Scrums back then were an even bigger joke than they are today! Yet dinosaurs like Fat Artie want this rubbish to return to the game - ridiculous! Pack, repack, repack, penalty - yep, the good old days, what a crock! The less time spent stuffing around at the scrum the better.
@CamboL Point is, mate, it's meant to be a contest. Blow enough penalties and they'll soon figure out how to pack in properly Although for players under 25 these days, they've probably never contested one.
