  • velociraptors were only 2 feet tall and had feather, jurrasic park was a fail

  • i always hated this kid in the movie. Cheeky douche.

  • thanks to chuck norris we dont have to deal with Velociraptors anymore

  • clever girl

  • Quick!! Kill it with shitty music!!

  • I noticed an error in the new game. In the movie there were only 3 raptors, 2 of which died, yet suddenly there's a whole pack in the game.

Still awesome, just found it a bit odd...

  • @Someguyhere111 Yea i played the game too. From what i can remeber, the excuse the scientist lady gave, was that there was a 2nd pack of three in the incubation/nesting area where the Troodon's were born and raised as well. IT was a seperate part of the island, hence why they are only seen in that area.

  • @Someguyhere111 you also have to take into account that the raptors possibly escaped before hence muldoon knowing how fast they run (possibly) and that the dinosaur eggs grant finds are raptor prints

  • OMG, an AMV? really?

  • Comment removed

  • Alpha Draconians are almost same...

there are parts of realitty in here.

  • CLEVER GIRL

  • thumbs up if you typed in velociraptor because of Jenna Marbles vidoes!!

  • so many people say that these are dinosaurs. but as alan stated in the third movie: they are genetically engineered themepark monsters. even tho the raptors were a bit to big, what would u expect really? a movie based just on the T-rex running around eating people? comon we all know by now that the t-rex dont hunt. its bone structure is to weak to run faster then 20. but lets not spoil a truly great movie franchise? honestly who cant love jurassic park?

  • i call them the wolf versions of T-rex! xD

  • In every JP Movie: Welcome on the island. Oh my God! look! A dinosaur! Run Run Run Eaten by a dino Eaten by a Dino Raptor End.
  • Dinobot was born thanks to them!

  • "clever girl"

  • This video was good until that terrible music was inserted for no reason.

  • I was thinking recently about what would happen if humans and dinosaurs lived side-by-side, like, who'd be the dominant race?

Then I realised it was an awful question, because the dinosaurs unfortunately simply wouldn't stand a chance.

  • @armatageshanks66 "I was thinking recently about what would happen if humans and dinosaurs lived side-by-side, like, who'd be the dominant race?

Then I realised it was an awful question, because the dinosaurs unfortunately simply wouldn't stand a chance"

Why? Crocodiles still live, bears - very dangerous for humans - live also.

  • @katerinazhilina Most of them would continue to survive, but man (even primitive man) would still be the more deadly animal.

  • @davidls11 I'm not so sure about that.

  • @Revenwazhere I suppose the trick would be surviving long enough to invent gunpowder.

  • velociraptor dont give a shit

  • Always reminds me of Troodon at 1:12

  • Velociraptor is my fav dinosaur, i mean, they were so intelligent. I play a game called Spore and i made a creature very like the velociraptor, then i got into a pack. All together we were 4. We extinguished races in seconds :o

  • Velociraptors or Deinonychus, whatever.

None of them were that big.

  • @xXSugarBeeXx none? thats dissapointing

  • @xXSugarBeeXx Utahraptors were even bigger than the JP Raptors. So were Achillobator.

  • @Evolfurnace I know that, but I didn't mention the Utahraptor.

  • Excellent!! Jurassic Park dinos set to Iron Maiden!!!

  • thumbs up if you are a member of/ at least know of the velociraptor awareness coalition! im expecting a turnout of maybe 3 lol

  • what movie at 0:32 ?

  • @jj1x0 Jurassic park: The lost world

  • velociraptor, deinonychus, utahraptor, wathever... it's a sci-fi movie, not a documentary

  • Clever girl...

  • lol when i was a kid and saw jp these things scared the shit outta me

  • That was awsome! But why did the word "Suck" appear on my screen three times?

  • goddamit i was wearing headphones

  • its always those damn raptors!

  • These guys are more like deinonychus

  • 1:18 who want to be first guy running?

  • Why?

  • 0:32-0:36 i love how they leap on people and eat their faces!

