ok to make it easy make a folder for the nes roms

1-open up the rombank v1.6.2, 2-Under Add/Remove Roms, click the first button to add all the ROMs in a given folder to your ROM list.

3-Once you've added all your ROMs, you can manipulate the list to get it just the way you want it. At the very least, you'll probably want to sort the list alphabetically using the "AZ" button.

4-When you're done making your ROM list, click the 'Build imbNES ISO' button in the lower left corner. Then pick the appropriate license (USA | Japan | Europe), press 'Build ISO', and choose where to save your ISO image.

5-Once the build process if finished, you can close rombank.exe. Now you're ready to burn the CD image that was just created... ( save your iso image in the same folder that contain the imbnes files)

If you are on Windows vista, simply right click on rombank icon and choose "run as administrator" ;)

i tried exactly what u did, and that didnt work... i was getting the message that LittleMoso says hes getting, until I extracted all the roms to a new folder, then it worked perfectly.

yes you can save the games you push either L1 & R1 together or L2 & R2 together and choose the save option

Great tutorial. I have a question. Instead of 'Simpsons' which you chose, I chose 'Parodius' and got these roms:

Parodius da! (J) [hFFE][p1].nes ,

Parodius da! (J) [hFFE][p1][b1].nes ,

Parodius da! (J) [p1][hM04].nes ,

Parodius da! (J).nes

The first one plays on my US version of PS1, while the rest do not. Have you come across this issue? And if so, have you found a workaround?

you need to do the disk swap method, there's many videos on how to do it on youtube just search for it, and if your trying to use swap magic or anything it wont work, cause swap magic only works for ps2 games

most computers come with some kind of burning program, like sonic, roxio, power dvd when you put a cd in and it ask if you want to burn it what is the main program you get when you first got your computer u can use that im betting

i think he meant the burning program. and the games arent actually free. you have to own it in some form for example, virtual console on wii or the actual game. if you are caught with a rom of a game you dont have then you can get in trouble fyi

forget my last message i dont get header probs on cd-rw discs so im just gonna buy a ps2 and try to get the disc to work that way.

i cant get the ps1 to read cd-rw

did you try doing the disk swap on the ps1 cause its a little harder to do on ps2's unless you have a fat one which are easier to play burnt psx games on

I have fixed the header problems

i used alchahol 120% and at first i had a problem i could only record onto cd-rw which doesnt work on real ps1 so i found out that if i change the disc speed to 4x 600kb/sec it works fine with cd-r discs

so now my no header error problems that i had doenst come up anymore

onto other things there is a extremely easy way to do the disc swap technique it involves a cheat device that plugs into the back of the real ps1 i plan to put up a video at sometime

how do i fix no header errors?

i tried this and then loaded the iso file into a ps1 emulator and it worked

and then i put it onto a disc and then tried loading the disc onto the ps1 emulator and i got no header errors

basically if i get it onto a disc and it starts working on the ps1 emulator then i will know it will work on the real ps1

Dont worry.... I'll try mine on the PSX (Or ps1 for short). If that doesn't work, then I believe the PS2 is the final answer.

Its okay. I got it working (at least frame-rate is a bit higher or lower, depending on what game your playing). At least no problems on the PSX. If I had to do it on the PS2, then I need to block the sensors, or I might need a modchip which could void my warrenty.

if you just block the sensors it doesnt void your warranty cause i blocked the 2 sensors on my slim ps2 and the warrenty isnt broke
