i have a ds lite and i must admit i love the matte finish on the dsi and the blue l.e.d,s, and the internet is ok i suppose but i can just put it on to my r4 and have the internet for free aswell! but it is a good console the only bad thing i can say is i dont see the point in the camera, yes it will be fun for a few days but from then on it probz gets shit! im fed up with nintendo doing crappy exuses as a new release, first ds then ds lite( just slimmer) and now the dsi(lets shuv a camera on it
This is quite a nice little gadget ^-^ The internet on it isn't too bad, it's not fast, but not that slow wither. It's quite fun to surf the web on your bed. The sound and camera apps are fun to mess around with too. I've got one and I <3 it!

Nintendo usually makes quality systems, but some bad eggs do get out. I should know since I had to take back two DS lites before I finally settled on a working model.

I have had this for about 2 hours, and it is way better than the lite. It is faster, sleeker, bigger screens, slimmed down, has an SD card slot, has internet, a music player, and a sound recorder, tons of fun effects for changing pictures, a new home screen, and more... So you my friend, are an idiot. Everyone trust me, it is worth getting the new one!

You know, it's nice to know that Nintendo knows and acknowledges the fact that many gamers.. are over weight. And they try to do something to help that and try to make it fun.
I just hope they don't stop making games for DS, like... where DS games that are being built for the DSi, don't work on the DS. Like, for example, the next pokemon game, it won't work on DS Lites, only DSi's.
The DSi is going to fail and suck balls. Mainly because tons of people still play their GBA games on their DS... and for that, they're not going to go out and buy a DSi because it's too expensive for too little. It's going to suck balls so deal with it.
Tons of people do, there are a shit ton better GBA games then there are DS games. And thats why a lot of people aren't getting it, because of lack of GBA. And don't say "well you can buy them off the DS store anyways".. which is bullshit because if you already own the game, you can't use it, and you have to buy it again.
And my DS can already look at photo's, play music, play videos, browse the internet and all that stuff, minus the camera. But why spend 170 bucks on a digital camera?

An R4 is a Flashcart that allows you to play NDS roms that you can download for free on the internet. All you need to do is download the rom off internet and drag N drop into the R4. So basically, R4 is like a memory stick for the DS.And this is how you can get games like pokemon platinum before it comes out.
Nintendo DSi also Blocks R4 and Other Popular Flash Carts. If you dont know what's an R4 than you people are MISSING OUT ON A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SAVE 1000s of dollars in DS games. Just google R4 and you'll understand.

But you do know the DSI is a SCAM rite? Like i said before, the DSI is just a DS LITE with a camera that you don't really need. It's coming out when the DS Lite sales are decreasing. The reason it's not out yet for now is because the sellers don't want it to interfere with the sales. They removed the GBA slot because it's "old school." But there is a camera installed, and it can communicate with Wii. Also, they have something like a Wii Shop. But it's with the DS. I like it because of the download features. It's more like wii. You can download games, but unlike wii, they;re actually good games!
I like the camera features, with warp and stuff. That'll be fun. And with the SD slot you can put them on bebo and facebook and stuff.
The graphics, although MUST be the same as the DS Lite, seem somewhat improved.

There is a big difference between what is now known as "piracy" and stealing. Stealing does constitute a direct loss of sales for a company. Stealing entails physically going to a store, taking something off a shelf, and walking out of the store without paying for it. In doing so, the thief takes tangible goods out of the store.

Here's from TeamCyclops site:
"There is still a great deal of work to be done before we can even decide if a DSi compatible device is viable or not. The DSi features a completely redesigned security system which renders all current devices incompatible and at this stage it is unknown if there is any reliable way to overcome the new measures."
To those asking, the DSi's sole purpose is to break such devices. If you want homebrew or backups, looks like you'll be waiting for the mod chip.

An R4 is a Flashcart that allows you to play NDS roms that you can download for free on the internet. All you need to do is download the rom off internet and drag N drop into the R4. So basically, R4 is like a memory stick for the DS.And this is how you can get games like pokemon platinum before it comes out.

Nintendo DSi also Blocks R4 and Other Popular Flash Carts. If you dont know what's an R4 than you people are MISSING OUT ON A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SAVE 1000s of dollars in DS games. Just google R4 and you'll understand.

But you do know the DSI is a SCAM rite? Like i said before, the DSI is just a DS LITE with a camera that you don't really need. And PLUS, the DSI's battery life is cut in half from DS lites because of the new processors and the useless crap that nintendo shoved inside the dsi. We BUY the DS for the games not for the BS that nintendo tends to cram in. In my opinion the DSI is not worth the buy. Until they make some MAJOR improvements like graphics, i will not buy the dsi anytime soon.

It's coming out when the DS Lite sales are decreasing. The reason it's not out yet for now is because the sellers don't want it to interfere with the sales. They removed the GBA slot because it's "old school." But there is a camera installed, and it can communicate with Wii. Also, they have something like a Wii Shop. But it's with the DS. I think it probably was a good choice.

If everyone does that, then They can't make money on games. So they stop making games. Your favorite game company goes out of business because you steal! Think about that befor you purchase an R4. Your not saving thousands a dollars. Your stealing them!

Take companies like circuit city, KB Toys, Mervyn's and Linens 'N Things for example, they went out of business because of competition from best buy and walmart. DSI may be a bit more portable than its DS Lite predecessor - 12-percent thinner in fact - but if youre expecting to use that portability to take it further afield for even more gaming then the estimated battery life ratings may be a disappointment. While the DS Lite could last for 15-19hrs on a single charge at minimum brightness, that figure drops to 9-14hrs in the DSi; at highest brightness youll get a mere 3-4hrs from the DSi, whereas the DS Lite would have entertained you for 5-8hrs.

At low brightness, the DSi will last 8-12hrs compared to the DS Lites 10-15hrs. At medium it will last 6-9hr - versus 7-11hrs from the older handheld - while at high that drops to 4-6hrs. The one improvement is charging time, with the DSi taking 2.5hrs to fully recharge while the DS Lite takes 3hrs.

I'm not going to get it cause I bought a DS about 4 months ago! Looks like a waste of money it should have came out sooner then I might of bought it. Instead I'm going to buy a PSP slim cause it has basically the same features and its cheaper, and got different games! Nintendo better come up with something different then a DS! I mean seriously they have made 3 different DS types! What next? A Wii that can play DVDs for any extra $50??