  • If people have read the book then they know that a character had said that Deinonychus was now considered a Velociraptor. Also, the first two movies were made before the it was discovered that Raptors had feathers. Lastly, who cares? its not like is the first movie to be inaccurate. I love dinosaurs and i loved the movie. Whether you share that entusiasm or not is on you. ^_^

  • i am a dinosaur noob and this is deinonychus not velociraptor and some velociraptors actualy had feathers

p.s this was just information that is a waste of time to read

  • Hollywood fucks with all history unless it is important to THEM. Fuck Hollywood, download movies.

  • young jake gylenhall?

  • Guys remember Jurassic park dinos are geneticly engineered for park standards:

When InGen first made their raptors they were 50% Veloci, 50% Deino. that resulted in the raptors we saw in the 3rd film, who's intelligence (actually analyze humans and kill for revenge) was declared to dangerous for the parks. The next set were the ones we saw in the 1st and 2nd films. 30% Veloci, 70% Deino, These were larger, more brute, not extremely smart, but still able to problem solve. So there

  • @ultilinium8 So you read the books too.

  • @ultilinium8 then we should call it veloconycus

  • and that's why you don't fuck with raptors! P :D

  • THIS IS Y FAV DINO EEKKK I LOVE RAPTORS XD and the song REAL FITS THE VIDEO

  • the song doesnt fit. ughh smh

  • Velociraptors didnt go extinct. They built a huge fleet of space ships and left earth. They fly around the galexy conqureing planets.I for one will bow to our dinosaur overlords when they return to their homeworld.

  • @florenmage VELOCIRAPTURE!!!!!!

  • @ultilinium8 Very well done. Well done indeed.

  • @florenmage lololol

  • @florenmage

And the leader of all of those will be the Philosoraptor

  • @yamimary Holy shit you could be right!=O I never thought of that!

  • @florenmage I would like to remind them that as a broadcaster I have influence.

  • @florenmage and then the dinosaucers landed on earth in search of help as they battle genghis rex and the evil tyrannos

  • @florenmage lol

  • may the evolution bless the raptors!!!!!!

  • Haha i like the black guys death had a gun in his hand and for the whole 5 seconds he saw the raptor in the air coming at him, instead of shooting he just screams... i love it hhaahah what a black guy

  • it's unbelievable how well the lyrics of this maiden song fits the velociraptors

  • @iou1k9ok yeah like chickens with longer tails and least feathers

  • HORRIBLE SONG!

  • iron maiden + raptors. isee no possibility for fail in this scenario.

  • I think I can safely say that the JP movies would've been a lot less cool if these clever girls weren't in them

  • HAPPY VELOCIRAPTURE, EVERYONE!

  • Yes, I do know that it is spelled"Dilophosaurus" and not "Dilophsaurus".

  • Their head was large to hold onto prey or leave a death wound like an Komodo dragon. Their body was smaller with a long tail to counterbalance their large head, so they could run up to 30 mph. They used the claws on their feet to attack, also as a vice to hold onto their prey and cause the suffering animal to give up without a fight.

  • Not size.

    That's just for intimidation.

  • Look, they're as small as they should be. Check 0:43 through 0:46 of the video.

These are small compared to Utah raptors. More like the size of a large dog if you ask me.

It's their strengh and agility that make them lethal as a group when hunting.

  • I disagree, Utah raptors were larger. Look at their size when running in a natural motion vs. rearing up to intimidate. Their size was actual, only they rear up to intimidate, just like a cobra spreads its' neck out. Another example is the dilophsaurus, which would also not only spread its flaps out but also spit venom.

Velociraptors rear up before an attack to look big, intimidate prey. Not to mention that they are light weight because of reptile characterisctics and strong with heavy bones.

  • i hate gay music

  • what the hell.... velociraptor was the size of a chicken and ate insects for goodness sake, jurassic park is the ultimate example of how fucked up hollywood is -_-

  • @SHIRT yeah, thanks man, I had recently watched parts one and two, but have yet to watch three again.

  • Does JP3 take place on site B?

