  • In '79 I was in The Battle of the Bands and Jim Martin was in a competing band playing this song. He later was the guitarist for 'Faith No More'. Great job! *****

  • Wow! MTG! That is such a cool story! What was your band's song? Thanks!!

  • I can't remember, it might have been all originals. We placed second. The drummer for the band that won wasTroy Lucketta, who is now the drummer for 'Tesla'. Those were good times, man. I remember that Troy was the guy that told me Elvis Presley died. We were burning one at the time. I thought he was bull-shitting me - hah.

  • Damn! You have been is some great company! I can just imagine the "Elvis scene" lol!

  • anyway, mick ronson should've been credited as co-author of the song... it started its life around the same time as Jean Genie during some jam on the tour bus...

  • yep-I was thinking the same thing. Ronson's style is all over the riff.

  • Nice job!!! Great tone!!! Cool tune!!!!

  • Thanks-it's a song I have always wanted to do-and finally did!

  • Hey, looks like you got your LP back!!! Nice job!!!

  • hey man-finally! I got it back about a week ago-but just haven't had time to do stuff-its been killing me! Thanks!!

  • Very nice! I always liked this song and riff too! Nice choice!! 5 Stars!

  • Thanks Sage! this version is a little louder than the orig. but I didn't realize that it is so much shorter! Thanks!!
