel" or "World War Two: Behind Closed Doors" (by the BBC). You will find these don't spare any blame but do it in a much more objective manner.

That's a lot more than can be said for any EU country, the US, Turkey etc.

I feel sorry for the people that currently call themselves Communists. Its amazing just how far the education system has failed. I've seen students wearing communist symbol t-shirts and not a single teacher will make reference to it. And they will lecture for an entire class period on how 'the Russians liberated the Jews while Americans cold-heartedly nuked the Japanese.'