  • Honestly, I think they should switch Deinonychus with Velociraptor, THIS is a Velociraptor, This is what I picture, Not some pussy feathered turkey creature, am i wrong people?

  • @ishimorikuma

agreed, but velociraptors still weren't THAT big...

  • WTF

    IS DIS REAL

  • thumbs up if "when cheese fails" brought you here!

  • 0:32 OMGGUY!

  • these ones aren't velociraptors but raher deininychus but are the velociraptors the one with feathers ?

  • @matxloco deinonychus had feathers too. But they didn't know that when this movie was made. But yes, the raptors in the movie are actually deinonychus. But Velociraptor sounds better.

  • @matxloco We didn't know raptors had feathers till like 5 years ago.

  • They were also much smaller. They made the model of a deininychus and enlarged that a bit.

I still think these were the coolest in the movies,

  • @nameguy101. Considering they had a team of palaeontologists on their team. I think they knew that velociraptor wasn't what they were creating. But for a novel and then a blockbuster film, velociraptor is a much better name than deinonychus. Everyone loves the film and ifs left to us sad twats to argue the finer points.

  • @batistaker123 Yeah, the velociraptors in these movies are more like Utah raptors in real life.

  • Clever girl

  • Funny thing is the Velociraptors are actually very small. They are as tall as your knee down but the movie wanted them to look more ferocious.

  • I want a 2 hour long movie of dinosaurs eating people while iron maiden plays...in 3D

  • Comment removed

  • @D20Seanathan imax 3d

  • @D20Seanathan wow, I HAVE to try this!

  • great song...tricked me too...

  • iron maiden + velociraptors = exlposion of awesomeness

  • I never noticed this before but when the velocirapter is looking up towards the vents at 2:56 the top its not light comming through the vents, ints actually the nucleotide sequence for DNA its showing the amino acid bases ATCG. Cool!

  • Raptors are so scary, I couldn't imagine how it would be if they still lived.

  • @CatchedByAngels actually raptors are no where near that big. They are 1.6 - 2 foot tall at the hip, and covered with feathers. They basically look like giant chickens with tails. If Spielberg, and Crichton actually stayed true to the actual size and look of the raptor, people would have fell out of their chairs in laughter.

  • Comment removed

  • @Deathklok101 I know, Spielberg and Chrichton changed their size and appearance to make it look more dramatic, haha. But not all raptors were small, the biggest raptor was the Utahraptor which was as big as a human and it could be 7 meters long. But it also looked like a bird :P

  • @CatchedByAngels Yeah I know, I did my homework on Raptors. Lol. Yeah the Utahraptor is about the same weight as a Grizzly Bear though, and it's been thought that they get up to 11 meters long. So yeah, a little more intimidating than a giant chicken. And event thought it had feathers, It'd still kill you in a flash. Otherwise yeah, if something like Jurrasic Park did ever exsist, DON'T CLONE CARNIVORES! I mean that should just be a cardinal rule.

  • @Deathklok101 Well, if the scientists just had some dinosaur blood, it would be possible to clone dinosaurs. It would be cool to see a real dinosaur... if anyone had dared to see one. But anyway it's illegal to clone animals, and the dinosaurs are gone forever and nobody can bring them back.

But we still have crocodiles and lizards... and ostriches as the present raptors :P

  • @CatchedByAngels It would be quite a bit more difficult than that with the technology we have currently. There are fundamental codes in DNA that we wouldn't be able to find in just their blood.

  • @iluvme4never Ye, but if they had a cell from a dinosaurr, then it would be possible to clone them.

That's how they cloned Dolly the sheep.

  • @CatchedByAngels From what I've read, the Velociraptor in JP was really Deinonychus. It was based on a book which classed Deinonychus as a type of Velociraptor, because they were similar and the Velociraptor was discovered first. Crichton then put this in his novel, and then when they made the movie they kept it that way, even though by then Deinonychus was considered a separate species. They still increased the size of the models slightly and altered the snout shape.

  • Velociraptors are my favorite dinosaur and these movies are amazing! the dinosaurs DON'T look gay, DONT!!!!!! LOVE IT GOOD VIDEO

  • this is not velociraptor... it´s deinonychus

  • @jefersonmatos Yeah, I think either during or after the movie, they realized they were all wrong. They based the models after deinonychus

  • @jefersonmatos there are raptors that have the same big-ass claws on it's feet like the deinonychus, but not as big

  • @jefersonmatos

The name Velociraptor sounds more intimidating than Deinonychus. That's why Hollywood changed it.

  • @jefersonmatos yeah but the film would have been shorter if the raptors were smaller than turkeys.

  • @RXdash78 HAHAHAHAHAHA. True

  • @jefersonmatos

Yeah, apparently they changed the name, cause it would sound cooler Ö

  • @jefersonmatos Its a fake Velociraptor made up by holywood.Real raptors were much smaller. Its really sad that not many ppl know that.=(Yes what they showed was alot more symilar to Deinonychus. But isnt that what hollywood always does.Nothing is good enough as it was they have to make it bigger more threatening and paint flames doun the side of it huh.

  • @jefersonmatos If you went to this movie expecting that it be accurate you should have thought about the fact that we can't even make accurate animatronic raptors. By the way it was a movie. Get over it. And finally, deinonychyus was of the raptor family, so um stop ruining a good movie with your accuracies. I imagine you are the person who goes to a movie about the Civil War and gets mad that the general it follows in all its fiction boasting isn't a real general from history.

  • @jefersonmatos WTF? Why did they change the name? Deinonychus sounds BETTER! You could even just shorten it to "Nonyc" and it would stil sound fittingly kick-ass :D

  • @jefersonmatos Technically the big female is the size of a Utahraptor.

  • Velociraptors are the best

  • that kid must be scared for life after that speech!

  • Awesome!

  • the movie is wrong, velocer raptos were NOT that big the biggest would have been lucky enough to come up to your waist! the ones in the movies ar emore like utah raptors!

  • proof that black people are phsykick, he saw that thing coming before it even came out of the grass

  • IRON MAIDEN

  • Even if the real velociraptors were small, wouldn't you freak if you saw a pack of them running your way?

  • In Michael Crichton´s novel the Raptors are even worst than in the film... they are such a nightmare

  • @SiGnOXR I'm so glad I saw the movie before I read the book, I would hate the movie now!! There's soooo much that they left out. They could easilly make a fourth movie out of it! :D lol

  • LOL

  • clever girl.

  • those are velociraptors but they are made bigger so they look more dangerous and scary.

  • they fucking would kill a black man 1st ...lol : D

  • these are NOT velociraptor. These are Deinonychus, stupid Jurassic Park didn't know that velociraptors had feathers and were only about 2 and a half feet tall...

  • @Tazy50 they only followed science a little because 2 foot tall raptors wouldnt LOOK good. plus, the movie is old,. scientists were JUST finding out abt the feathers and abt their tails being quite stiff etc. both things that wouldnt translate over to a hollywood film very well.

  • @Kishwick I think I would be terrified if some BIG chickens with long teeth and a whipping tail ran after me in packs :O

  • @Tazy50 lol yes but wouldnt a pack of 5/6ft tall ones be even worse?

  • @Kishwick yes, but then i would know that those aren't velociraptors xD

  • @Tazy50 haha I'm sure Michael Crichton knew that already, but he mentioned in the book that they were genetically engineered to be bigger, and scarier! A lot of people tend to miss that part lol

  • @Tazy50 Hammond wanted them to be bigger and more exciting for the guests, is what it said in the book. Crichton made his own little tweaks here and there, lol. Including the fact that the T-rex was actually a rather pathetic scavenger in real life, but in the movie it was a fierce, terrifying predator! These small tweaks just made the story more exciting :)

  • @Rosiegrl321 ok in understand that, but why didn't he just include deinonychus for these velociratprs and a Spinosaurus or Giganotosaurus for the TRex?

  • @Tazy50 Yeah, I don't know lol. Maybe he was really just trying to capture Hammond's child like personality :) After all, Hammond was supposed to be a dreamer. He wanted the dinosaurs that everyone knew the name and shuddered when they heard it. But when he found out the actual size and reality of the dinosaurs, he wanted to improve them, to make them AWESOME! lol You have a good point though! I wish he had included more dinosaurs. Oh, you know there's a spinosaurus in the 3rd movie? :D

  • @Rosiegrl321 haha yeah, but spino gets lots of hate from trex fans though

  • 0:36

no wonder the people in the background don't like the view of velociraptors having sex

  • dinos are hype

  • i love this, people fighting over species of dinosaur but saying things like "are you a fucking idiot?", and does it really matter the accuracy of the species in a movie/book that still supported the theory that tyranosaurs could'nt see still objects?

  • Utahraptor, in fact, almost exactly matches the JP raptors. It's size is correct (look at the raptors in the film, they're about 20 ft from nose to tail), they're skull is the correct shape, it all fits. However, due to recent discoveries, we now know that they should, indeed, have been covered in feathers. What irks me, personally, is how everyone illustrates raptors with bright, parrot-like plumage. Now, would a predator that wishes to remain unseen have rainbow feathers all over it? No.

  • @RincewindsHat66 actually, they are more like the Deinonychus..not utahraptors. utahraptors are much larger .

  • @Kishwick On the Wikipedia page, they have a very nice picture showing the size of best-described specimen of Utahraptor. It's 23 feet long and (judging by the diagram) around 5 feet at the hip. While this is a bit bigger than the JP specimens, the size difference is negligible. Larger specimens, reaching 35 ft or more, remain undescribed, since their remains are extremely fragmentary. Deinonuychus was only 3 ft at the hip, far too short to match the JP raptor's impressive stature.

  • @RincewindsHat66 yeah i just looked up the Deinonuychus again and you're right they werent much bigger than veloceraptors- however, the utahraptor was much bigger than those in JP- its the largest species of raptor and could grow over 6 feet tall. i am quite literally watching a documentary on it- and it is much larger than both of those types of raptors.

  • @Kishwick True, a full-grown Utahraptor is a bit larger than those in the movie. However, it still makes sense that the JP raptors were Utahraptors. Their slightly smaller size could be explained by any number of factors; they may not be fully grown, dwarfism could be a result of fragments of frog DNA in their genome, they may not be getting certain proteins (unavailable in the modern era) which inhibits their growth, etc. Let's just agree that real Utahraptors being BIGGER is terrifying.

  • to those who think the raptors are inaccurate- its Hollywood. theres going to be inaccuracies

to those who think Iron Maiden sucks- listen to these songs: Still Life, Infinite Dreams, Phantom of the Opera, Blood Brothers, Fear of the Dark, Wrathchild, Blood on the World's Hands, The Trooper, Number of the Beast etc.

  • clever girl

  • "Clever girl"

  • @thebronzebat Are you a fucking idiot? It's not Deinonychus. It's Utahraptor.

  • 1:16 = Smile for the camera!

  • evem though the jp3 raptors talked to each other the raptors in jp and tlw looked way more realistic ever since they made way more intelligent calculations on how to catch theire pray and thats why the jp3 raptors suck

  • @nietbekend2 You wanna know something funny about that? The Lost World raptors were actually frenzying and not working together like a pack very well in the book.

  • love the 1st one, hate the 2nd one, love the third one, although billy should've remained dead for a higher body count

  • Noobannialator: You just be glad that you're some anonymous internet retard, because otherwise I'd hunt you down and kill you.

  • Iron maiden sucks, this is good movie too.

  • I'm thinking about using this song in a Red Dead Redemption video about hunting (or rather being hunted by) cougars, but it might be a bit too similar to this one... what do you think?

  • Jurassic Park Raptors and Iron Maiden? Congrats good sir/lady, you have made a kick ass video.

  • good vid...however those where Deinonychus that Jurassic park REALLY used. not Velociraptors. they just thought the name would be more exotic then useing Deinonychus.
